A group of androids stood in front of a group of children, the androids then broke out into song, dancing and singing all around the large classroom. Some people would say it was like High School Musical, but now-a-days we call it VOCALOID. An android with a name tag with 'VOCALOID CV01 HATSUNE MIKU' stood in the middle of a circle of 5 other androids like her. An other android labeled 'VOCALOID CV02 RIN KAGAMINE' strutted up beside her and started to do harmonies, another labeled android with a hairstyle mimicking a banana came up and did the same, they created a beautiful harmony.

That was the past, though. Now we have become more advanced and the VOCALOIDs all have differing personalities and have the capacity to love, hate, grieve and all sorts of other emotions. They have hobbies varying from instrument to instrument, subject to subject and different pet rocks to other pet rocks (Rin). Now, love has been budding in the house of Crypton.

Luka pulled her long pink hair into a ponytail. "Trying to mimic your date, huh?" I threw a crumpled up piece of paper at Luka's back, she turned and looked at me with surprise. "Salty, aren't we, Swag-a-Money Len? At least I have a date. You will never get with IA, she's way out of your league." I folded my arms across my chest. I was salty, "Don't rub it in." I rolled my eyes and I felt a blush spread across my face. Luka chuckled slightly and plopped herself down on her queen sized bed beside me, she kissed my forehead, lightly. She proceeded with putting her socks on.

"Don't worry, you'll get someone someday, hopefully." I let my eyes droop. She laughed and patted my back. "I'm kidding. I think." Luka stood up and smoothed out her dress. She wore her V4 outfit, for Gackupo, of course. "I hope you have fun on your date..." I got up and grabbed my book, and excited Luka's soft pink room a few seconds before she did. I blocked out the clicking sound of her boots that they made while walking and entered my room and flopped down on my bed.

Was Luka right? Will I never get a date? I'm just an android, made for singing. I should just sing...That's what makes me happy. Not mourning over my dead love life. I thought to myself while staring at my faint yellow ceiling. Speaking of singing, that's what I decided to do. Springing up from my bed I hopped on my keyboard seat and pressed the keys. I played a slow, deep melody. It calmed me. I closed my eyes and relaxed, almost drifting off to sleep. Almost.

My mirror image, Rin Kagamine busted into my room. She yelled over at me. "Nice melody, you bundle of twigs!" She slammed my door, I heard laughter and giggling, I identified it as Miku and Rin, I sighed. Rin was always such a push over...Way too loud, obnoxious and a brat...Yet, I had a strange attraction to her. Why?
