i woke up to kaison crying. i sat up and looked at jackie and she was stirring from her sleep.

"go back to sleep ma i got him" i whispered.

"you sure ?" she asked and i nodded kissing her cheek.

i got up and walked to his room picking him up.

"what's wrong handsome ?" i whispered rocking him in my arms.

"mommy he's always crying" lay said making me look back. and lay is a light sleeper so his cries tend to wake her up every time.

"ik its normal love. im sorry let's get you back to bed" i said grabbing her hand leading her back to her room. she got into bed and i tucked her in.

"mommy did i keep you up like this ?" she groaned making me chuckle.

"yes ma'am, you did. it's normal in all babies tho. maybe we should turn your tv a little bit more" i said.

she held onto her brothers fingers and her eyes began to shut. i looked down at him and he smiled at me making me chuckle.

looking back up at lay she was out. i kissed her goodnight and headed back to his room.

"now why are you still up son son ?" i asked rocking him in my arms. his eyes slowly closed. he definitely clingy cus he didn't need to be fed or changed he just needed my touch.

i kissed him goodnight to & laid him down on his back in his crib lightly. i walked back to our room and got into bed.

"thank you love" i heard making me smile.

"ofc as long as you get sleep i don't mind" i said as i wrapped my arms around her waist. she lightly rubbed my thighs. hopefully i can go back to sleep soon.

"did he wake up lay ?" she asked.

"mhm.. ionk why she such a light sleeper" i said.

"lol she get it from you. you barely sleep boo" she said making me laugh.

"you need melatonin ? cus you can never go back to sleep after being woken up" she asked.

i nodded and she grabbed it from her bedside table. she gave me some and i drank some water after cus ts is nasty.

"thank you" i mumbled & she smiled and nodded. i laid my head on my pillow and sighed. not long after i felt my eyes get heavy.

"good night, i love you boo" i heard.

"i love you more beautiful" i mumbled. after that i was gone lol. thank God for melatonin.

the next morning i woke up and jack was out of bed. i looked at the clock and it was 9:50 a.m. i walked to the bathroom and brushed my teeth and did my skincare routine.

i walked downstairs to the kitchen and lay was eating breakfast and jack was on her phone while she held kaison.

"morning" i said making her look up at me and smile.

"morning bae" she said.

"why you let me sleep so late ?" i asked as i put on my necklaces.

"because you were wore out and you needed the extra sleep" she said.

"morning pretty" i said kissing lay's cheek. she gave me a smile and went back to her show.

"what's going on with her ?" i asked jack.

"i have no idea but i think it has something to do with the fact that she can't sleep all through the night now and it's making her grouchy" jackie said.

"good morning my handsome boy" i cooed making him giggle. jackie handed him to me and he held onto my finger.

"my fav little person ever" i whispered to him.

i walked into the arena because today is my first day back at practice finally. lay is in school and jazz has business meetings today so i brought along a little guest.

covering his face cus it's cold i walked to the door and used my keycard and then walked to the locker room.

"guys im not pregnant don't play with me" ac said making them laugh.

i walked into the locker room and everyone looked at us making me smile.

"hey guys" i said.

"hey jack jack. omg she brought the baby" megan said excitedly. i smiled and nodded setting his carseat down at my locker.

"okay" i said picking up my phone i had to text jazz and let her know we made it safely.

"can i take him out jack ?" kb asked making me look up. i nodded and then looked down at my phone.

"you're so handsome yk that ?" kb cooed. after texting jazz i changed into my aces shirt and shorts and my basketball shoes.

"you practicing today jack ?" chels asked.

"yess finally. hopefully one of the assistants can keep an eye on kaison for me." i said.

"girl becky gone take care of that lol. she think that's her baby" kp said jokingly as she rolled her eyes.

"lol he basically is i just had him for her" i said as i lotioned my legs.

"okay my turn" a'ja said taking him out of kb's arms.

"so how's lay like being a sister ???" queen asked.

"she loves it. and i love how close they are already. but yk he cry in the middle of night every night and since she's a light sleeper it tend to wake her up every time"

"and lately she's been a little grouchy i think it's cus she can't sleep all through the night right now" i said.

"i just know a long nap coming for her when she get home" tip said and i nodded.

"hey gimme" becky said coming in taking him from a'ja who smacked her lips.

"i just got him" she said.

"and ?? what that got to do with me" she said grabbing his bottle. i giggled and shook my head handing her his pacifier.

"and hurry it up guys" she said before walking out with kaison in her arms.

"she so sassy" kiah said making us laugh and nod.

"ionk why she rushing us it's not like she gone pay attention to us now that she got the baby" syd said rolling her eyes.

"ouu jack the body snapped back boo" tip said smirking at me.

"lol thank you boo. still getting it to were it was before" i said.

afterwards we walked onto the court and stretched, warmed up, and got some shots up and then we started practice. & yes it's kicking my ahh just like i thought it would.

"say let's get it together mommy" i heard making me look over at becky who was paying attention to kaison.

"lol don't dtm im getting there" i joked back.

"jack thank God for my godson. he done made you thick" a'ja said slapping my butt.

"girl boo i was thick before i had him let's not" i said giggling.

"so how is she ?" she asked making me look down at my private.

"oh her ?? ohh girl i was confused as h*ll ngl. lol okay still a little pain but it's nothing i can't handle" i said.

"goodie. im grateful for you jack and i really do appreciate you blessing me with my godson" she said making me smile.

"aww i appreciate you a'ja. so this mean you wanna babysit ???" i asked making her lightly push my shoulder.

"im always down to babysit him" she said making me chuckle.

"becky you're not looking" syd said making us look up.

"yeah ik ion have time for your foolishness syd. im busy" she said as she rocked kaison in her arms.

"she don't even fwu nomo fr" a'ja said and i shook my head agreeing.

i am grateful for my team especially becky. ik that if i wanna practice or workout she'll make sure kaison is well taken care of just so i can work my body. and he's gonna grow up with so much love with so many aunties that love him.
