"mommy  wakey wakey" lay said bouncing on my stomach.

i sat up and looked around cus ion remember going to sleep. i looked at my phone and it was 3:45.

"lay what have you been doing ?" i asked looking at her.

"word searches. you fell asleep mommy and you looked so tired but so cute" she said making me laugh.

"shoot" i whispered.

"someone was at the door also" she said trying to get down.

"woah woah what ? who was at the door ?" i asked putting her back onto my stomach.

"idk i didn't answer the door but he was looking in" she said shrugging.

"he ?" i asked.

"mhm" she said focusing on her word search

"baby.. can you explain him to me" i said lightly taking her book.

"he was tall.. really tall. dark oh and wore something around his head." she said making me stare at her.

imma beat bam a** fr. he must have been looking for a'ja or jackie.

"okay i appreciate it love." i said giving it back to her.

a few seconds later i heard a knock on the door. i got up holding lay on my hip & i hope it's not bam. i looked out and saw a'ja and jack.

"hey guys come in" i said letting them in.

"hey ma" i said pecking jackie's lips.

"hey love.. & hey to my little princess" she said making lay giggle.

"how are you a'ja ?" i asked sitting down.

"okay still just have this uneasy feeling but i been attached at the hip to jack" she said making us laugh.

"it's okay i don't mind boo" jackie said.

"so come to find out bam showed up here" i started.

"are you serious ??" a'ja asked irritatedly.

"bro i swear he like sick in the head. and why was he over here anyway yall don't even know each other" jackie said.

"exactly, but i think he was looking for you or a'ja. and i had fell asleep and i had no idea and lay was like someone came and she explained what he looked like" i said.

"did he knock lay ?" jackie asked.

"mhm, but mommy says to never open the door for anyone i don't know. he would look into the window" she said nonchalantly.

"and he said that he knows jack jack" she added.

"just wait, i thought i made it clear for him to leave a'ja alone and now he tryna come for through yall and that's a no no" jack said.

"im so proud of you baby for not opening the door." i said kissing her cheek.

"i cannot believe i was so oblivious to the monster that he is" a'ja said huffing.

"stop it's not your fault. you were just in love and bam was hiding behind a facade and it never came out until he cheated and he realized you wasn't gonna take him back" jack said.

"right, and he done showed his a** now and finna be looking stupid" i said.

"mama no bad words" lay said.

"oops sorry mama" i said.

"jeez" a'ja mumbled.

"you're fine girl don't let him bother you. he only did that cus he had the advantage" i said.

"have you told damian ??" i asked.

"no.. im scared" she mumbled.

"a'ja bam beat the f- mm he hurt you.." jack said changing her language cus lay was in here.

"and he should know. bam don't get a right to hurt you and not pay the consequences" she added.

"but he kinda did tho.. you gave him a good but whooping" she said as we all laughed lightly.

i do hope that a'ja tell damian or at least it get back to the heats cus he gotta pay for what he did to her.

i came to a'ja airbnb cus i just finished practicing and ik she's probably overthinking right now. i walked in and she was in the kitchen.

"omg jack.. you scared me" she said jumping as she held her chest.

"a'ja what did i tell you about leaving your doors unlocked. he could get in here just like that" i said.

"sorry.. my mind has been everything" she said exhaling.

"no don't cry boo.. you're okay and yk we not gone let him hurt you again" i said hugging her tightly.

"thank you jack.. for everything. for being here and beating him cus he hurt me. im so grateful to have you" she mumbled.

"ofc yk i got you. i told you if he played i would beat his a** and that's what i did cus ion play about my best friend" i said.

"we need to get a restraining order a'ja. if you can't sleep or eat then you need to get it" i explained.

"and tell them what ? he cheated and now he won't leave me alone" she said wiping her tears.

"no tell them he cheated and he won't leave you alone and that he hit you. a'ja he HIT you and that's illegal" i said.

"yeah.. i just need time to think and get my mind together" she said shaking her head.

"hey you wanna come to practice with me ?? i think the girls will be so happy to see you and basketball makes you happy" i asked.

"yes.. i would love that" she smiled at me.

"good now come.. let's go eat on me. we not let no triffling a** nigga bother you and ruin your fun" i said grabbing her hand.

"can we get cheese cake too ?" she asked.

"anything you want ma" i said smiling as she excitedly clapped.

we took an uber to the restaurant and found a table in the back. come to find out jazz may be able to get her business back so she's been doing a lot of work.

"does it look bad ??" a'ja asked turning her face.

"it's noticeable, but if you don't want it to be seen you can just cover it with makeup" i said as we ordered our food.

"foul" she mumbled.

"mhm & that's why i kneed him in his sh** real hard" i said making her giggle.

"so damian ???" i asked.

"we were on ft last night and i was so close to telling him but i chickened out.. i just don't want it to get out of hand" she said.

"a'ja he needs to know. let it get out of hand he need to pay for what he did to you. and not just hitting you but the emotional stress he's caused you. damian deserves to know boo" i said.

"you're right. i'll tell him later tonight when he calls" she said.

a few minutes later our food came. i really do hope that a'ja tells damian soon he deserves to know. she need to get a restraining order against bam cus he weird like real life.
