Chapter 3

I blinked a couple of times to break out of my daze, and turned to Lovino.

"You wanna get coffee after this?" I asked him.

Lovino rolled his eyes in disbeleif, gesturing to my flask. "You're already jacked up on caffine."

"Hey! I finsished that ages ago... besides, it was decaf..."

Lovi snorted. "Fine. Coffee it is."

Grinning, I decided to take a detour around the office; which of course meant rolling around the room in my desk chair. I had just about completed my third lap around the room when Roderich walked in, looking slightly angry. I swallowed, then tried to make it look like I was working. Translation: I closed Twitter.

"Lovino, Feliciano, you're being let go early for today." He huffed, crossing his arms as he spoke. "The staff can handle the workload for today."

Lovino and I looked at eachother, then back to Roderich.

"You're serious?" Lovi asked.

"Yes, I'm serious." Rod sighed. "A bunch of people are being let out early since the workload is so small today."

I had practically already left, to be honest. I had gathered my things when the first announcement had come, and Lovino seemed to have done the same thing, since he was already slipping on his jacket. I threw on my red fabric coat (red for autumn!) and deposited my flask in my handbag, before basically dragging Lovino to the nearest Starbucks. He came along quietly, occasionally pulling out his phone to text. I tried to peer at what he was typing, but he hit me away when he spotted me. Soon enough, we were sat on the higher seats of the coffee shop, staring out at the street. He had hot chocolate ("I don't want any more caffine!"), while I had my caramel frappuccino.

Because we had been let out early and not on rush hour, the shop was pretty empty, aside from a cute looking teenage couple who appeared to be laughing at something on one of their phones: I peered at the phone and saw it was open on Tumblr. The guy holding the phone had white hair and purple eyes, while his boyfriend was Asian and had black hair. When the black haired guy saw me looking, I waved sheepishly (to my surprise, and his boyfriend's, he waved back), then turned back to face Lovino.

His head was resting on the counter, hidden in his arms, and his hair had fallen over his face. Of course, he was sleeping. I prodded him a little, which warrented no response, so instead I pulled harshly on his curl. A loud 'chigi' noise sort of... eminated... from him, before he almost slapped me. I managed to hold him back, and he got distracted when he got a text anyways.

"Is that Toni?" I asked, trying to look at the screen, but I was swatted away.

"It's Gil." He replied.

"Ah..." I said absent-mindedly. "Wait, why are you texting Gil?"

Lovino smirked (which only could mean bad) and sent off another text. Then he looked at me with a knowing stare, which was sort if terrifying.

"I'm getting you a boyfriend." He stated simply.
