Myrtle was happy it was finally dark outside. I'll be back soon mom, Flint and Dawn, Myrtle told her mom and Flint and Dawn. Enjoy you're date Myrtle with Primrose, Lavender told Myrtle. I will mom, Myrtle replied. Have fun Myrtle, Dawn and Flint told Myrtle. Primrose and I will only be looking talking and looking at the stars, Myrtle told Flint and Dawn. 

Myrtle opened the door walked out and closed the door behind her then walked over to Primrose's house. While walking she quickly looked up at the sky and could see all of the stars which made her smile. Myrtle looked back down and carefully continued making her way towards Primrose's house since it was dark.

Myrtle finally made it to Primrose's house and she knocked two times on the door and waited. Primrose opened the door walked out and closed it behind her. Let's head behind my house now so we can look at the stars, Primrose told Myrtle. Alright, Myrtle replied. Myrtle and Primrose walked behind the house and lay down side by side and looked up to look at the stars.

I can see why you love looking at the stars every night, the sight is amazing to look at, Primrose told Myrtle. Exactly, Myrtle agreed. I've been doing this since I was six years old and it never gets boring, Myrtle told Primrose. I can see why, the stars are beautiful to look at, we could do this every night, Primrose told Myrtle. I'd love that since it will be great to have you to talk to, Myrtle told Primrose.

How are you and you're mother doing without Katniss? Myrtle questioned Primrose. We miss her and we are getting by with Gale's help, Primrose told Myrtle. I'm glad Gale's helping you and you're mom so you don't both starve to death, Myrtle told Primrose. How are you and you're family doing with food? Primrose asked Myrtle.

With my mom's job and how I hunt and get food we often do well and there are times like everyone else here we for for days without food which we are all used to, Myrtle told Primrose. It makes sense since we are in District 12 after all, Primrose said. It would be nice if all of us could eat everyday, Myrtle told Primrose. That would be nice, Primrose agreed.

Myrtle and Primrose then lay in silence still looking up at the stars until a cat meowed. It's only Buttercup, Primrose told Myrtle. Primrose and Myrtle both sat up. Buttercup rubbed against Primrose's arm then walked over to Myrtle and rubbed against her arm too. Myrtle smiled and pet Buttercup's head while Buttercup purred happily.

Buttercup then lay in between Myrtle and Primrose. It's obvious he missed being around you, Myrtle told Primrose. He likes being around you too, Primrose told Myrtle.  I know from how he acts with me, he's a good cat and I'm glad you found him, healed him and adopted him, Myrtle told Primrose. I couldn't just leave him to alone to die so that's how he became my pet, Primrose told Myrtle.

I'm still curious of how he is but I know that we will never know, Myrtle told Primrose. I wish I knew his age too but I don't know how many more years he'll be alive for, Primrose told Myrtle. I wouldn't be surprised if he probably outlives me because of the Hunger Games unless neither of us are ever reaped then we'll be here when Buttercup eventually dies of old age, Myrtle told Primrose.

I still fear losing you to the Hunger Games, Primrose told Myrtle. Even If I ever get reaped or volunteer for you I'll learn from my mentor and fight to win just so I can return back to you and back to my family, Myrtle promised Primrose. It would be great too if there was no more Hunger Games so the no one else has to doe for the disgusting Capital's enjoyment, Myrtle added. 

I wish for the same thing because we might lose Katniss and I don't want to end up losing you Primrose revealed. Hopefully for our sakes my name never gets reaped but if you get reaped I will be volunteering for you, Myrtle told Primrose. I just hope it never comes to that, Primrose told Myrtle. I also hope it never comes to that either, Myrtle told Primrose.

Buttercup moved to lay on Primrose and Primrose began to pet him. It's great that Buttercup is there for you, Myrtle told Primrose. Anyway I have to be getting back home for the night and Blue and I will see you tomorrow at the lake, Myrtle said. Alright I can't wait for tomorrow then, Primrose told Myrtle.

I'll also be bringing the stick that Blue loves so much to play fetch with him, Myrtle told Primrose. I'm looking forward to seeing Blue again, Primrose told Myrtle. He'll be excited to see you again, Myrtle told Primrose. I'll see you tomorrow afternoon then and goodnight Primrose, Myrtle added. Goodnight, Primrose told Myrtle. Myrtle got up and headed back home feeling excited for the next day for her and Primrose's second date.
