Third Person's POV

It was morning and the kids and their digimon were up and walking through the forest. They stop for a moment when they here a weird noise "What's that noise?" Tai asks and something flew past them in the air "It sounded like a gear" Matt said "A gear?" Brody asks "You sure it wasn't a flying disk?" Sora asks "Or it could have been a meteorite shaped like a gear" Mimi said "Either way something isn't right in all this..." Joe said. Tk took a step and a twig on the floor snaps and he almost trips but Brody catches him "Are you ok Tk?" Brody asks "That hurt but I'll be fine, I can handle it" Tk said "That's not neccesary. It's okay to admit something is hurting you" Sora said "Yeah. Honestly, it only hurts a bit" Tk "Are you ok Tk?!" Patamon asks worried "What are you talking about now?" Tentomon asks and Tk picks up Patamon "Alright let's keep going!" Sora said "Right. We can't stay and complain here" Matt said "That's all well and good but... we don't know where to go" Tai said "That's true but..." Sora said and Biyomon gently nuzzles her "I'm completely happy anywhere as long as Sora's there!" Biyomon said "That can't be..... Even if you are 100% happy it'll be problematic to be there. I couldn't hold myself responsible" Sora said "100%?" Biyomon asks curious "N-no, don't worry about it" Sora said dropping the subject "Hold yourself responsible?" Biyomon asks curious "I said it doesn't matter so don't worry" Sora said smiling and the others started walking "I wanna know more about the things you're talking about Sora!" Biyomon said excited "Tell me! Yes?" Biyomon asks "You don't need to know that" Sora said "Stop arguing you two" Matt said "They're very carefree" Tai said "Just try to not fall behind you two" Brody said "I'm not arguing because I want to!" Sora said as she and Biyomon caught up to the others "Biyomon is a very sociable digimon" Tentomon said "I see. Every digimon has a different personality" Izzy said "Sora... Sora..." Biyomon said to Sora 'Can I bear to be with a digimon as sensitive as her?' Sora thinks.

Everyone comes to a stop and Matt looks to the side and gasps seeing an exit from the woods to a desert "We can get out of the woods!" Matt said.

At the same time the gear everyone heard made its way to a mountain.

Izzy sighs and wipes sweat off his forehead "This is like the african savannah I saw on tv" Izzy said "Huh? Does that mean there could be lions and giraffes around here?" Tai asks "I don't know.  It could be nice if we saw normal animals like the ones we know" Matt said "Those aren't here" Gabumon said "That's right! There's only digimon here" Tentomon said "There's only digimon here?" Brody asks "Izzy, were there any telephone poles in the savannah you saw?" Matt asks "No. There weren't any" Izzy said "People must be close then. There has to be!" Joe said "But these could be like those telephone booths on the beach or the train by the lake" Tai said "No it can't be! I'm completely sure there are people here!" Joe said and everyone stops "Izzy psst Izzy" Tentomon whispers and Izzy gets close to him "I told you there are only digimon here" Tentomon said to him while Mimi hums "Let's see where we are" Mimi said pulling out her compass and everyone looks at it but strangely the arrow starts spinning around "What's going on?!" Mimi asks confused and Izzy picks up some sand "This looks like sand but it's actually iron powder! That's what's making the compass spin around" Izzy said "We really are in an incredible place" Sora said "It's also very hot in here. We should get water as soon as we can" Izzy said "Yeah. You're right" Brody said "Just what kind of place is this?" Mimi asks.

"So hot...." Tai said as everyone was still walking "We should had stayed at the woods..." Joe said "At this rate we'll overheat" Matt said and Gomamon pants "Are you hot Gomamon?" Joe asks "I want ice..... or some water..." Gomamon said "Do you wanna use my hat Palmon?" Mimi asks "Thanks" Palmon said and Mimi takes off her hat and puts it on Palmon "It looks good on you!" Mimi said "Mimi.... nevermind" Sora said "Sora. Sora let's keep walking!" Biyomon said happy "You have a lot of energy" Sora said "Sora Sora" Biyomon said "That's enough. Right now I'm thirsty and I'm tired... and I'm tired of walking. So stop clinging to me! You're making me more tired" Sora said and everyone stops "Sora's tired...I'm sorry. Biyomon will stay calm" Biyomon said "Alright Alright. You can walk next to me" Sora said and Biyomon cheers up "I'm so happy! Sora I love you!" Biyomon said nuzzling against Sora's leg. Matt smiles "But we keep walking and walking and there seems to be nothing here" Matt said "Maybe it's best if we go back to the woods" He said and "Hm?" Herissmon said and looks behind him "What's the matter?" Brody asks " I thought I felt someone watching" Herissmon said and everyone looks at him confused "There's no one here but us" Izzy said "And this place is so big and empty it's hard for anyone to be hiding" Tai said "Maybe you just imagined it" Gabumon said "Did I?" Herissmon asks not feeling sure about it and Tai looks with his telescope and spots a village ahead "Guys! There's a village ahead!" Tai said "See! See! See? A village! There must be people there!" Joe asks "In any case it's best we investigate it" Izzy said "Alright! Let's go check that village!" Tai said and everyone starts walking except Herissmon "Don't worry about it" Agumon said poking Herissmon's cheek happily getting Herissmon's attention "Right!" Herissmon said smiling and the two catch up to the others.

Meanwhile the strange black gear got through a mountain and went inside a digimon.

Back with Tai and the others. It turns out the village was in fact a village of Yokomon! "It's a village of Yokomon!" Tai said "Yokomon! You're my friends!" Biyomon said "Hey hey! What kind of digimon are you?" One Yokomon asks Sora "Huh? Me?" Sora asks "No no. These people are not digimon they're something called humans. They're very friendly!" Biyomon said "Humans?" "They're not digimon?" "Very friendly?" It was what the Yokomon were saying "I was hoping to see humans here..." Joe said "Everything is the same size as the Biyomon" Brody said looking at the small cottages "It's natural as this is a village only Yokomon live" Herissmon said smiling "It reminds me of a fairy tale that my mom used to read me when I was little" Mimi said "I thought we could spend the night here but I see that's impossible" Matt said "We can't fit in their houses" Izzy said "somehow we'll fit there" Patamon said "But they're not human..." Joe said "Biyomon how did you digivolve?" One Yokomon asks "It was thanks to Sora see? I learned a lot being with Sora" Biyomon said "I see" A Yokomon said "But how did you digivolve? Can you only digivolve when you're with a human?" Another Yokomon asks "That was because I had to protect Sora!" Biyomon said "Protect me? How can she say that when she is so affectionate?" Sora asks quietly 'But thinking back on it...' Sora thinks and thinks back on the time Agumon digivolved to Greymon, Herissmon digivolved to Filmon and Gabumon digivolved to Garurumon 'Then if at any moment I'm in danger...' Sora thinks "No that can't be" Sora said dismissing it and Biyomon pokes her cheek "Sora" Biyomon said "All the Yokomon have offered us a feast!" Biyomon "R-really?" Sora asks and everyone perks up "A million thanks to the Yokomon!" Joe said "I'm so so so hungry!" Patamon said "Let's eat till we can't!" Tai said "I wonder what kind of food they're offering us" Izzy said "Water! Water! Water! There's a fountain here! Water water!" Tk said running to it "This fountain is connected to a water source in the Miharashi mountain" A Yokomon said "It's really delicious!" They said "This is the famous water from the Miharashi mountain" Tentomon said "Miharashi mountain?" Tk asks "That mountain" All the Yokomon said turning over to the direction of the mountain and Tk looks "That mountain?" Tk asks.

Suddenly the fountain stops working and instead a fire pillar bursts through "Oh no! I was so thirsty!" Tk said "We couldn't even taste it!" Mimi said "What's going on?" Tai asks "Why is this happening?" A Yokomon asks "D-don't worry! There's a lake over here!" Another Yokomon said "I'll go check!" Tai said and the others followed him. They come back with a bucket with rope and Tai throws it in the well but when he pulls it up he only pulls the rope and at the end of the rope it looked burnt and another fire stream emerges from the well "We saw something land at Miharashi mountain a while ago" A Yokomon said "What was it that you saw?" Matt asks "That black gear...." Izzy said "But could the landing of a black gear on Miharashi mountain cause something like this?" Sora asks "What's going on?" Joe asks "The water source of this area is located at Miharashi mountain. If something happened there all of our water will disappear!" One Yokomon said "I see" Izzy said "But Meramon lives in Miharashi mountain" Another Yokomon said "Meramon should be protecting the montain" A Yokomon said "Miharashi mountain right?" Brody asks this time taking his telescope and looks at the mountain "I'll look" Brody said. Brody spots Meramon sliding down the mountain "What is that?!" Brody asks "Meramon is coming down from the mountain!" One Yokomon said "Why?" Another Yokomon asks "He's not acting like he usually does!" A Yokomon said "Meramon?" Tai asks "Burns! Burns! I'm burning!" Meramon said "He's saying something" Brody said "Yeah" Tai said.

"Everyone run!" Tai shouted as Meramon started running towards the village. Everyone starts running away "Hide here!" Tai said to the Yokomon and the Yokomon go inside a sunken ship from the dry lake "Hurry! Hurry!" Sora said "Look where you're walking!" Matt said "I hate this!" Mimi said "Is everyone ok?" Joe asks as they were carrying Yokomon into the ship as well "Things are getting dangerous...." Joe said "Tk hurry up" Brody said as Tk and Izzy enter the ship as well and Sora remembers Biyomon noting she wasn't right next to her "Biyomon.." Sora said seeing Biyomon at the top guiding the Yokomon "Everyone this way!" Biyomon said "You too Biyomon hurry!" "We'll take you Biyomon!" The Yokomon said as they run "I'll be fine!" Biyomon said reassuringly "I'm here for you my friends" She said "That idiot....she's helping her friends but not herself..." Sora mumbles "Biyomon!" Sora said running towards her "Sora what's wrong?" Brody asks "Get back Sora!" Matt said from the ship. Biyomon sighs in relief once all the Yokomon went down and was unaware Meramon was behind her "Biyomon! Behind you!" Sora said and Meramon smacks Biyomon knocking her down the slide "Biyomon!" Sora said running towards Biyomon "Biyomon!" Sora said catching Biyomon "Sora you came to save me..." Biyomon said smiling and Sora smiles back picking up Biyomon "Of course I did!" Sora said "You're a very important friend to me" She said "Thank you Sora!" Biyomon said but gasps seeing Meramon charging up a fire ball "Sora look! This time it's my turn to save you!" Biyomon said and flies towards Meramon "Magical Fire!" Biyomon said shooting her attack at Meramon but it had no effect "Magical Fire!" Biyomon said firing again and again but it wasn't hurting Meramon "Biyomon won't be able to win on her own!" Tai said and Agumon Herissmon Tentomon Gabumon and Patamon run out of the ship towards Meramon "Burning Fist!" Meramon said firing his attack hitting Biyomon knocking her off the air "Biyomon!" Sora said "Biyomon you..." Sora said dropping to her knees "Hey! Cover Biyomon guys!" Brody said "Baby Flame!" Agumon said firing his attack "Lightning Quills!" Herissmon said firing his attack "Petit thunder!" Tentomon said shooting his attack "Petit fire!" Gabumon said firing his attack "Air shot!" Patamon said firing his attack but their attacks did nothing and Meramon was growing in size "Don't give up!" Matt said "I'm completely on fire!" Meramon said "The fire doesn't hurt Meramon!" Tai said "He's absorbing the energy of everyone's attacks!" Izzy said "He's getting bigger every second!" Matt said "What are we going to do?" Mimi asks "This is the end!" Joe said "I'm completely on fire!" Meramon said sliding down "Sora.... Sora's in danger... I can't lose like this!" Biyomon said getting up and Sora's digivice glows.

"Biyomon digivolve to.....Birdramon!" Biyomon said digivolving to Birdramon.

"Biyomon!" Sora said and Birdramon grabs Meramon and starts flying and throws him out the empty lake "Biyomon? She digivolved into Birdramon?" Sora asks as everyone is surprised "Burning Fist!" Meramon fires at Birdramon hitting her "Birdramon!" Sora said "I'm....I'm.... I'm... burning!" Meramon said "Burning! Burning! Burning!" Meramon said firing various Burning Fists at Birdramon "Birdramon don't give up!" Sora said "Meteor Wing!" Birdramon said firing her attack at Meramon hitting him and he shrinks as the Black Gear exits his back and goes into the sky and its destroyed "That was... a black gear!" Izzy said "Yeah.." Brody and Tai said "So that black gear entered Meramon's body...Was it because of that he went berserk?" Matt asks "Birdramon won!" Tk said and Birdramon turns back into Biyomon "Biyomon digivolved to save me" Sora said smiling "Sora! Sora! Sora!" Biyomon said flying to her happy and hugs Sora and Sora hugs back "Biyomon!" Sora said "Biyomon! Biyomon thank you! Thanks a lot!" Sora said smiling "Everything I did was natural" Biyomon said "Because I love you Sora!" Biyomon said happy and Sora smiles.

Soon all the fire was gone and everyone went around Meramon who woke up "Meramon have you regained consciouness?" One Yokomon asks "Why...?" Meramon asks confused as to what he's done "What a relief you're back to normal Meramon!" Another Yokomon said "Why were you acting so strange? What happened?" One Yokomon asked "A gear fell from the sky.... and then...." Meramon said trying to recall what happened "You can't remember anything else?" A Yokomon asks "Meramon please protect Miharashi mountain like always!" One Yokomon said and Meramon agreed.

"Don't be a bad digimon again!" Tai said as he and everyone watches Meramon make his way back to the mountain "Protect the mountain!" Patamon said "Right! The Yokomon offered us a feast!" Biyomon who was in Sora's arms said smiling "I'm still hungry..." Tk said "Leave that to us!" All the Yokomon said getting things ready.

And the feast in question was.... seeds!

"This is a feast?" Tai asks disappointed "What's wrong Sora? Why aren't you eating? It's delicious!" Biyomon said "Yeah yeah! Eat Mimi!" Palmon said "But humans don't normally eat this..." Sora said "But...I'm hungry" Tk said starting to eat "We can't fight on an empty stomach" Matt said eating as well "Let's eat!" Tai said eating "Guess it can't be helped" Brody said eating "Are you guys serious?" Sora asks "If you chew enough it's not so bad" Joe said eating "No! Now I really wanna go home!" Mimi said and everyone laughs 'Biyomon saved me from danger... She was right. She really digivolved when I was in danger' Sora thought as everyone starts digging in the feast.

But the children didn't know how often they will be seeing black gears in the coming days.
