Day 10: Rainbow Love
Prompt: write a love story that has at least one LGBTQ+ character or an LGBTQ+ theme
For this prompt I'll be writing about my two ocs from Metanoia, they're both girls and like each other but neither ever got to confess

She loves art like I love her
"What makes you love art so much Lobelia? You're always drawing." Saki asks out of boredom. Sitting on the sofa, swinging her legs while the other girl was laying stomach down on the floor with a pencil in her hand making free strokes.
"It gives me a sense of freedom, something we didn't have at that old hell-hole of an android worship place. On the canvas I can make whatever I want happen."
Saki continues to watch her sketch. A familiar scenery was drawn out of her memory, tall grass, sludge, skies that held toxins for clouds.
She wondered if drawing the things you hated was part of freedom too. For her, joy was in making machinery despite how she was once traumatized by her father taking different limbs of her and exchanged them with machinery, turning her into a cyborg.
Not long after finishing, Lobelia put down the pencil and pushed it forward, letting it role until it came to a stop by Saki's metal foot.
"You should try."
"To draw?" Saki takes the pencil and gets up from the sofa to move to her friend's side. It wasn't the first time Lobelia insisted she draw, it would usually end with the paper having another one of Saki's naked stickmen in bow ties. She just didn't have the confidence to draw.
Lobelia flips her sketchbook to a new page and waits anticipatingly for Saki to start.
"I don't know what to draw."
"Just draw the first thing that comes to mind! That isn't a stickman."
She hums, thinking. The first thing to come to her mind was Lobelia but she didn't want to attempt to draw her friend, who is also the person she likes knowing she wouldn't be able to draw her well. Perhaps it would pass as a purposely bad portrait, just not on purpose.
"I'm surprised you're actually taking the time to think of something instead of drawing a wonky circle and shoving my sketchbook back at me."
"I wish I could draw pretty things like you could."
"There was a time when I couldn't draw things the way I wanted to. But when you really want something you have to work towards it. Wasn't it the same when you first started creating things?"
She gently pulls the pencil out of Saki's grip and draws a stickman the way the cyborg would always do.
"It's just frustrating..."
"What was it you wanted to draw anyways?"
"You."
Lobelia's eyes widened in surprise, she felt the warmth of joy even if it was just Saki's intent to want to draw her.
"If you're ok with me most likely drawing you badly then—"
"Yes! I'd love to have a portrait of myself draw by you! I'm sure I'll love it no matter how it looks."
Saki smiled meekly, taking the pencil back. The way Saki loved art, it felt like how she loved her. If that was so, then maybe the drawing was a subtle act of confession?
