Happier

I saw her smile,
she’s so beautiful.
The way she laughs
makes me laugh too.
I love it that way.

I can see that she’s happy
being with her loved ones.
The aura of glee is there,
around them who enjoy it.
They’re complete.

I wish I’m with them
to make her smile too
but I’m afraid to give it a try.
My confidence is low.
I don’t want to ruin their moment.

I'm just here watching them from afar.
I’m contented with what I’m doing
because she’s happier
being with her family.
Which I failed to be part of.
