Vineet opens his eyes with a warm touch on his face. He finds his mother sitting beside him on the bed and putting napkins dripped in cold water on his head as he was burning with fever when Shakshi came to call him for breakfast.

Finding him awake, Shakshi sighs in relief.

''Kitni baar kaha hai tension matt liya kar par tum maanoge nahi na, dekha aab bukhar aa gaya!'' She scolded him.

Vineet lowered his gaze, his mothers thinks he was in office but the reality is something else and the reason he got a fever is he's not having a good sleep from the past three nights and his tension for Avantika.

''Main thik hoon mom, don't worry.'' He assures his mother who scolded him in return.

''Haan dikh raha hai mujhe kitna thik hai tu. Jab janta hai stress lene se tabiyat bigad jaati hai toh kyun leta hai, kaam itna bhi important nahi hai ki tu uske chakkar mei beemar hi ho jaaye!'' His mother scolded him, Vineet remained silent.

Shakshi cups his face, finding him forgetting with his thoughts.

''Kyun itni tension lete ho? Tujhe pata hai, tu tension mei bilkul aacha nahi lagta, haste raha kar.'' She patted his head.

Vineet smiles at his mother's words and shakes his head.

His mother asks him to take a rest and leaves the room.

Vineet checks his phone, it has 28 missed calls from Anamika and 3 from Sachin. His heart suddenly took pace seeing the missed calls.

Why did she call so many times?

Has anything happened there?

Several thoughts run in his mind. He immediately dials Anamika's number who picked the call in the last ring.

''Vineet kahan they tum? Main kab se tumhe call kar rahi hoon, ek baar bhi reply nahi kiya tumne. Na landline utha raha hai koi. Ho kahan tum?'' Anamika showered him with her questions.

''Kuch hua kya? Main busy tha thoda aur phone room mei reh gaya tha. Itne calls kiye hai, kya baat hai?'' He asks, trying to sound normal.

''Kuch thik nahi hai, tum jaldi sey Mummy Papa ke saath yahan aa jao.'' She requested, making him more tense.

''Hua kya hai?'' He asks again, descending down the bed immediately and leaves the room.

''Tum bas aa jao jaldi sey, main phone pe nahi bata sakti kuch.'' She says and cuts the call not waiting for his reply.

Vineet was left worried. He immediately moves to his parents room and explains the situation to them. They grew worried as well but left the house not wasting even a minute.

Vineet and his parent's reach Sachin's house receiving an urgent call from Anamika. Vineet was tensed as the girl hadn't told them anything but just asked them to come asap, he wonders if something has happened.

He parked the car and rang the doorbell. A maid opens the door for them and welcomes them inside. The view in the hall surprised the Singhania's.

The Modi's were laughing and congratulating each other, sweets going hand in hand, Sachin was just standing at a corner and watching them all with a smile.

Anamika saw them standing at the door and rushed to them. She was smiling and seemed happy.

Vineet asks her about the matter.

''Chalo toh sahi andar sab pata chal jaayega.'' She replies while pulling them inside.

Kokila and other family members smile ear to ear seeing them. Vineet was surprised to see a happy Kokila. He wondered if he had ever seen the lady smiling in past years.

Kokila pulls Shakshi in a warm hug and congratulates her which only confuses them.

''Baat kya hai akhir Kokila ji? Anamika ne phone pe bhi kuch bataya nahi sahi se aab aap badhaai de rahi hai, kya baat ho gayi?'' Shakshi questions.

Kokila smiles at her question,''baat hi itni khushi ki hai. Maaf kijiyega humne aap sabko yun pareshan kiya par ye baat hum mil ke hi batana chahte the.'' Kokila laid her point.

''Kaunsi baat?'' Vineet asks impatiently.

''Yahi ki aab tumhe jara savdhaan rehna padega!" Kokila spoke gazing at him, Vineet gave her a look.

''Matlab!?" Anupam questions, they are still puzzled with their words and behaviour.

Sachin's father came forward and kept his hand around Anupam's shoulder.

''Matlab ye ki bhai saab, aab hamare ghar ek nanha mehman aane wala hai bahut jald!! Bhai saab, aap Nana banne wale hai!!” Parag, Sachin's father, announces the news to them.

Vineet and his parents were left happily surprised such that they couldn't utter a word for a moment. Vineet just stares at his sister in awestruck, he finds it hard to believe the news.

Anamika nudges him when she finds him.standing like a statue. Vineet looked at her, he had tears in his eyes, a smile on his lips. Anamika smiles at him while holding his hand though he wanted to embrace him but doesn't seem appropriate in front of her mother.

Avantika headed to Vineet when he didn't approach her. She gazes at Vineet with a wide smile on her face. Vineet pulls her in his arms, he strokes her head lovingly and pecks her head.

''I'm so happy for you Bacha!!'' He exclaims, cupping her face. Avantika nodded through tears and kissed his palms.

Shakshi and Anupam smile at their kids. Meanwhile Kokila announces to perform a puja the other day and insists on Vineet's parents to stay with them till the other day but they denied instead the ask Vineet to accompany them while they'll join them the other day. Kokila agreed so did Vineet, who legally got a chance to be with his wife, he smirked at Kokila.

After a moment, they settled to have some tea and sweets. The family enjoyed the moment being together while Vineet couldn't stop himself from glancing at his sister every now and then and Anamika was constantly gazing at Vineet's happy face.

Time passes, Anupam and Shakshi take their leave. Other family members disperse to their rooms after having dinner.

Anamika's room

Vineet was lying on the bed with closed eyes, thoughts running in his mind. He was happy for his sister, he just realized how big she has grown up. She's going to be a mother now. It seems like yesterday when they used to fight for every single thing and today she would be a mother, taking care of her kids. Vineet smiles at his thoughts.

Anamika, who's lying beside him while staring at him all the while finds him smiling. She keeps her hand on his chest, Vineet turns to her, feeling her touch.

Anamika snuggles to him and wraps her arms around him.

''Where'er you lost baby?? Jabse aaye ho kahin khoye se laag rahe ho, kya baat hai?'' She questions,caressing his cheek with her thumb.

Vineet shook his head negatively,''kuch nahi!! Bas soch raha tha chijein kitni jaldi badal jaati hai. Kuch din pehle tak hum dono har choti chij ke liye ladte the aur aab dekho, usko baby hone wala. Dekhte hi dekhte kitna kuch badal gaya na! Mujhe samajh hi nahi aa raha main kaise react karu par main bahut khush hoon Jaan!! I am so happy!!!'' He exclaims and hugs her tightly, Anamika holds him and caresses his back.

He's lacking in words and it's totally acceptable. She pecks on his cheek.

''It's okay!! Kabhi kabhi hum apni feeling jahir hi nahi kar paate, it's totally fine.'' She told him.

They remain in the same position for many moments until Anamika breaks the silence with a question which first surprised him and later he gave her a mischievous look.
