Jayne's POV:
I got woken up by my phone playing God is a woman by Ariana Grande, so I knew it straight away it was a call. I picked my phone up and saw Zach's name pop up. 'of course he'd put his name as that ' Zachy boy'//my thoughts. I giggled a little as I started to get changed. I answered my phone saying "hey Z, what's up?"  I heard a little girl say "you coming over, by the way it's Reese." I laughed again and then she added "I have you on loud speaker Jayne." I giggled a little again and then I said "OK, yes I am coming over today, I'm getting changed now, and does Zach know you have his phone sweetie?"  before Reese could speak I could hear Zach's voice say "Reese what are you doing with my phone?" Reese giggled and said "here you can have your girlfriend because she's on call." I could hear the phone hit Zach in the stomach which he groaned.

Zach's POV:
I could hear a cute laugh come from my phone, so I moved it from my stomach. I put her name as 'cutie pie' on my phone because originally it was just saying 'Jayne' yes I think she is cute but that doesn't matter//my thoughts. My thoughts were cut off when I heard my phone say "Z, you there?" I answered "yes cu - Jayne I'm here" and I she started laughing. Her laugh is so cute//my thoughts. She told me she would be around in two minutes, so I waited on the steps for her. Whilst I was waiting for Jayne to knock on the door I felt arms wrap around my waist, so I turned around to see Kay.

*Kay's swimsuit*

Kay said "hey babe" I just replied with "mhm" Kay let go of my waist and then she walked off but at the same time she said "I'm off to the pool babe" I nodded my head and that's where she walked off to.

Jayne's POV:
I entered the Herron family's front garden but as I got to the door I heard laughter from the back garden. I took a deep breath in and then knocked on the door. Please be Z, please be Z//my thoughts. When the door opened I blushed a little as my thoughts were correct. "hey Z, how are you? I'm glad it's you and no one else." I made Zach laugh. You Reese must of heard me because she ran and jumped into my arms and hugged me. I said which made Zach smile "hey Reese sweetie." Kay saw and said "how come you never hug me when I knock on the door?"  all Reese said which made me giggle a bit "shut up Kay."

*Zach's swim shorts*

Zach's POV:
When Jayne giggled my heart pounded but I also held my laugh back when Reese said "shut up Kay" Kay must of heard Jayne giggle because I saw Kay give Jayne a dirty look and after Kay went to the pool again. Reese then asked "Jayne have you got your swimsuit?" and Jayne nodded her head. And then kneeled to Reese's height and said "hey can you give us a few minutes alone?"  Reese nodded her head and left, I said "what's up?"  she replied "well...why...erm... When Reese called my phone your name popped up saying Zachy boy, why? I then tried to say "well...erm...you can change it Jayne" she shook her head and then gave me a cute look saying "who says I'm changing it Z?" she smiled then added "go to the pool, I'll be out, I just need to change into my swimsuit." I said "just fold up your clothes and put them on my bed." she kisses my cheek then walks up the stairs to the bathroom.

Jayne's POV:
When I exited the bathroom wearing
*my swimsuit*

I saw the bedroom with the name plake above the door saying Zach. When I entered his room to put my folded clothes on his bed and I saw a book and it said 'drawing book of feelings' so I placed my clothes on Z's bed and had a peek in his book, yes I know it's rude to snoop but when it's drawings I had to. "oh my...." I said as I saw me in the drawing book. I felt my heart beat out my chest. I didn't realise at first but Zach's bedroom door flung open, I lifted my head to see Zach. He said as he sat next to me "you like them?" I smiled and said "Z... I'm...I'm sorry I wasn't...." he quickly said "hey, hey, hey don't worry, I actually forgot I left it out." he laughed which it melted my heart but I said "I snooped and your not angry at me?" he shook his head which made me smile.

Zach's POV:
When Jayne smiled my heart melted. We heard the door open but me and Jayne didn't break eye contact until a scream came from my door way which then Jayne ran to Reese and quieted Reese down by saying "shh Reese indoor voices please" Reese quieted down then tried to say "you... Zach... Oh my god." I then said "Reese one word of this you'll know about it" Jayne then said "z, that's not nice to say to your sister... But please Reese, please don't tell Kay, she hates me enough as it is even though I haven't done anything wrong." Reese nodded her head saying "I promise I won't."

Jayne's POV:
When Reese promised not to tell anyone about the moment when me and Z had, I hugged her and she hugged me me back and then kissed me on the cheek and said "you ready for the pool Zachy and Jay?" me and Zach both said in sync "yes we are Reese." Reese ran downstairs and then Zach held his hand out at me. I put my hand in to Zach's hand and he gently squeezed my hand and slowly pulled me up. Me and Zach was inches away from kissing. I want to... But I can't...he is dating Kay//my thoughts.

Zach's POV:
Me and Jayne are close but too close that we were about to kiss. I kinda like it. She looks really cute in her swimsuit//my thoughts. My head is saying the same as my wife heart and they are saying for me to kiss her. Kiss her you idiot//my thoughts... The thing is if I kiss Jayne it is classed as cheating because I am dating Kay. Why aren't I like this with Kay?... Why do I wanna kiss Jayne only after one day of knowing her//my thoughts. My thoughts were cut off by Jayne saying "we should...erm...go to the pool Z." and I said with a nervous gulp "yes we...erm...erm...should." she walks down the stairs.

Jayne's POV:
As we entered the pool/back garden all head turned to me and all their mouths opened except Kay's because all she was doing which I'm guessing Zach saw coz Z said "Kay stop giving her the evils"  Kay stopped and lass called Gabbie said "Jayne your swimsuit is really pretty, where the hell did you get it?" I said "I got it at Top shop." Christina (Corbyn's girlfriend) squealed which made my eardrums pop a bit. Our of nowhere I felt someone sweep me off my feet so I looked and it was Z and he threw me in the pool but I grabbed his arms so he fell in the pool as well.

Zach's POV:
After I fell in the water I waited for Jayne to come to the top so she could breath. I felt someone pulled me under water, when my head went under water I saw Jayne really close to me holding my waist. We were inches from kissing again. I didn't realise that our heads were out of the water and I kissed her. She pulled away then everyone gasped and then she looked at Kay. Jayne then swam out the pool rubbing her hand across my stomach. The when she exited the pool everyone turned their heads to me then Jayne burst into tears then as everyone's heads turned to Jayne she looked at me with tears streaming down her face she then ran off. I was about to go after her but Daniel said "I'll go bro, you deal with Kay." Daniel runs after Jayne and I look at Kay and then got out of the pool.

Jayne's POV:
I ran to Zach's room then when I entered his room my clothes were on the edge of Zach's bed. When I grabbed my clothes I turn around to see Daniel stood in the door way. Daniel said "hey Jay, you OK?" I said "yeah, I just don't want to..." Daniel interrupted "he's an idiot Jay" I wipe my eyes then said "why Dani?" he replies "well, let's see, he is dating Kay and he has fallen for a really pretty girl like you Jay." I laugh nervously saying "really?" Daniel nodded his head with a wink at the same time. I hug Daniel and he hugs me back tightly. I say in his ear "I love you Dani, thank you for been there" I felt his hand rub slowly up and down my back.

Zach's POV:
Me and Kay started arguing but all I could think of was the kiss I gave Jayne. The thing that got me cut off my thoughts was when Kay said "after so many years being together you now want to break my heart with her, wow Zach thought you had standards, but I guess not...we're over." to be honest I'm glad we're over coz now I can focus on telling Jayne how I feel about her. Tatum (Jonah's girlfriend) said "wow Kay, wait to go, I never liked you and Jayne is..." I interrupted spilling my feelings to everyone "Jayne is awesome, pretty, funny, and talented and I am very greatful for Jayne to be in my life." I look around and and saw everyone looks jaw dropped I then said "oops" I smiled in relieved and I ran to find Dani and Jayne. When I ran up the stairs I had to bend down so they didn't catch me because I saw Dani and Jayne hug but I felt kinda jealous of their friendship. She looks really happy like she was in the right person's life and like she is in love//my thoughts. I felt my heart sink.

Jayne's POV:
I caught for Zach on the stairs so I said to Daniel "can you go to the stairs and get Zach in here I need to speak to him." Daniel nodded his head and walked to the stairs and he said "hey bro, get to your room and speak to her, she needs to speak to you." Zach slowly got up from bending down on the stairs and walks up the stairs. Zach leaned against the door from all cool and shit like that. So I grabbed his arm and pulled him in the room and shut the door.

Zach's POV:
Jayne turns around from closing the door and I said awkwardness filled the room "well..." she then said "well what?" I rolled my eyes and said "what do you want to talk to me about?" she then replied "oh, the kiss, why did you do that when your dating Kay...and it's been only two days since we've known each other?" I had to tell her the truth so I said "first of all Kay broke up with me and second your amazing and I want to be with you." her eyes looked sad so I asked her "what's up Jay?" I moved closer to her but every time I moved closer she stepped away from me and I knew something was wrong.

Jayne's POV:
I couldn't bear myself to tell him so when he asked me what's up I just said "can we forget we ever liked each other please, I can't be doing this again, I don't want to be hurt or you to be hurt or for you to be hurt Z, I just want to be friends." I ran out of Zach's room to the back garden and I saw Daniel so I ran In his arms and just cried into his chest and said" I friend zoned him Dani, I hate myself." Daniel lifted my head and said "hey, hey, don't worry it will work out in the end." he smiled then I surprised Daniel by pushing him in the pool.

Daniel's POV:
I got pushed in the pool by Jayne Reid, what the...//my thoughts. My thoughts got cut off when I lifted my head out the pool and connected with Jayne's smile which is oh my god was...no stop Daniel I can't she's in love with your best friend not you//my conscious. Jayne said laughing "sorry Dani I needed a laugh"  I said "it's fine now help me out." she gave me the look and said "think I am that stupid Dani?" I rolled my eyes whilst smiling and just stayed by the edge. Jayne sat down and just dipped her feet in the pool.

Zach's POV:
As I entered the back garden 5 minutes after Jayne walked out. I saw Jayne there talking to Daniel with her feet in the pool. I walked to the pool but Jo stood in front of me and said "what happened with you two coz Jayne came running to Dani crying." and I said "well she said she didn't want to get hurt or to hurt me and she just wants to be friends Jo that's all." Jo had the look of curiosity across his face then he said "OK I can see if I can talk to her."  I quickly shook my head and said " no no no Jo please don't I beg you." Jo replied "OK OK I was just asking." Jo then walked off to Tatum and I went to go in to the pool.

Jayne's POV:
I saw Zach talking with Jonah but I tried to forget what happened between me and Zach earlier. Dani makes me happy when I need someone to cheer me up. I'm glad he was the one who checked up on me earlier. Me and Dani spoke for 5 minutes until I saw Zach enter the pool. Dani must of saw I was distracted because the next thing I knew was a hand stroke my leg and I lost my distraction by falling into the water. Which then I felt arms grab my waist for support.

Daniel's POV:
When I caught Jayne distracted by something I saw her legs under the water but before I tried what I thought I said her name six times but she was still distracted so I tried a different technique and I slowly stroked her left leg and it must of took her out off her distraction because she fell into the pool but it looks like she wasn't able to get her balance so I managed to place my hands onto her waist. I she turned around and looked directly into my eyes which made me feel weak.

Zach's POV:
I was talking with Gabbie when I saw Jayne fall into the pool. My heart sunk even more for what I saw next. Daniel held her waist but I get why he did that she wasn't able to get her balance. But then she turned around and looked at Daniel in the eyes. Gabbie said "Z is everything OK?" I said "no Gabbie I'm not" Gabbie knew when I said that I was really hurt. She asked "what's up Zach?, wanna talk about it?" I said "I never thought it would be that easy to fall in love from the first day, and when I told her well I showed her and she said she doesn't want to be hurt or to hurt me and she just wants to be friends. Why would she do that?" Jack said "she might of said that because she either was hurt or she didn't realise until she lost it by hurting them. Jayne does love you she's just worried of losing or you losing her." I quickly said "but that's the past, everyone deserves to love someone and not be alone." Corbyn said "well talk to her bro and see why she's so scared to tell you how she feels." I felt confident and said "maybe you three are right." I swam to Daniel and Jayne.

Jayne's POV:
I saw Zach swim near me and Dani, so I went quiet. Daniel turned to see Zach and he rolled his eyes. I saw Zach get angry so I said "Dani don't, can me and Zach be alone for a bit please." Daniel nodded his head and swam to Jonah. I asked with a soft voice staying calm "what do you want Zach?"  he said "I want to talk to you about earlier" I quickly said "there isn't anything to talk about Zach" I tried to swim to Daniel and Jonah but Zach grabbed my arm which pulled me back but so I could get my balance again I ended up grabbing Zach's shoulders. I turned around to be eye to eye with Zach. My heart raced fast and it felt like it came out of my chest.

Daniel's POV:
When Jayne asked me to leave my heart sunk. I wasn't sure if Jonah knows but he probably could tell by now. It's only been two days since we've all known her but I just can't get her off my mind. I don't think Zach can get Jayne of his mind either. Jonah said "Dani stop getting distracted by Jayne, she can't be stuck between you two honestly, I will be speaking to Jayne later." I came out of my distraction when Jo said that and I said "what are you talking about Jo?" then Jo said "will I kinda figured you and Z liked Jayne...well Z I knew when he kissed her even when he stuttered in front of her last night." I laughed nervously.

Zach's POV:
When I pulled Jayne around my heart raced and I said "Jayne please, I want to talk about earlier." she then said "Z there isn't anything to talk about, I told you I don't want to talk about it...i gotta go Zach, I'll see you at school tomorrow Z"  she then swam to the ladder and then got out off the pool, then wrapped a towel around her waist and walked off. Jonah then went after her.

Jayne's POV:
As I walked to Zach's room to get my clothes to go get changed, I felt a hand grab my arm so I around saying "Z I don't want...oh Jonah it's you?" Jonah then said "what happened between you and Z?" all I said was "nothing Jo, why?"  Jo then said "well, you and Z were fine and then well Z kissed you, then you went all upset and spent more time with Daniel, what happened Jay?" I looked at the floor and said "well I...erm...a few years ago I dated someone and we were together for 6 months...so I thought, turns out he was cheating on me with one of my ex friends, so I told Z I just wanted to be friends nothing more. I like Z but I just can't risk it Jonah" Jonah then hugged me and said "he likes you too, maybe if you tell him, he would understand, of course don't tell him just yet give yourself a few weeks Jay OK." I nodded my head and got changed in the bathroom. When I was changed I walked down the stairs.

Still Jayne's POV:
I entered the living room and saw Myta and Josh (Zach's parents). I explained everything to them because Josh asked " what happened between you and Zachary when he kissed you?" when I told them I fell in love with Zach they both smiled and Myta said "dear, you have to tell Zach. I know my son well, he loves you, we both see the way he looks at you, Kay broke up with Zachary all because he kissed you and he called you awesome, pretty, funny and talented and he also said he was greatful your in his life dear, ease don't try hide your feelings for something your heart wants." I filled up with tears and Myta asked "what's up dear?" I said wiping my eyes "nothing, you just remind me so much of my mum, Mrs Herron." Mrs Herron said "please dear call us Myta and Josh...what do you mean sweetheart?"  I said "well, Mrs H...Myta my mum recently passed away and she was the one who I went to when I had boy problems and your just like her caring, kind, lovely, and always easy to talk to." she smiled, then hugged me saying "if you ever need anything dear we will always be there for you no matter what happens dear." I hugged her back but then Zach walked in the living room.

Zach's POV:
As I walked into the living room my mum and Jayne were hugging but I heard my mum say "if you ever need anything dear we will always be there for you no matter what happens dear." my heart melted when I saw Jayne wipe her eyes. Jayne looked at me and then she ran and hugged me. I hugged back but before I did I said "I'm still wet from coming out the pool" she whispered in my ear "I don't care Zachy" I smiled as I hugged her. My mum said "we'll leave you two to have some privacy." then they left. Me and Jayne pulled away from the hug and she said "please Z can you forgive me for being a dick" I nodded my head and said "of course Jay I will always forgive you and your not a dick Jay." she then said "I want to tell you but can you give me a few weeks till I'm properly ready to tell you everything." I said "of course Jayne, but can I tell you something?" she nodded her head and I said "well ever since yesterday you all I could think about and for me it takes a while to find out if I like that person but there is just something about you that has trapped me in love with you."she went quiet." please say something Jayne please." then she said" Z I don't know what to say,all I can say is I need time Z, it's only been two days." I nodded my  head and said" yes, yes of course Jay, take as long as you need." she kisses me on the cheek then hugs me tightly.

Daniel's POV:
I went to make myself a drink when I saw Jayne and Zach hugging. After they hugged I heard Jayne ask Zach "hey Z, can we go watch the sunset?" then Zach said "yes, just let me get changed, you'll need to change your shirt, I have one you can borrow for now." they both headed up to Zach's room and about two minutes had passed when they came down the stairs laughing. They went out the front door but before the door closed I grabbed the handle and opened the door. They layed next to each other on the grass watching the sunset which of course was beautiful. About 30 minutes passed and the sunset has set, I heard voices coming from behind me. I then heard a voice say "spying on Jay and Z are you?" I turned around to see Jonah.

Jayne's POV:
As the sun was setting I felt a hand touch my hand which of course was Zach's hand, I just left it. 30 minutes passed and the sun has set. That was really beautiful wasn't it Zach?" I turned my head only to see Zach quickly move his head away. I giggled a bit which he turned his head back to me and I said" what Z?" he said "your giggle is really cute, just like you." I then looked away saying "I should say night to the others and then go home and set my alarm for tomorrow, erm Z I'll come here, so we can walk to school, since you know the way." we got up and headed back into the house.

Zach's POV:
As we got to the door I said "Jay, I...erm...sorry I didn't mean to..." she interrupted me saying "Z, it's fine don't apologise please" she then kissed me on the cheek again. I opened the door and like a gentleman I let her in first. She said "thanks Z, your such a gentleman." she giggled after saying it. She walks into the living room where everyone else was. I watched her walk to the living room which my heart pounded faster than normal every time I see her or be with her. She makes me smile and laugh.

Daniel's POV:
When Jayne entered the living room she had a really cute smile. Stop Daniel she loves Zach not you stop//my thoughts. She said "I will be going now and I will be walking with Zach to school tomorrow if that's fine with you Myta and Josh?" Myta and Josh said in sync "that's fine Jayne." Zach and Jayne looked at each other smiling. I walked up to Zach and Jayne and asked "what was that about?" Zach said "well Jayne asked me if I could walk her to school as it is her first day at school tomorrow so I said yes, I feel sorry for Jayne though because she has two years in high school." I looked at Jayne and said "wait your 17?" she nodded her head. When Zach and Jayne went to the front door. I heard Zach say "Jayne I was wondering if you and I could in a few weeks go out for a meal?" she said which made my heart sink "yes I'd love to Z." she left and Zach shut the door.
