Chapter 31 - Tied up, part 4
~James POV~
"Where do you reckon Moony and Lily are?" I asked. Sirius shrugged.
"Dunno. Probably hours away." Sirius replied. I stared down at the dark, stone floor. We had ventured into halls with wet walls, wet ceilings, and wet floors an hour ago.
"What if they're in trouble?" I asked.
"I'm sure they're fine. You know Lily and Remus. Their more talented with one wand then me with two!"
"What if their ambushed like we were!"
"Stop worrying about it. Worrying will not help them."
"I hate this. We should have never split up!"

"We should have never split up!"
The shield charm me and Remus had casted thirty seconds ago was going to break any second. We sprinted down the halls, not daring to look back incase it slowed one of us down.
"Let's just hope they don't call You-Know-Who!" Remus shouted back. We finally reached a corner to turn, and I asked another shield charm as we passed.
"Come on, we have to make sure they won't be able to follow us!" We kept running, and when we were halfway down the next hall, I could hear loud grunts of pain as the two Deatheaters hit the invisible shield.
I was already out of breath, but I didn't care. We kept on running. I wondered and hoped that James and Sirius hadn't run into the same Deatheaters we had. And I know that they hadn't run into Snape. They would have stunned him and made sure he wouldn't make it out for a long time.

"Okay, okay, I think we lost them," I sighed. Me and Remus both, with out saying, stopped and slumped to the ground, both out of breath. We had been running for about five minutes, each time when we turned a corner, each casted another shield charm to slow them down.
"Once we — catch our — breath," I huffed, holding a stitch in my side. "We need to — keep going. Making sure we — take — as much turns — as possible." Remus nodded. We sat there on the ground, breathing heavily, and after a couple of minutes, once we caught our breath, we started off again.
We kept walking as far away as possible, not wanting to have another run in with them.
"Okay, Remus, do you think it's safe to just send a Patronus message to James and Sirius? Just to make sure their alright?" I asked Remus, just after I had used the four point spell.
"Sure. Just tell them that we're safe, don't say we had a run in with a couple of Deatheaters and Snape," Remus replied. I nodded, waving my wand, and then a beautiful doe floated out of my wand. The doe stared, watching us silently.
"Are you two still okay?" I said aloud. With that, the doe disappeared, lighting up the dark, damp halls with its magnificent bright light.
"And now we wait."

"Look, Remus, look, something's coming!" I said, jumping up and pointing to another jet of brilliant, bright light.
"We're safe, we're fine, where are you?" James' voice drifted out of the Stag Patronus. Me and Remus sighed.
"Okay. We just need to get out of here —!"
"There! There! Let's get'em!" I jumped, turning round to see three more Death Eaters running up the halls, shooting jets of red, blue, purple, and green.
"Run, Remus, run!" I yelled to him, casting some more shielding charms as we sprinted off.
"Why do we keep getting found out by Death Eaters!" I yelled.
"Maybe they saw the Patronus!" Remus shouted back in reply.

"Protego! Stupefy! Expelliarmus!"
One Death Eater dropped, and the second on started to duel me, sending spells at me, rather than Remus. We dueled for a minute, until the Death Eater Remus was dueling, swished his wand in the air. A jet of bright, purple light flew out and hit Remus right in the chest.
"Remus!" I screamed, falling to my knees and shaking him. "Remus!" I yelled again. And another jet of red light, and everything went black.

"Lily! Lily!"
My eyes sprung open to see Remus bent over me, looking worried, scared, and very pale.
"Remus? Remus! Whats happened, are you okay?" I said, sitting up quickly and stuffing my hand in my pocket to try to get my wand.
Only my wand was gone, and I could tell, So was Remus's.
"Remus, where are we?"
"I don't know, just I woke up just a couple minutes ago. But I remember seeing James and Sirius somewhere!"
"Where, Remus, where?" I asked eagerly.
"Before I was knocked out, I saw them at the end of the hall. They had probably heard the screaming, and come round the corner to see us being dragged off or something!"
"Well hopefully they didn't go after us! What if they were caught, too?"
"Let's not worry about them right now. To be honest, I'm kind of sick of being so worried all the time." Remus sighed.
And then with a bang, the door locking us in swung open to reveal James and Sirius, both out of breath and panting.
"James!" I yelled, jumping up and kissing him on the lips. We stayed like that for a precious, two seconds, and then we were yanked apart.
"Sirius!" Me and James yelled together.
"We have to go!" Sirius yelled.
"Oh, right!" James said. "Okay, so it's a really long story, but we need to go, we've found the exit, but we need to fight our way out, okay?" James passed me and Remus wands.
"Okay, we need to go, now!" Sirius shouted.
"Run!" James yelled. We sprinted out, and I could see everyone from the Order, all fighting with quick, swift movements. I saw Marlene, Alice, Dorcas fighting, Moody, Kingsley, and the Weasleys, Arthur and Molly.
"Not so fast." A cold voice spoke. It sounded as quiet as a whisper, but so close to my ear, that it was like a shout. Everyone looked around to see to everyone's horror, Voldemort was standing there, scarlet eyes gleaming, terrorizing grin growing on his pale, snake-like face.
