ONCE YOU GOT HOME FROM THE GROCERY STORE, THE DAY WENT ON NORMALLY BUT SOMETHING INSIDE YOU STILL FELT LIKE SOMETHING WASN'T RIGHT. Maybe it was because they have mentioned you being a slut when clearly you and Hitoshi weren't even dating or maybe it was the fact that they said something about your parents. You went to bed that night with a heavy heart and even though Hitoshi and Eri tried their best to cheer you up—and of course it worked a little—you were still down in the dumps the next day. But other than your ever troubling thoughts, it was also a little too hot today.

"Am I the only one dying of the heat?" Hitoshi whined as he was sprawled out on the couch, Eri sitting on the floor in front of the couch while the fan faced both of them directly. "No..." you answered while you walked down the stairs, your face being cooled down by a small toy fan in your hand. "I am also dying of heat..." It was only nine in the morning but the sun was literally burning all of you to toast or maybe even human barbeques. Naomi whose hair is now put in a bun walked in the living room with a tray filled with homemade popsicles.

"Thanks mom!" Eri jumped up and grabbed one for herself and one for Hitoshi. You walked closer to Naomi who had a wide smile on her face as you grabbed one for yourself. "Remember these?" she asked while you rolled your eyes, laughing lightly. "Yeah, I do mom. You always made these at the old apartment..." Naomi gave a warm smile while you turned around, walking over to the chair near the sofa before firmly placing your butt on the cushions.

"Can we go swimming today?" Eri questioned as she tilted her head, biting off the last bits of her popsicle. "Unless you want to go to a public pool with lots of pee, people, and probably male ejaculation juices, sure... I would love to go!" you sarcastically responded which made everyone in the room look at you with concern. You removed the popsicle from your mouth and mouthed a small 'what'. Naomi cleared her throat before awkwardly laughing. "I guess that's... something..."

Standing up, you finished your popsicle before going up the stairs again. "Where are you going, (your name)?" Hitoshi asked while he sat up, wiping the sweat that was dripping on the side of his forehead. "I'm getting the inflatable pool..."

"Since when did we have an inflatable pool?" Naomi showed a confused expression.

"...We just do. Don't ask."

For a whole hour, you, Eri, and Hitoshi managed to make a small pool in your front yard, the sprinklers were turned on and the hose that filled the inflatable pool had just stopped dispensing water. Eri brought in her bath toys along with plenty of rubber ducks before asking you to put her inside. Once that was done, you looked up at the blue sky; staring at the fluffy white clouds before sighing. "Don't you think your father is going to complain about the water bills—?" Naomi smirked as she leaned on the front door's frame, crossing her arms on her chest. "Yes he is. But he can't do anything about it so, he better suck it up, buttercup!"

"Is that a mom thing or is that your family catchphrase?" Hitoshi managed to ask as he walked outside with only his shorts on, walking closer and finally going in the pool; relieved that the heat had died down from the water. You whistled lowly as you covered your eyes with your hand, shaking your head, trying to avoid seeing Hitoshi's toned torso and stomach. "The view is hurting my eyes," you commented as Hitoshi chortled. "Does it really hurt that bad? You might as well go back to your room then, (your name)."

"Touché~" you tried to walk away but he grabbed your arm from his position. "What are you doing?"

"Where are you going?" he raised an eyebrow, looking at you with a serious expression. "To my room...? Didn't you just tell me to go?" you tilted your head innocently while he rolled his eyes, a big gust of air going out of his system. "You know, I hate how serious you are with things like this..." Before you could say anything back, the male had pulled you in using the strength he had with his one arm, catching you a bit off guard. You fell to the pool and glared at the male who was now smirking at you, your black hair strands dripping with a bit of water.

"I hate you..." you whispered as you splashed water on his face. "Oh, bring it on!" Hitoshi shouted as he tackled you and pushing you down to the water, forgetting that you were practically part dolphin now because of swimming. You managed to break free from his grasp, pushing him into the water instead. Naomi watched as the two of you continued to tackle one another in one side of the pool while Eri played with her rubber ducks on the other. She sighed as she bit her lower lip, looking down at her own feet on the porch.

But Naomi looked up to see that the laughter died down when a black car parked right behind theirs. And that could only mean one thing. As expected, a girl with dark violet hair walked out of the car and stared at the four of them staring at her. "Wow, I didn't expect such an audience..." Yshi whispered as she finally walked closer to them. "I wasn't expecting a visit today, Ms. Yshi?" you tilted your head as the two of you finally stopped tackling and drowning one another.

"And you two are getting closer to one another quicker than I expected too..." Yshi retorted as you held back a blush, quickly moving away from Hitoshi who was already bright pink. "Anyway, I'll be talking to your mother who is waiting for me at the front door." Yshi pointed at the door and both of you whipped your heads to Naomi who was giving the two of you a small wave. "Both of you behave now~" Yshi cooed as she walked in, Naomi dragging her by the arm.

"Woah, slow down there, tiger!" Yshi warned. "You're going to dig your claws in my skin."

"If you don't quicken your pace then this tiger is going to end up clawing your face..." Naomi hissed as she continued to drag the taller female, seeing that she is wearing heels. "Gee, you're the one that wanted me here and now you talk about clawing my face?" Yshi frowned. "I am hurt, Naomi."

"Oh shut up...I'm here to talk about another thing..."

"I know..." Yshi sighed. "Do you have the stuff?"

"You bet."

✧ ✧ ✧

NAOMI AND YSHI WERE NOW IN SHOTA'S OFFICE ROOM. Naomi was drinking wine from a sippy cup while Yshi watched her best friend in horror. "I honestly have no idea what happened but please, if that makes you happy... go on..." Yshi stated as she blinked a few more times before gulping, placing the glass filled with ice on the table. "So, you're telling me that you're ready to tell (your name) about the past?" Yshi raised her eyebrows as she inhaled. "I mean, she's open minded but... what would she think about herself though?"

"That's the problem... I don't want her thinking about negative stuff when I tell her the truth, Yshi..." Naomi had finally placed the sippy cup down, her thin lips formed a pout. "Naomi, it can't be helped especially after all that..." coughing, Yshi stopped herself before looking straight into the blue haired female's eyes. "...crap that happened... not only to you and Shota but to us too..." Naomi flailed her arms on the side, tears starting to form as she thinks about her children.

"Yshi, where would we even be without you..."

"Do you want me to recall?"

✧ ✧ ✧

IT STARTED A LITTLE OVER A FEW YEARS AGO. They were third years and Yshi had just gotten back from the student council room. Her face was filled with rage and her cheeks were red from the blood boiling under it. The crowd parted when she passed by seeing that she is not in the best of moods and nobody wants to get in her way. Opening the door to the classroom, a sweet innocent smile was plastered on her face but her eyes were screaming bloody murder. "Alright, which one of you dipshits decided to fucking spread a rumor about Shota and I dating? I will sue."

At that time, the two girls you had met at the grocery store were the main antagonists of Naomi's life. In the span of their friendship, they constantly manipulated and emotionally abused Naomi into thinking she needed them to even make it through her high school life but luckily, Yshi was able to drag her out of their cages and vowing to protect her no matter what—and maybe because her childhood friend, Shota, always had a big crush on her since they were first years. They were the ones who started the rumor about Yshi and Shota dating in hopes they would get the chance to manipulate Naomi again using her defenseless bottled up feelings for Shota.

"I will fucking kill the person who had done this..." Yshi whispered to Shota while the male watched her pace beside his desk. "Can you move a little less, I'm getting dizzy watching you?"

"Well, Mr. President, I do fucking hope you know what's going to happen when more people get involved with this rumor between us." Yshi chuckled sarcastically the male cocked his eyebrows. "You still haven't told Naomi how you fucking feel about her and this rumor is going to make it a little harder for her to trust you..." Shota's eyes widened at this realization. "You mean..."

"Yes, asshole..." Yshi slammed her hands on his desk. "If we don't do something about it, you can say goodbye to your chances with Naomi..." Shota stayed silent only giving Yshi a look of confusion, concern, and desperation for her to do something about the situation. "Alright, there might be something I could do..." Yshi smirked but Shota gave her a doubting squint. "What's your plan, Yoshinoya?"

"Oh, you'll see, Shota..." She winked. "...I hope you don't mind me beating you up though!"

Shota gulped. "What?"

The hallways that afternoon when most students were going home was dead silent as Yshi dragged Shota by his necktie. The black-haired male struggled to break free from her grasp but also did not want to result in violence to get it back however she knew the female would just end up equalling his strength so he tried not to fight back as much as possible. When they were in the middle of a big hall with lots of splitting hallways, Yshi had the proceeded to punch the hell out of Shota—to which the male had no time to respond to and was only shocked by the impact her fist had made on his cheeks, stomach, torso, neck, and forehead. Letting out only groans of terror and anguish, Shota got to his knees and curled up on the floor, mentally cursing the female for catching him off guard like that.

"Alright, everyone! Listen up!" Yshi shouted loud enough for everyone to hear and to think they were in the middle of the big hall too. The students looked at one another before starting to whisper about the rumor again which may have set Yshi off. "The only thing I want you all to get in your motherfucking skulls that I do not have any relationship besides friendship with Shota Aizawa." Naomi, whose attention had been called for, quickly ran to the big hall seeing Yshi putting her hands on her hips yelling a bunch of gibberish (since she was a bit too far to understand at first). Naomi had heard the rumor and as expected, she was heartbroken about it.

"Y'all see that blue-haired pretty girl over there?!" Yshi looked at Naomi for a moment, waving at her with a small smile while Shota struggled to stand up, a bruise forming on his side lip. Naomi bit her lower lip with worry as she watched Shota give her a small wave to but was only elbowed by Yshi in his stomach, causing him to curl up again. His dark eyes met with Naomi's for a moment and their gazes only shot back up to Yshi when she finally announced what was unexpected but also expected. "THEY BOTH LIKE EACH OTHER, OKAY?! JUST LEAVE ME ALONE! I AM SINGLE!"

The boys that were pining over Yshi roared as the girls breathed out a sigh of relief to know that Yshi wasn't actually dating Shota. The two ex-friends of Naomi glared at Yshi while they walked away from the scene. Proud of her well-earned victory, she patted Shota in the back and pushed him to Naomi. "Now, go kiss or whatever..." Yshi rolled her eyes while smirking, leaving the two to finally confess years' worth of bottled-up affection and passion for one another. The next week and the next thing their circle of friends was concerned about was how fast-paced the relationship was going.

Naomi and Shota got together (which wasn't in the slightest shocking) but what was different was Shota was the type to become overly protective over the girl. Even in the student council room, Enji and Keigo wouldn't dare go near Naomi as Shota would shoot them tiny daggers—or maybe it was just the stress of him being the President, who knows? Naomi, however, didn't find this as weird or even different, it was how Shota would show his love to her. Most of the time, they would spend lots of evenings in the student council room, going home by eleven in the evening or even sleeping there by mistake and only going home in the morning and coming back in a few minutes.

To both of them, it was a relationship that only supported the other and often than not, helped one another recharge from the constant stress the school was giving them. Yshi's only concern was if something happens to both of them while they are alone together—knowing how stressful situations can often lead to heated build-ups. Shota assured her that nothing was going to happen and that they were both responsible enough to not think about that when being together but boy, was he wrong.

It was a month before the biggest festival of the school and the three main members of the student council were stressed out about it. Yshi had been getting little to no sleep typing away letters and approvals, schedules and announcements, and the minutes of each week's daily meetings. Naomi had been helping Shota plan out the areas, sort out the schedules, and assign each individual class from juniors to seniors. For Shota, he had to do everything. The stress building up in the mind of the black-haired man was too much for him to handle and he needed a release. So, when Yshi decided that that was it for her one evening, she left the two with pent up tension.

And they were able to release that in a form of passionate lovemaking. It was sweet but in the back of their minds, they knew it was wrong but who was going to blame two people madly in love with one another? Of course, a lot of people would—but at that moment in time, they didn't care. The only thing that mattered was the tender touches of Shota's hand on Naomi's skin and the aching thirst inside of them that was quenched by the fire of a heated adoration.

And (your name) Aizawa was placed into the picture.

Days after the incident, Naomi and Shota told nobody about it and only they knew what truly happened. Naomi, at first, was not all worried about anything as no symptoms of pregnancy had occurred in her body yet. Shota was also relieved that he hadn't been able to impregnate his lover at this time as his parents would literally drag him out of their own household. In their time, having sex before marriage was a disgrace to the family. But what was worse was getting pregnant when you are this young. Just recently, around (your name)'s time has it been a norm and not just a taboo to the bloodline you are carrying. Shota Aizawa had to carry the burden of being a disgrace to his family—

And Naomi Kamikaze had not been showing up to school for weeks.

Yshi who had been enjoying her rumor-free weeks was about to walk in the student council room when all she could hear on the outside was Shota's now loud scolding at the members. "Yo, Shota. Take a chill pill?" Yshi was now confused as to why Shota was suddenly glaring at her, and his footsteps getting closer to her figure by the door. As she was pulled out of the student council room again, she yelped at the harsh tugging of the male's hand on her arm. "I just got here, what's the deal?"

Shota's once angry expression turned into worry as he faced the dark-haired girl. "Have you gotten any texts from Naomi recently?" he asked while Yshi sighed, closing her eyes at the male. "If you're just lashing out because you are worried over Naomi... I will be the one to tell you to snap out of it. No, I kept calling and messaging her but she won't respond. Shota, you're not the only one worried here..." Yshi looked into Shota's eyes and placed an arm on his shoulder. "Why do you look so tensed?" Shota opened his mouth to speak but only closing it again to realize that he wasn't supposed to say anything. "Nothing...just..." Yshi nodded, puffing her cheeks. "You can always talk to me when you have a problem, okay? I'll let you know when Naomi texts me too..."

That evening, Shota received a text from Naomi saying that they needed to meet at the park—

As soon as possible.

✧ ✧ ✧

"WERE WE REALLY THAT STUPID, YSHI?"

Naomi was now looking up at the roof, vaguely remembering what had happened in the past. "Don't ask me. I wasn't the one who had sex inside the student council room..." Yshi shook her head as she massaged the bridge of her nose with her fingers, her tan skin glowing as Naomi groaned a bit. "But that was only my half of the story, I never really knew what you and Shota talked about at that park..." Yshi smiled. "What happened in the park was something along the lines of Shota and me talking about my pregnancy. I disappeared for a few weeks contemplating a lot of things and I didn't want to worry you guys over my thoughts..." Naomi stopped and gulped, taking another swig at her sippy cup. "...I never thought it'd get worse and the next thing I knew, I wanted to off myself..."

"How did the two of you end up at my house again?"

"Well..."

✧ ✧ ✧

MAYBE THE WORLD WAS A BIT UNFAIR TO THEM AT THAT TIME. Naomi and Shota had just finished talking at the park, crying their eyes out and trying to keep themselves steady. They were young, naïve, reckless, and in love. But too much love can often lead to so many consequences that others often think if it's even worth every risk—for both of them, it was. Despite his nervousness, Shota spoke to his parents about what happened. He said he wanted to take responsibility for his own actions but instead of being open-minded and accepting of his decisions, his parents shunned him out of the family—urging him to leave the house, never to return until he proves himself worthy. His family wanted him to leave the girl in the dust and just go through with his own little world but the guilt that washed over Shota thinking about leaving Naomi and his soon to be child was overbearing with his emotions. And so, he left. Shota picked Naomi up from her apartment.

Yshi was about to head to bed that evening when she received a knock on her door. Yshi's parents were usually out of town or were constantly at the hospital and despite being pampered with lots of material things and money, she only ever felt family with her grandma but even she is constantly busy too. When the taller female opened the door, she was shocked to see Naomi and Shota with bags slung over their shoulders and tears in Naomi's eyes. "I am not sure what's happening right now but I better not be right..." Yshi whispered as she let the two in, Shota visibly gulping as he placed his bags on the floor and sitting on Yshi's living room couch. "Did the two of you run away?"

Naomi and Shota nodded simultaneously, their eyes tired and their faces tensed as stress started to build up in their heads again. "Yoshinoya, if we tell you, are we sure that we're not going to end up hearing a lot of things from you?" Shota asked as he leaned forward, his elbows resting on top of his thighs, supporting his body from falling forward. "You have my word but if needed, I can tell anybody who can help us, deal?"

"Fine..."

"So, what seems to be the problem?" Yshi glanced at the pair sitting next to each other. "And why does Naomi look like she's about to cry...?" Shota licked his lip before biting on the lower one. "Yshi, Naomi's...pregnant..." Shota exhaled loudly, closing his eyes for any negative reaction from the female in front of them but was surprised to notice that she stood up and walked near Shota, grabbing both his shoulders. "So, I was right... I should have known..." Yshi pressed her tongue on her cheek. "You really did it when I went away that night, didn't you?"

"Please, Yshi..."

"No, Shota. I'm not going to judge." Yshi explained. "The thing is, I can help you. I'm your best friend since we were—what—middle school? And Naomi had been mine since the first year. It's hard for both of you to go through this. From now on, I am your parent." She shrugged as she smiled warmly at the two. "There's a reason why my parents are doctors and why I ended up being the one with the most open mind about things like that. Even grandma wouldn't be one to judge. But, the question still remains, why this young? Why did you do it? Why didn't you use protection?"

"It was the heat of the moment," Shota grunted, running his hands along his face, tears stinging on the side of his eyes. "I should have stopped myself, I know... but...everything was so overwhelming—the stress, the emotions, the passion. Everything was right there and I was careless and tactless about my own decisions." Yshi pursed her lips as she looked up to the roof, trying to think of a less insulting way to say what she wanted to. "Well, yeah, Shota... not going to disagree with you there. You were tactless..."

"Oh, c'mon. Don't rub it in my face."

"So, your parents let you leave the house or you leave Naomi?" The male nodded at her question while Naomi continued to slump on the sofa. "What are we supposed to do, Yshi?"

"That's honestly not a problem. I mean, it is... however, we can do something but it might involve Naomi having to take a modular, we have to tell the principal through my grandma, and the ones we trust in the student council body needs to know so that they can also help. Stress is bad for a bearing mother so school work and student council work goes to a bare minimum."

"Are you sure you still don't want to become a doctor?" Shota teased while Yshi chuckled.

"Fuck off. I still don't want my parents to win over that decision..." She rolled her eyes. "Naomi and you will have to stay here while I find you a good apartment to stay in. I think I have enough money in my bank account and I can make money for you while I'm at school. I just need to have some sort of diversion to avoid people asking about where Naomi would be. Let's just pretend she's sick and she needs more rest..." As Yshi continued to spurt out more solutions, Shota snaked his hand on Naomi's, clutching on to it for dear life. "We can get through this, love..." he whispered as he smiled.

"I know, Shota. Thank you... for staying..."

✧ ✧ ✧

YSHI PUFFED HER CHEEKS AS SHE WATCHED THE LAST DRIPS OF THE WINE LEAVING THE BOTTLE. "Then, what happened after that was, of course, we were able to keep the secret. A few of our friends know along with the principal and my grandma. Everything was running smoothly until lo and behold, somebody decided to spread a rumor against you once more," Yshi rolled her eyes and groaned. "And we could only know who could have done it."

Naomi chuckled as she nodded. "Those bitches never really let me down, did they?"

✧ ✧ ✧

IT WASN'T LONG BEFORE THE WHOLE SCHOOL STARTED TALKING ABOUT NAOMI'S DISAPPEARANCE. Keigo, Shota, Yshi, Enji, and Rei were now stuck in the student council room stressing about the constant questions people throw at them because of the accusations that they were hiding Naomi not because she was sick. Shota was already stressed out enough from his school work and taking care of Naomi in the evening and he felt like he was going to punch anybody who was going to go near him to ask if the rumors about Naomi pregnant were true. "I have small patience for the students right now..." Shota let out an exasperated sigh, the bags under his eyes thicker than his will to live.

"I agree. Whoever started this rumor might or might not know something. Obviously, they just want to drag Naomi down... and of course, Shota and Yshi too..." Keigo clicked his tongue as he shook his head, his blonde strands following after. Enji who had been annoyed by the others asking him had been called to the guidance counselor's office for punching a guy right in his face. Most of them groaned while they looked down, trying to think of a way to revert the student's attention from the rumor. While Yshi took care of the rumor, Shota was left behind to continue his work.

✧ ✧ ✧

IN THE SPAN OF THOSE MONTHS, SHOTA AIZAWA HAD TO LEARN TO VALUE WHAT IT MEANS TO BE A FATHER, A HARD WORKER, AND A STRONG PERSON. He had promised himself that he would take care of his future family and be open-minded about things that needed a lot of understanding. When you were born, he was always understanding and caring—always making sure your achievements were recognized and your needs were catered to but when he got the promotion to become the school's head, he became too strict and too cold—afraid that you might end up in a bad position because of him.

Watching you grow up, he was more than afraid that you will become like him and like them. He shared the same sentiment with Naomi—they were afraid that you will find someone you will love dearly and end up repeating history.

For the first few months of high school, Shota was calm to see that you were concentrated with other things and not finding time to entertain any suitors. But Hitoshi Shinso came into the picture. But maybe right now, he's just blindsided by the fact that he's stressed out and busy with work that he forgot the true value of letting people breathe. He's blindsided by the idea of you being too smitten with him.

And that fear turned to anger.

And that anger turned to resentment.

✧ ✧ ✧

"SO, WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO NAOMI?"

"Honestly, Yshi..."

Suddenly the two of the older females stopped talking as they heard a knock on the door. "Mom...?" your voice was shaking as you watched your mother's irises drain themselves of their color, widening as you walked closer. "...Was everything I heard true...?" Naomi was silent while Yshi stood up and held your shoulder. "Why don't you sit down for a moment, (your name)?" she smiled while you sat on the chair Yshi was sitting in, the dark-haired female closing the door and locking it.

"Baby, you weren't supposed to hear all of that..." Naomi chuckled as she ruffled your black hair. "But since you did... how do you feel...?"

"Odd. I mean, there are parts I don't understand," you truthfully said while you fidgeted with your fingers. "I understand dad just doesn't want me to repeat history. He just doesn't want me to have a family at such a young age—let alone being high school students. I understand that he worked his way to be successful to help us to become stable enough and I understand that being too in love with somebody doesn't mean you could do all the things you want..." Naomi nodded as she gave a comforting grin. "But?"

"But..." you gulped. "...I don't understand why he's so mean to me...He's thinking of my achievements lately as poor and not enough. He's always telling me that I'm distracted when in all honesty, I'm just really trying my best, mom." You took a deep breath while the two females waited for you to continue. "I really like Hitoshi too... and he's been a really nice person ever since I started to be friends with him again. But I don't think he'd be the type of person to let me down like that—to let you and dad down like that."

"I understand, (your name). I trust Hitoshi."

"I know you do, mom. But if dad knows the things that are happening between me and him... you know what's going to happen..."

Yshi clicked her tongue. "And it's not only his life Shota's going to destroy..."

The three remained silent for a few moments before continuing to talk about what happened back then. And even though there were still some questions left unanswered in the back of your head, you were relieved to know that your mother would be alright if you felt something for the lilac haired male in your front yard. All that's left now is how your father would take in what you truly feel for Hitoshi Shinso.

Because even though love is such a strong feeling...

Anger overpowers it.

And sometimes, it's hard to win over anger without letting it go down first.

✧ ✧ ✧

A/N: So, bear with me here. Uh- I tried to make the explanation a little better but this is not in any way trying to condone to teenage pregnancy. There is a reason why sex education is important and why teenagers should be taught natural sex essentials when growing up because of hormones! In my country, the cases of teenage pregnancy are high and that's because of the lack of education about it. Most of the people here are also conservative and the mere mention of the word 'sex' is a taboo.

I would have loved to make a full-blown explanation about everything that happened in the past but I decided that I might just write a spin-off for this book that revolves around Shota, Naomi, and Yshi's high school life.

Anyways, I hope you enjoyed this chapter, and as much as you want to love Dadzawa for this, he will still break our hearts in the next ones (don't worry, it won't be ~that~ long). Stay tuned for the next ones and always stay safe guys!
