"girl you scared the h*ll outta me" i said holding my chest.

i heard noises and its 2 a.m. and not gone lie i was ready to pull the trigger. jackie looked at me and chuckled.

"sorry ma i couldn't sleep" she said and i nodded.

"youn get tired of scaring me ?? yk i got bad nerves" i said shaking my head.

"im sorry i thought you'd still be sleeping i came in so quiet.. or at least i thought" she said looking down at the gun that was in my right hand.

"and put that away" she grabbing it walking to my room. she put it in the lock box in my closet and sighed.

"mommy i heard noises" lay said coming into my room as she rubbed her eyes.

"it's just jackie my love. she scared me too" i said side eyeing her.

"im sorry pretty girl.. let's get you back to bed" jackie said picking her up. i exhaled and grabbed my laptop plopping down on my bed.

i've never been a sleep person fr and now that im up im not gone be able to go back to sleep. a few minutes later jack walked in.

she got into bed beside and she interlocked our fingers.

"more wedding planning ?" she mumbled into my shoulder.

"mhm i can't go back to sleep" i said.

"she sleep ?" i asked.

"mhm as soon as she touched that pillow lol" she said making me chuckle.

"so did you give birth naturally ?? or did you have a c-section ?" she asked making me look over at her.

"naturally. ts hurt like h*ll and at the moment i had wish i had taken the epidural but its been 5 years and in a short amount of time i realized I would do over again if i had to" i said.

"aww so that means you're gonna have our first kid together ??" she asked making me stare at her.

"h*ll no, you got it boo! you need to have the experience" i said making her roll her eyes jokingly with a smile.

"and when they put her on my chest ik it was gone be forever because despite being attached to her while pregnant i planned to put her for adoption"

"and not gone lie i was being selfish cus ian wanna deal with the fact that i had a kid from rape but once she was laid on my chest i knew i was gone love her forever and i did end up changing my mind" i explained.

"i love that. even tho she came in the worst way possible God knew you needed her. to have someone you'd have forever and for her too" jack said making me nod.

"he did.. pregnancy flew everything was good up until she was actually born she couldn't breathe on her own so she was NICU for almost 3 months" i said.

"ohh so she been a fighter" jack said.

"definitely. honestly i think it's genetics cus my mama told me i came out the same way almost died at birth" i said.

"she would've loved her little grand baby so much" she said.

"mhm" i said.

"i can't wait to see you pregnant" i smirked making her lightly smack my shoulder.

"aht don't do that lol. im already scared" she said.

"yeah and my advice to you is.. get the epidural" i said making her laugh. i stared at the engagement that sat on her left finger.

"i can't wait to marry you." she whispered making me look at her.

"i can't wait to marry you my pretty girl" i said kissing her cheek.

i waited outside the school for lay. jazz had a meeting business so ofc i had to come MY daughter no problem.

"jack jack" i heard making me look up. i saw lay run over to me making me pick her up.

"i missed you beautiful.. how was school ?" i asked buckling her up.

"it was good.. we got to paint" she said excitedly making me smile at her. i've known lay for almost 3 years and the way she 100% has all of jazz's features makes me happy.

her long curly hair sat against her hips and she had light brown eyes and plump lips.

"you look just like mommy girl" i said making her smile. i shut the door and walked to the drivers side putting my seatbelt on.

when jazz and i first started dating and i finally saw her bd for the first time lay definitely looked like him more than she did jazz. i never told her that cus i mean yeah lol.

"what you want to eat babygirl ?" i asked looking into the rear view mirror where i saw her sleeping. lord school done wore my baby out.

i just decided go home and put her in bed we would get food when she wakes up.

"hey baby" i said walking in with a sleeping lay in my arms.

"hey ma. thank you for getting her for me" she whispered.

"ofc yk i got you" i whispered back. i walked to the room and laid her down before going to sit beside jazz.

"another tat ?" i asked noticing it was freshly done.

"mhm i was craving it real bad" she said making me chuckle and nod.
