Chapter 24: The Cousin.

Ramona's POV.

Should I tell him? He's just staring at me and I have no idea what to do. I'm frozen. You know what I'll just tell him. I take a deep breath and then I look at him.

"Lola said that I was ugly and fat she also said that you're lying to me and you're just saying I'm beautiful just because you're using me to get back to Lola." I try to blink back my tears but I just can't, I've been living a lie everyone is probably just using me.

"Ramona, I do think you're beautiful. Don't listen to Lola, she's just trying to get in between us so she can try and have me. You're the only girl for me, and that's why I love you" He wipes my tears off my face with his thumb and he pulls me closer to him and then he leans in and kisses me and I kiss back. The kiss is slow yet passionate.

I finally realize that I'm in love with Jackson Fuller. He makes me happy when I'm sad he's like the peanut butter to my jelly. I don't want to be without him. These feelings are just way to strong I'm afraid one day I'm going to get hurt especially with Lola around, but I don't care I feel like Jackson will protect me through it all, if he loves me, and I believe that he does. I can't even believe that I let Lola take over my mind like that. I will not let her do that ever again.

I pull away from him and I smile and he smiles back. "I love you too" I say and I watch his smile get bigger.

"Really!!?" I just nod my head and he then stands up and he picks me up and twirls me in a circle.

"So y'all gonna eat or like just spin around in a circle forever" Jackson stops spinning me and we face the door to see Max leaning on the door. Jackson puts me down and I laugh when I hear him growl. I walk back inside. "Ramona, you look terrible" Max says once I walk inside. I look at him then I look at Jackson.

"LIAR!" I yell at Jackson as I turn around and run upstairs. Okay so I know I just said that I wouldn't let Lola get to me, but even Max thinks I'm ugly so it must be true I swing my door open then I get stopped by a hand on my wrist I turn to see Jackson. Ugh, what if he does think I'm beautiful and I'm just over reacting. Jackson would never lie to me and Max was probably just playing with me. I sigh. "I'm sorry" I tell Jackson.

"Its okay" he gives me a kiss then my stomach growls, I'm starving. I got to wipe this makeup off my face. I give him a quick kiss on the cheek and I walk over to the bathroom and I wipe all the makeup off my face. I look up at myself in the mirror. Lola was right I am ugly.

"See you're beautiful" I smile as I see Jackson stand behind me in the mirror.

"I think you need glasses" I say turning around to face him.

"And I think you should stop listening to Lola, you're beautiful in every way." He then leans down and kisses my nose and I look down and blush. "Now you're blushing because you know you're beautiful, you just don't want to admit it" he puts his hand under my chin and makes me look at him. "Now I don't know about you but I'm starving and I want food" He ruffles my hair and he walks away I turn around and I look at myself in the mirror.

I am beautiful, aren't I?

Jackson's POV.

Lola is getting on my very last nerve how dare she make Ramona feel so insecure about her self. I need to figure out a way to help Ramona see that she's beautiful inside and out. I can't believe she thinks she's fat, like has she seen herself. She looks like a toothpick.

I pull my chair out and I sit down at the table and I start eating my food. "Hey everyone" I turn around to see Ramona walking down the stairs with the biggest smile on her face. She walks around the table and sits down in her seat across from me. She picks up her fork and she just digs into her plate of food.

"So we're not going to acknowledge, how Ramona just stormed upstairs earlier" We all turn our heads to look at Stephanie. "So no" we keep staring. "Okay then" she goes back to eating her food. We all turn our heads and look at Ramona.

Dang, half her food is already gone. "You eat like a pig" Max says as he stares at Ramona. He better not lay one finger on her because if he does he better sleep with one eye open.

"Shut up" Ramona says as she stuffs more food in her mouth. I just start eating my food then my mother speaks up.

"Jackson and Max your cousin Jordan is coming to stay with us for the rest of the summer" The biggest smile comes across my face. Jordan is from my dads side of the family he's my dad's sister's son. Jordan is like a best friend to me so I'm definitely excited that he's coming over.

"Really!?" I say enthusiastic.

"Really?" Max says with a dryer tone. Jordan and Max don't really have a good history. They hate each other. It's a long hilarious story, so yeah.

"Yes, also you guys are officially ungrounded" Yes! I hear choking and look up at Ramona who is choking on her food. Max gets up and wraps his arms around her stomach.

"Oh no you don't" I say as I get up and run to the other side of the table then I push Max off of Ramona then I help her, he will not have his hands all over my woman. You know I used to just play with them but now I'm starting to think he is trying to take Ramona away from me.

Ramona's POV

I wake up to the sound of my alarm clock I feel around for my phone and then I turn off my alarm. I sit up in my bed and I grab my towel then I walk to the bathroom. I take a shower, brush my hair, then my teeth, then I stare at the mirror I'm a big blob of prettiness. Jackson is right I really need to stop listening to Lola, I mean look at me I'm glamorous.

I wrap the towel around my body and I walk to my room. I put on a tie dye t-shirt and shorts then I walked down stairs and I went and sat down at the kitchen table.
Stephanie was the only other person in the kitchen besides me. "So, Ramona I kind of forced Jackson to tell me why you were acting weird yesterday" Stephanie says as she walks over to me and puts a plate of Pancakes and eggs in front of me. Then she sits down and puts her plate in front of her.

"Yeah, I'm okay now though" I tell her as I pour a bunch of syrup on my pancakes.

"Okay, just don't listen to that Lola girl, she seems like bad news" I nod my head and take a bite out of my pancake. This is so good.

"My cousin is coming, my cousin is coming" Jackson says as he skips through the kitchen then he stops and looks at me then at Stephanie then back to me.

"Do I get any food?" He asks.

"Make it your self" Stephanie says as she puts more food into her mouth.

"We all know what happens when. I cook. I mean everything is still black over there" Jackson says pointing to the stove area.

"Alright fine" Stephanie says getting up from her seat. Jackson sits down in the seat across from me. Then he just stares at me.

"What?" I say with a mouthful of food.

"Nothing, and don't talk with your mouth full I don't want you to almost die on me again" He laughs and I just shove more food into my mouth.

We all sit in the living room and by 'we all' I mean Jackson, Max, Tommy, DJ, my mom, Stephanie, and I. We're all waiting for Jordan to get here because he said he is close. Then the door bell rings. "I'LL GET IT!" Jackson yells pushing me off of him then he runs to the door. He opens the door and stops. "Oh it's just you" He turns around and walks back over to the couch and he wraps his arm around my waist again.

"Well, I don't feel welcomed at all" Bobby says as he walks further into the house.

"You're aren't" DJ says.

"Nice to see you too, Miss DJ" Bobby says as he walks and sits down on the floor because there is no where else to sit.

"Why would y'all leave the door open that is just not safe at all" Then this kid with brown hair and dark green eyes walks into the room holding a suit case in his hand.

"JORDAN!" Jackson yells as he pushes me causing me to fall off the chair, luckily Max was there to catch me before I fell face first on the floor. "Max, get your hands off my woman"

"Your woman would have a huge bruise on her face if I didn't catch her" Max almost yells back at Jackson.

"Just give me my woman" I hear Jackson's voice say then I feel arms wrap around my waist and next thing you know. Jackson is holding me bridal style.

"Jordan, this is Ramona. Ramona this is Jordan" Jackson introduces us.

"Hi" I say.

"Hey" he says back then he winks. Am I the only one that saw that I look up at Jackson to see he's to busy talking to Bobby. I look around the room to see everyone to busy talking then I spot Max who is looking at me back.

"I saw it too" Max whispers. Okay so he did wink at me. He does know I'm taken right? I mean Jackson just called me his woman. What if that was just a friendly wink? Yeah that was just a friendly wink. Right?
