Relations are made from heart. 

Shivaay's Dadi always say those words to him. 

His relationship with Anika is such. They were best friends since they are 13 who fight with each other like Tom and Jerry. Their relationship was like Tom and Jerry. They can't stay with each other but can't part away from each other. 

Shivaay and Anika's friendship started with a fight.

Flashback

Shivaay  entered the classroom and was about to take the seat he usually sits but before he could sit there a girl with two side ponytails came sit at his place.

Shivaay was furious at the girl's attempt.

"Tum ho kaun? Aur mere seat mein kyun beth gayi?" Shivaay shouted at her.

But this girl is not like other girls of the class. She went near Shivaay.

"Arey Bagad Billa, kya yahan tera naam likha hai?" The girl retroted.

But Shivaay being SSO,  can't back down.

"Mein iss seat mein daily bethta hoon. Yeah Shivaay Singh Oberoi ka  seat hai. Utho yahan se" Shivaay ordered her.

"Arey SSO, tujhe lag raha ki. Mein Anika hoon, tu koi sher nahin hey ke mein tujhse dar jaon Bagad Billa kahinka" The girl introduced herself as Anika spoke up.

"Yeh kaunsa language tum use kar rahi ho."Shivaay being confused asked her.

"Hindi re Bhagad billa" Anika pointed to him

Like this there tutu meinmein continued untill the teacher came and arranged their seats.

They resolved their fights and became friends in tiffin period. 

Flashback ends

Their friends bloom into more beautiful bond. Both became best of friends in a short span of time. Everything changes with time but Billu-Billa ki ladhai never changed. They began to fight more but at the end of the day they were back to best friends again.

Anika is smart but is a major procrastinator when it comes to studies. Shivaay always looks after her studying times and helps her with studies. She paybacks Shivaay by looking after the Kanji aankonwala Bagad Billa doesn't start his own romance with books in his room as a bookworm. She makes sure that he should socialize well.  

They were yin-yang to each other. Umbrella to each other in rain days. If one falls down then other joins the fallen one by falling down. They love to annoy each other. If anyone tries to hurt Anika, Shivaay leaves no stone un-turned to punish that person vice versa.

Now ShivIka are in college. As you grew up, new challanges and new situations you need to face for moving on. Anika and Shivaay were no exception to this. 

Daksh eyes on Anika. Shivaay despises him from the core of his heart. Daksh is a playboy and wants Anika because to avenge the humilation she gave to him in school. He tried many ways  to humilate her and hurt her but Shivaay always saved her in nick of time. Anika was unaware of this fact.

Tia, Daksh's best friend wants Shivaay as her boyfriend.Both had team up to create rifts among ShivIka. Both created misunderstandings and succeded in putting veil among ShivIka. Their friendship turned into hatred. Fate played a nasty game with their lives again.

Anika fall for Daksh after a series of approaches and good acts which made Anika believe that Daksh has changed.

Tia succeded in getting Shivaay by making Anika fall down in his eyes. This led to more misunderstandings.

Though they got separated by them but they still always got sense of each others presence.They always got a vibe that they misunderstood each other but they avoided  it.

OmRu have noticed all this. They teamed up with Gauri and Soumya to expose Daksh to Shivaay and Anika. 

They succeed in the task of exposing Daksh.

After the exposure, They reconciled their friendship.

Years passed. Shivaay is going to get married to Tia. Tia is only interested in Shivaay's money and wants ruin Oberois. Anika being aware of her motives, teams up with OmRu and SoRi to expose her.

A day before ShiTia marriage, Tia traps Anika  and tries to make Shivaay believe that Anika is trying to ruin her respect and calls her a characterless girl.

Shivaay doesn't believe Tia and OmRu had told Shivaay about Tia's reality. Shivaay breaks his marriage with Tia.

Anika asked Shivaay," why did you choose me over Tia?"

Shivaay answered,"Because you're my best friend. Love can hurt us but friendship always makes a way to smile."

Both smiled at each other
