One week later, Denise gets another text from Henry. She sobs as she reads it and thinks, no.

       I will not stand in your way of finding love.

    Denise text to Henry

What do you mean?

Henry's text to Denise

I am at the train station about to leave for my job out of town.

  I think it is best if we have our space.

Denise text to Henry

What? You plan to leave?

Henry's text to Denise

Look, so time apart is what is best.

Denise text to Henry

Henry, you are my best friend!  How can you just leave?

Henry's text to Denise

I can not stand in your way.

Denise text to Henry

Henry, you are never in my way.

I am on the train now.

I am here at the train station, which train are you on anyway?

I am going to Chicago!

 The train Henry is on pulls away from the station, and Denise watches him leave in dismay. She can not understand it.  

  Denise calls out,  "Wait, Henry!  Please, do not go!" She sobs as his train goes out of sight. 

 As Henry goes to Chicago, he sighs and thinks,  I will miss you Denise. 

Denise can not believe he left and returns home sad. She wishes he was still here.

Two days later, Denise text to Henry...You were never in my way!

I am at work, sorry I will have to text you later.

Ok, I will wait to hear from you.

   Denise's parents are too happy about her broken engagement.  She leaves in an apartment by herself now. Her parent's debt has been paid off by her ex-fiance Justin.

  When will you come to your senses and realize Justin is good for you?

I do not love Justin. I never have and never will for that matter.

Daughter, your father and I never did approve of that poor man you call a friend!

His name is Henry!  He is my best friend and I care about him!  How dare you talk about him that way!
