Annabeth

Walking into the lunchroom was very worrisome. My stomach twisting and turning. I looked at Percy for support and he gave me a reassuring smile.
Percys smile comforted me. He was just so sweet.
Annabeth N. O.
What? Im just saying he's a good guy.
Ok.....
Again with my conscience. My buzzkill, no fun, totally right about this, conscience.
I sat down in the middle between Piper and Percy.
Then Thalia came and sat down next to Jason and a black haired girl. I avoided eye contact with her. What would I say? How could I apologize for being so horrible? Would she forgive me? Then the black haired girl broke the silence.
"Hi! Your Annabeth right? I'm Reyna. I heard what Luke did earlier. He's a serious creep."
"Yea."
A red head sitting by Leo spoke next, "Nice to meet you! I'm Calypso. Leo's girlfriend." When Calypso said this I noticed Leo's smile grew a ton.
"Nice to meet you too!" My mood was brightening ever so slightly and I felt a grin grow on my face. Percy then pointed to a blonde haired boy and a black haired boy. "This is Will. And the black haired little one is my cousin Nico."
"Hey!" The boy Nico said.
"Just sayin dude."
I laughed at there little argument and felt my smile brighten again. Then Percy spoke again.
"And my friend Grover is the one chewing on the bottle cap in the corner of the table. And that's his girlfriend Juniper."
"Hi! I'm juniper nice to meet you!" She waved and nudged Grover in the arm and he started waving.
Then a group of girls led by a blonde haired girl I saw with the "fan club" as Percy calls it came up behind me.
"Hey new girl. I was wondering if you'd like to sit with us at lunch instead of these losers. But Percy, Jason your welcome to come with!"
Then Thalia stood up. "She's not going anywhere with you."
"Well then we'll ask her."
"What do you wanna do Annie?"
I froze for a second. I knew what Drew was doing. I knew her. She was trying to stress me out.
But I composed myself.
"I would like to stay here thank you."
"Bad choice. You don't want to make the same mistake you did last time. Remember? When your crush on Luke made you give away your best friend? Your just as bad as any one of us populars. So get with your people."
Then I looked at Thalia. She had the face. Her "don't touch my baby sister" face. "She's not going Drew move along. Her glare was deep and threatening. Drew took a step back. "We will wait and see who she becomes." Then Thalia looked back at me. "Come with me." I hadn't realized that I had started a minor panic attack. Percy hesitantly let me go with Thalia alone. There was sadness in his eyes as I walked away. He looked crushed. Wonder why?

Percy
I can't believe Annabeth just had a panic attack. It broke my heart that she had them. No one deserves to feel like that. I should know. With all the abuse from my step father I have developed having them.
Then Leo spoke. "Hey you ok?" Then my trance was broken. "Uh yea just- umm." Then Reyna spoke next. "You like Annabeth don't you?" As she spoke I was taking a drink of milk so a little dripped out of my mouth. Once I swallowed I said, "what? I mean like yea she's seems like a nice-uh yea-uh..." then Piper did a little squeal. "Aww that's so cute!"
"Guys shut up. I don't have a crush on Annabeth. We JUST met."
Leo smirked. "Well tell us when your ready to tell us when you didn't "just meet her"."
Then I saw Annabeth and Thalia coming back to the table.

Annabeth

As we were walking a tear rolled down my cheek. "I'm so sorry Thalia. I really am. I'm a horrible friend." Then another tear rolled down my cheek as
we walked into the bathroom and Thalia grabbed a paper towel to dry my face. "No your not horrible. While what you did was STUPID and you didn't listen when I told you he was bad news, Luke was really manipulative to you. He was family, and that gave him an advantage over you. I'm so sorry he hurt you."
"Wait what? You forgive me?"
"Of course I do. We may be the same age but your still my little sister and I have to love you."
"Aww Thals!"
"Come here."
Then we had the biggest hug. It felt good to have my sister back.
"Is that woman still beating you?"
"Yea"
"Can I kill her? Serious question."
"Sadly no."
"Ugggg."
"Yea I know"
We both laughed a little and Thalia released me from the hug.
"We should get back to the table."
And we walked side by side back to the table.

Once we sat down Percy immediately was worried. "Are you ok?" His face was of genuine concern as was everyone else's. "I'm fine guys seriously. Drew and me used to know each other and tries to get to me when she can. She's who Luke cheated with."
Then all the girls started smiling. "Well good news for you you have a bunch of backup next time a boy breaks your heart." And everyone agreed.
"I also have an older brother Magnus so I guess I'm covered this time." Everybody was smiling and laughing and having a good time. Another girl Katie came and sat with us with a girl named Hazel. And three boys came in too. Frank, Hazels boyfriend, and Conner and Travis or (the Stoll brothers) as I know they are called. Apparently there really into pranks. We all laughed and goofed off and I really liked all of them. They were all really sweet. But my favorite part was seeing Percy's smile over all this. He looked so happy and I was too. Not one frown at the table. That was one of the first times in a while I felt genuinely happy. I had a group. I had a family.
