i opened the door for jazz and let her in. she's meeting my sister for the first time which is crazy cus we aren't official yet but we both know we want this relationship.

"well im a psychiatrist so yk after her last relationship she started coming to counseling and i was her counselor so we would see each other every week"

"thank you sis" i smiled and she nodded staring at my chest.

"what ?" i asked looking down then back at her.

"nothing just noticing the fact that that's my shirt" she said making me laugh.

"sorry, you got all the cute clothes" i said.

"don't worry she be stealing my clothes too" jazz said making my jaw drop.

"wait so she showed up here ??" jackie asked me as i finished cooking.

"yup.. she apologized and wanted me back in her life and i really wanted to beat her a** but lay was sitting on the living room floor coloring" i said.

"so she just think that after 3 years, after what she and her best friend did she can just show up here and apologize ?? it's not that simple" she said shaking her head.

"exactly like she think like just because what she did wasn't as bad as what he did she should be forgiven" i told her.

"and no tf she shouldn't. because she it might as well be. she sat there and watched you get raped and she did absolutely nothing about it. it's like she wanted it to happen" jack told me.

"uhh let's see.. so i remember waking up in the bathroom. my pants were unbuttoned and i was just in a bra so i get up and call my best friend and she ain't answer"

"so my friend called me and she was like wya like you ain't text me that you made it home so i told her i woke up on the bathroom floor of the building they had the party."

"she came and got me and i told her about how my pants were unbuttoned and my shirt was missing. so a few days later she get in his car cus he taking her to a job interview and she found my shirt in his backseat"

"long story short, it was my shirt and i found out i was pregnant so then admitted to raping me cus i threatened to get a dna test for it" i said.

"fawking sick" jackie said shaking her head.

"definitely, but he was like he never meant for it to happen and stuff but like getting me drunk and then doing that while i was intoxicated says otherwise" i said.

"and you should've turned his sick a** in" she said as she put lay in her high chair.

"and now he somewhere trying to find a job. i just love the way God works" i said making her smile and nod as i put lay's food in front of her.

"period!" she said making lay giggle.

i handed jack her plate and sat down exhaling making lay giggle again. she's so goofy and i love cus seeing my daughter smile and happy will always be the best part of my life.
