i plopped down on the couch and sighed grabbing my laptop. being my own boss is exhausting asf but im grateful for this little life.

but i always try to get work done ahead of time especially in my free time. i looked up and watched as my daughter colored in her coloring book.

not gone lie finding out i was pregnant was one of the most shocking moments of my life lol especially as a stud. but it showed me exactly why ion fw men at all.

i began typing on my laptop something that really be draining tf out of me but hey ik a lot of people pray to be in my situation.

"mommy" i heard making me look up.

"yes baby" i said lightly.

"can i have strawberries please ?" she asked making me nod.

"ofc" i said setting my laptop down beside me. i got up and walked to the kitchen getting them out of the fridge. i was eating this and watermelon a lot during my pregnancy so i think that's why she eat em so much.

she loves watermelons but since it's out of season she been eating strawberries. i cut them up and put em into her bowl.

"thank youu" her little voice said as i sat them down in front of her.

"yww love" i said. i heard someone knock on the door making me look at the door in confusion.

i walked to the door and looked through the peep hole where i saw my hg tiffany. i smiled and unlocked the door.

"HEY FRIEND" she yelled hugging me.

"hey tip" i said letting her in.

"tete" leyah said running to hug her.

"hey girl.. you been good" tip said.

"mhm always" she smiled.

"wassup ?" i asked.

"dang i can't come see my hg and niece" she said making me laugh.

"you right my bad" i said as she plopped down on the couch.

"soo how'd the session counseling go ??" she asked making me look up at her in confusion.

"tip i counsel almost 7 days a week and i have more than 3 patients a day please tell me who you talm bout" i said.

"my teammate.. jackie ?? didn't you see her this week ??" she asked.

"ohh yeah her. yeah it went good. she opened up about what she was going through and we really hit it off".

"i never thought she was going through sum like that but im glad i get to help her get back to her normal self" i said.

"yeahh she been going through it fr. its kind of shocking cus kb would never do that or at least thats what everyone thought" she said.

"wait her ex girlfriend is yall teammate ??" i asked.

"mhm but you didn't hear that from me. i didn't know she didn't tell you that part" she said and i nodded.

"jazz that watch is nice" she said making me look down at the custom made rolex that shined off the living room light.

"preciate it twin" i said and she nodded.

"i wanna play basketball too." leyah said as tip bounced her on her legs.

"i can't wait to come to your games. im gonna coach you and you're gonna be amazing" tip said.

"and jazz you done made me mad" she making me look up with a confused look on my face.

"d*** what i do ?" i said.

"bad word mommy" leyah said.

"im so sorry baby girl" i said looking at her then back at tip.

"why you didn't enter the draft after college ?? you was tough fr" she said.

"cus i had just came off my second acl injury on my good knee. ian wanna put myself through that playing pro" i said shrugging.

"well you really doing this life stuff" she said.

"preciate and you too. i need you to stack up on clothes tho cus ain't no way they sold out the hoodies and ian even get to cop one yet" i said.

"so how was your first counseling session ??" a'ja asked.

"it was good. opening up to her felt like weights lifted off my shoulder. it's like she understood me" i said.

"aww that's amazing. i love that for you bookie. you gone be good" she said.

"okay we listen and we don't judge" i said making her look at me and nod for me to continue.

"she's a stud. a'ja she so fine im talm bout locs, tatted, pearly white teeth."

"and not only is she a psychologist but she's a businesswoman and entrepreneur" i said.

"omg here you go.. jack you're fresh out of an abusive relationship" she said shaking her head.

"a'ja you're judging.. we listen and we don't judge" i said.

"oh yeah my bad. i think you needa leave the studs alone boo" she said.

"no i was thinking the same thing lol." i said laughing.

"but how come you never talked to tyrese ?? everyone was talm bout how he had a crush on you" she said.

"idk honestly i didn't even know he has a crush on me but when i found out it was too late he was already in a relationship" i said shrugging.

"but we scheduled for once a week.. every wednesday" i said.

"period. im so proud of you" she said.

"thank you boo. i was so nervous but like talking to her really made me forget how anxious i was. she was so patient and gentle with me" i said.

"ohh lord.. my bestie falling again. STAND UP" she said making me laugh.

"don't dtm" i said shaking my head.

"it just amazes me how fast you fall in love jacquelyn" she said.

"h** don't call me that" i said staring at her.

"ohh my fault" she said laughing.

"bless tip and her friend" i said.

"jackie.. you're sick" she said shaking her head making me laugh.

"ohh my fault" i said giggling.

"so what was kb mostly mad about in yall relationship ?" a'ja asked.

"take a wild guess" i said.

"omg she was mad about you dancing on me ?? we're best friends tho like what ?" she said. i could see the tone in facial expression and hear it in her voice as well.

"exactly like be fr. now see if it was someone random or another stud understandable but my best friend is crazy" i said.

"sick" she mumbled.

"girl kb was fighting a d*** demon. had to be cus this girl would literally black out and she would like hold her temples and talk to herself".

"me personally i think she's schizophrenic but i didn't wanna tell that because she would like twist my words and say that i was calling her crazy and sh** like that" i said.

"she must be hearing voices in her head" a'ja said and i nodded.

"so how are the bruises ?" she asked me.

"healing.. slowly but surely lol." i said.

"does becky know ??"

"no and we're not gonna tell her." i said sternly and she nodded.

"but guess what i got ??" she said making me look up from my phone.

"what ?" i asked.

"VODKKAA" she yelled making me laugh and shake my head.

"a'ja please lol.." i said.

"what ?? you never come out nomo so why not have fun at the house" she said.

i shook my head and giggled. she's right tho i never go out anymore and it's kind of depressing if you ask me but im just tryna take the time to heal mentally and physically.

"and don't get attached to that stud either" she said making me roll my eyes.

"im not and if i do that's fine cus im grown" i said shrugging.

"girl you ain't tired of studs ?? like she ain't just beat yo a** everyday ?" a'ja said making me stand up.

"first of all that was kb. not everyone like that mind you jazz a whole psychiatrist. and second of all don't worry about me".

"mind yo d*** business a'ja cus my relationship don't got sh** to do with you and so don't bring it up. meanwhile bam out cheating on yo dumb a** but you to worried about me and wtf i got going on to see ts" i said making her stare at me.

i could see her facial expression change and it instantly made me feel bad because deep down ik a'ja cares about me.

"im sorry i didn't mean to say that. its just you worried about me being in another abusive relationship when that's not gonna happen" i said.

"yeah im sorry i care about my best friend and her life. but i really appreciate you letting me know about bam" she said grabbing her phone and keys.

"a'ja don't leave. im sorry bro i just-

"im good asf you got it" she said.

"stop why you tryna leave" i said blocking the door.

"jackie can you move ?? ts corrupt me. i gotta go check bam about ts" she said pushing me out of the way.

"a'ja im sorry" i said shaking my head as she aggressively walked to her car.

i sighed and closed the door locking it. i grabbed my phone and walked to my room plopping down on my bed. im finna just take my a** to sleep.

lately i been hurting a lot of folks feelings and ion even be meaning to. im still very much into the beginning of a healing process.
