Bella POV

Lessons continued to roll by. I just zoned out all the way. Looking outside the window. Not even sparing a glance at Tao nor Bernice. My mind wondered to tonight's events and I felt myself losing control to the need... "Bella! Yo Bella!" Someone snapped me out of my daze. It was Tao. "Huh?" I questioned. "School's over. Let's go home" beside him Bernice was also there waiting for me. "Look guys you should not associate wif me any longer...I'll only put y'all in danger" I whispered the last part. "Sorry but we ain't leaving. We don't care what u do outside of school. In school, you are our bestfren. And we stick together. Got it girl?" Bernice responded. Tears swelled in my eyes. 'They don't care...I can have frens...' I nodded. Smiles took over their faces. I quickly packed up and left with them. "Wanna grab some ice cream and chill?" Everyone nodded. And that's how we ended up at the park eating ice cream.
The wind blew through my hair and I found myself enjoying and letting my guard down. It was slowly getting darker. We all just sat in peaceful silence watching the sun set. Just than, a man walked over to us. My suspicion grew as he neared. I saw him trying to take something out of his coat and I near straight away it was a gun. I envisioned exactly what he was about to do thanks to my experience and eyes. I stood up fast and took out my shuriken and aimed it right for his neck. It sliced him before even be could pull the trigger and he dropped down dead. I turned around only to see Tao and Bernice wearing shock expression. 'Shit! Completely forgot they were here'. I started panicking. Usually if there was a witness, I'll kill them on the spot too... But they're my friends, how could I do that. Well they might not be after they saw this. "Look guys-" I started but was cut out by Tao. "We have to run. Someone just threw something at him. Didn't u see. OMG! We ha e to call the police." Tao rambled. 'They didn't see me throwing my weapon?' That's when it hit me, I was showing my back to them so they didn't see anything. They thought someone else threw it. "Bella! Bella! Let's go!" They yelled. I nodded and followed after them sighing in relief that my secret and identity was still safe.
