i walked through the front door. i closed the door and looked at my watch shaking my head.

"bae wya ?" i asked cus it was super quiet in here.

"kitchen" i heard. i walked to the kitchen where i saw lay sitting at the table doing a puzzle. jackie can around the island hading me a bouquet of red roses.

i smiled and shook my head i could feel my cheeks get hot.

"girl what heck" i said with a smile.

"i want you to know this marriage will always be 50/50. and you deserve flowers just as much as i do. i see how hard you work and you're such an amazing mom and wife and we see you" she said making me shake my head.

"bye i've never gotten flowers before" i said exhaling.

"i know and you deserve them. im so proud of you baby and ik that life is so hard but you gone get through it and i will always be here" she said.

"lol not you finna make me cry" i said wiping my tears. i hugged her tightly. this is something i didn't know i needed fr.

and it goes to show that jackie does care and she pay attention to the little things.

"it's okay to cry bae.. you been through so much i don't want you to hide your emotions and feelings cus they matter" jackie said.

"im sorry i been emotional asf lately lol. i love em so much and i appreciate you mama. this means the world to me" i said as she rocked us back and forth.

"i love forever & we gone get through wtv we have to together. you don't have to do this alone" she said wiping my tears.

"i love you more beautiful" i said as we kissed.

"ouuu lala" we heard making me chuckle.

"pretty roses for the best mommy" she said making me look at her. i walked over to her and picked her up hugging her.

"you're so perfect my baby" i said kissing her cheek.

"you guys bae cried" jackie said putting her phone in my face.

"yall i just been emotional lately cus life is life-ing and i never got flowers before. she's so sweet guys" i said kissing jackie's cheeks.

"period, make sure yall surprise yall wives/husbands with flowers cus they deserve em to" jackie said making me smile and nod.

"thank you mama. i love em" i said as i bit down on her bottom lip admiring her.

"anyways, yall jazz acting like she tryna fuhh some some" she said making me laugh.

"yeah definitely beautiful" i said shaking my head.

"bae have you seen my necklace ??" jazz asked walking into the bathroom as i wrapped a towel around my body.

"which one ?" i asked.

"the one with lay's name on it" she said looking around for it.

"yeah it's on my side of the bed" i said.

"bet thank you" she said quickly.

"wait where you going looking at fine ?" i asked with a smirk.

"meeting" she said making me nod. i took the time to admire her. she was wearing a black button up shirt, dress pants & her black nike shoes.

she left the first button unbuttoned showing a tattoo that read "kalis walker" with a halo and her birthday to her death date.

"BAE you good ?" she asked snapping me out of my thoughts.

"ohh yeah. you look good" i said.

"thank you love. i should be done in less than 3 hours" she said looking at her watch. she put on her belt and then her necklace and earrings.

i finished drying off and got dressed. i grabbed my lotion and walked out of the bathroom plopping down on our bed.

"okay i gotta go so i'll text you when i get there" she said leaning down to pep my lips.

"okay i love you and be safe" i said.

"i love you more and i will" she said grabbing her phone and keys. i walked out of our room and lay was still sleeping in her bed.

afterwards i decided to call a'ja and tell her to come over cus she rarely ever talk about her and damian anymore.

10 minutes later she knocked so i said come in lightly.

"hey guh, what's wrong with jazz ?? she done pulled up out this driveway like she p*ssed" a'ja said making me laugh.

"lol nothing she's otw to a business meeting. and yk she got a heavy i done told her about driving fast" i said.

"a'ja wtf is that ?" i asked looking at the diamond crested ring that shined off the living room light.

"ohh- she stopped and smirked at me making me gasp.

"omg he proposed ??? and i didn't know ?" i yelled in lowercase letter as a'ja liked to say lol.

"yeah he wanted it to be a surprise and only my parents knew" she said.

"omg im so happy 4 u. i get to go to a wedding that's not my own" i said excitedly.

"yeah but you're still helping me plan tho right ?" she asked.

"ofc lol.. im so happy for you bestie. you deserve it and someone like him" i said.

"thank you bestie" she smiled and i nodded.

"now who tf knew you was romantic ??" she said making me mug her.

"girl don't do to much" i joked making her laugh.

"i mean i am.. and jazz has been dealing with a lot and i realized she's never gotten them before so i decided to surprise her. she loved em"

"and she cried" i said.

"aww period. yall are my favv ever" she said making me smile.

"thank you.. now let's talk about that ring that look expensive as h*ll" i said making her chuckle.

"yeah it's so gorgeous and it definitely fits me" she said staring at me.

"it is. now ik the wedding ring gone be beautiful." i said.

"so i been wondering when did you find out you liked girls ??" a'ja asked making me chuckle.

"ion even know but when i was dating jay he use to joke about me being gay cus i use to like stare at girls and sh**. me personally i thought i was a girls girl until i met kb"

"and ik then but a little after he died i was going in between girls and boys and they never worked out" i said.

"no the way you flirt with girls is just like" she said making me laugh.

"see now michael b jordan baby he can get it" i said shaking my head.

"b**** please" a'ja said as we laughed.

"im so deadahh lol." i said.

"you wanna go sit by the pool ???" a'ja asked and i nodded. i didn't wanna wake up lay anyway.

"where's lay ?" she asked.

"girl lay sleeping lol. my girl said she wore out" i said.

we sat down and dipped our feet in the pool. and ofc took cute pics and stuff. i need jazz to come back home tho and ASAP cus yeahh.
