~Falling Without A Parachute~

*Play Song*

A bomb of that size and power could never have done the damage it did in any other place, but of course, with Aphmau's luck, it was in just. that. place.

The explosion pierced the whole cabin's ears as they all ducked in defense, even though the majority of them were fastened in their seat belts.

An unlucky food cart is flung to the opposite wall, spaghetti falling like confetti from the defective metal box. The crash causing the cabin to scream once more.

But that wasn't what scared everyone the most, it was the enlarging crack along the seam of the airplane frame.

The ceiling started to tear with a shrill cry that sent shudders down everyone's spine, no matter how much of their hearing had been preserved.

And with the ceiling, there went the walls, and eventually....the floor.

Everyone was too shocked to move, too frightened to think, and too humane to know this is what nightmares are made of.

Finally, Aaron's brain kicked into gear. "EVERYONE STAY BUCKLED AND GRAB YOUR LIFEVESTS! LETS GO!"

As people began to realize reality once more, they start to maneuver their arms underneath their seats to retrieve their vests a bit too slowly, the walls tearing quicker as the force from the turbine jets and gravity work together to pull apart the plane in one slow painful jerk.

The crack is right behind the last row of seats near the back of the plane, so according to this plane's blueprint the engines were attached to the portion of the plane where all the passengers and crew were.....well, that's until this happened.

"I'll get the crew's vests!" Aphmau shouts, removing herself from Aaron's grasp, but he catches her by the forearm last minute.

"Aphmau get away from there. I just almost lost you....." Aaron starts, but Aphmau returns the favor from before and places a kiss right on his lips, his words forever lost as his focus became redirected.

Aphmau then released just enough to say rapidly. "....I'm the closest to the cabinet, and it would take too long for you to get around me cause, face it you're huge. So I'll be right back okay?"

Still awe-struck by the kiss, Aaron couldn't catch her in time as she rushed down the aisle to reach the cabinet next to the bathrooms that held the vests, holding the top of the seats as she went as mediocre support in the planes horrific shaking.

The altitude of the plane had dropped significantly, now reaching 2,000 feet, maybe even 1,000.

With numerous voices calling for her, she made a small leap across the crack to the back of the plane, unlocking then swinging open the cabinet to snatch the vests. But in her attempt to run back, her sleeve had gotten stuck in the cabinet door.

Aphmau groaned in fear as she tried to pull it out by force while fumbling with the key which made the act even more difficult, also considering the dozen of vests in hand.

Aaron soon realized Aphmau wasn't gonna make it over the crack in time, so he sprinted down the aisle after her, but he didn't make much ground, as the plane's shaking only increased.

The splitting of the plane had reached the point where the wires and frame had all started to rupture all at once.

Seeing this, Aphmau meets Aaron's gaze one last time, her tears falling at a continous rate as she heaved the vests across the gap. The back of plane and the front had torn to the point where they met perpendicularly, screams echoing out into the day as the frame finally snaps and Aphmau along with the back of the plane are flung into a spiraling frenzy to the ocean below.

The whooshing air and the feeling of falling hit Aphmau with such ferocity she was struggling for breath.

Still attached by the sleeve for some miraculous reason, a strike of genius enters her mind as she notices she was just steps from the bathroom stall.

With no other idea in mind, she uses the last of her strength to pull the door open and swing herself inside.

With the door now closed behind her, the butterfly feeling in her abdomen had decreased but she was still immersed in the dropping solid object.

There was no air to give her the ability to scream, so all she did was grasp onto the assistance handle for dear life while staring out of an oval window on the otherside of the closed stall.

With adrenaline pumping through her system, and the ocean approaching fast, Aphmau closed her eyes and everything around her began to slow down.

The world seemingly went still, the toilet seat which had been rapidly fluttering like a hummingbird's trusted wing, had started to do the same thing, but at a millionth of the pace.

Everything became disoriented. The edges of Aphmau'a vision fuzzing with black. The sounds around her wavering between deep and squeaky.

And as she closed those eyes, preparing for fate to take its course, her loved ones screening across the inside of her eyelids.

But its okay....

Its okay to die....its just how it goes.... Aphmau thought

At least I'll die loved.....

Have a nice day my crystals!
