The pro huntsmen search the whole city for any signs of Taiyang and Y/N's daughters. When it was twenty minutes after they began their search, they have decided to gather first to hear what the other has found out.

"Have you guys seen anything?" Raven asked them.

"Not yet, it will take a while to find the right warehouse in a large city like this. How about you guys?" John looks at them.

"We have to keep looking, let's group into two." Y/N said to them.

They all nodded and partnered up, four of them began their search again which left Raven and him there. The two of them began to search as well. All of them didn't waste a second and look all over the large city, while as they look around, Arthur and Karra spotted something on a warehouse that they had just found.

"Is that Tai?" Karra said.

"Yeah it's him, go call everyone else." Arthur told her.

She complied and grab her scroll, she contacted each of them and showed their location. The others told her that they're on their way.. Arthur decided to ambush him first so he walked near the warehouse and told Karra to stay hidden. Taiyang was about to walk back inside so he made this an opportunity and run from behind him then lock his head in his arm.

"Tai, you better release the kids and we'll talk about this peacefully." Arthur said to him.

"Why would I listen to someone like you huh?!" Tai started to elbow him on the stomach.

When he was hit multiple times there, he let go of him due to pain. Taiyang raised his right arm at his shoulder level and blasted him with a small orange beam. He crashed at a small wall grunting, the attack also made his aura deplete into half.

"You think you can beat me that easily? C'mon, I'm not the old me." Tai said smirking.

"Give us Ruby and Yang!" Arthur demanded.

"I would rather not." He said.

Out of nowhere, Karra rushed forward at Taiyang with her twin blades and attempts to slash him only to be dodged by him jumping. Karra repeatedly tries to slash him but it's seems she can even land a hit on him. Tai got tired of dodging and teleported behind her and applied a strengthening spell on his legs then kicked her. She got slammed on a wall as well and felt excruciating pain on her back but she has managed to stand back up thanks to her aura. Karra looks at Tai with shocked, due to the damage he has dealt to her.

"H-how did you became that strong?!" She asked.

He didn't answer instead, he showed her the cursed book that they were finding for months now. She was surprised.

"What.... How d-did you find that?"

"Probably luck... Never mind this because it's time for you to die." He said.

"Tai, why are you doing this? This isn't who you are!" Arthur said to him.

"Tch, I wouldn't be like this if it weren't those rats and that bastard. Now where was I? Oh, well goodbye now." A purple glowing orb is forming on Taiyang's hand and was about to blast it at them, until.

"Oh no you don't!" Qrow's voice came from the left side and kicked him to the side which also cancels the spell.

Tai lies down on the ground with the book in his hand and quickly stands back up. Qrow draws his sword and began swinging it at him. His attacks were either blocked by the book or dodged, this made Qrow irritated so he speed up his attacks. He manage to hit Tai but it didn't deal a lot of damage. Tai proceeds to use a spell to summon two black flaming swords, he puts the book inside his large pocket and got into a stance. Qrow did so as well and soon they began their fight. Each slash was blocked by the other sword, Tai was about to slash him from below but he jump and got back by kicking the two swords. John then appeared with his blade hitting him which made his foot slide back to the ground.

"Tai, this has to stop! Release the book and the two you had hostage." John spoke.

"Why would I? Plus, they have to pay for what they've caused." He replied with a smirk.

This made John growled and recklessly rushed to him and began to attack repeatedly, just like before, his attacks were easily blocked and dodged. John got caught off guard due to focusing on attacking that Tai had managed to deplete his aura and injured him by removing his weapon from his hand and slashing him by the shoulder. Qrow was about to put his weapon into scythe mode but Raven finally arrived.

"Well if it isn't Raven, you came to stop me as well? By the way, where's that bastard of a human named Y/N?" Tai said looking at her with a smug face.

"Everyone stand back." Raven said to them.

Everyone did so as they watch closely on what is going on. Raven stepped back as well and just looks at Tai.

"Are you making the battle field larger? We both know you don't have to." He said.

"The truth is, it has to." Y/N became visible behind Tai and grab his arms then proceed to restrain him.

Due to the pain he is having at the moment, he forced himself to drop the flaming weapons then faded into smoke after.

"You go get Ruby and Yang. I'll take care of him." Y/N said to the rest.

They nodded at him and immediately entered inside the warehouse.

"Taiyang, not only you've caused havoc in some parts of Vale, you've also kidnapped my daughters and about to kill them with that book. I can't forgive with that." He said rage visible in his voice.

"Heh, I'm not sorry at all." He said and bang his head on his face causing him to let him go and hold on his face.

Tai punches him on the stomach and on the face a few times. Y/N blocked the punches with his arms and then bash him to the ground. Y/N pinned him to the ground and punched him. The book began to glow black and the demon trapped in there appeared before them. The demon then began to suffocate him which made Tai escape from him.

"It was good to see you again, Y/N." The demon spoke to him.

He tries his best to remove the hand from his neck but it was no avail.

"This will not happen if you had just freed me from that book after using that spell. But, you put me back and I really hate it. So this will be your fate as well as for the ones you love." It said.

"Dad!" Yang's voice was heard.

This made the demon gaze at them and smirked, he looks back at Y/N who was struggling for air.

"Speaking of you and your loved ones, how about we see which one of you shall die first?" The demon began to approach them.

The demon was about to grab one of them but it's hand that was holding Y/N was cut off by his dagger and he was finally able to breathe.

"Don't you even touch any of them." He looked at the demon with pure rage.

He activated his semblance and black aura violently emitted from him. This made Taiyang and the Demon back away from him.

"Not that semblance again! I'll kill you before it even happens!" The demon charge at him but was stuck in its position.

"(Good thing I've stored enough to do this.)"

Before he was about to cast a dark cage around the demon, it then attacks him with black smoking spikes and hit Y/N but it didn't do a thing. He began to do cast a spell and soon the demon yelled in agony and hatred and turned into smoke before the smoke itself enters inside the book. After that Y/N fell on his knees sweating, even though the demon was sealed back in the book, the curse is still within him.

Seconds later, he then felt a sharp pain by his side. He looks down and saw blood on his clothes, it must have been from the demon's attack. The others looked in shocked as well, Ruby was about to run forward to him but was stopped by Raven.

"We can't go near him Ruby." She said.

"But, he will die if we didn't helped him!!" Tears appeared from her eyes.

Unbeknownst to them, Tai was about to kill Y/N. But he was able to dodge his blow despite the I jury he has.

"I'm not done with you yet!" Tai said.

Y/N immediately stand up and tackle him with all his strength which sends him in the middle of a few trees where the others can't see them. He fell to the ground as Y/N stood in front of him holding his bleeding side.

"I'm sorry to do this Tai but....." He paused and didn't bother to finish the sentence then stab him on the throat with his dagger.

He struggls for breath as blood rapidly spill out of his mouth and neck. A few seconds later he is now motionless.

"I can't let a corrupt like you to be lurking around." He said.

He then falls to the ground and clutches on his side, he looks above and smiled slightly before he became unconscious.

Faint voices calling his name were all he heard before he can hear nothing.
