Nandini was sitting in the class but her whole attention was on the previous day incident and Manik's words. One side Manik seems so genuine to her and on the other side Aliya's words were ringing in her head...

" Why was Aliya saying that? Does Manik really have some Evil intentions behind his behaviour. But yesterday I felt so peaceful in his arms, the way he consoled me no one has ever did that. Navu and Baba are the only people who care for me. Now all of a sudden Manik came into my life nd whenever he is near me my heart starts doing somersault. He apologized to me but he was not sorry because he ragged me, instead he was guilty becoz he came to know about my weakness... i dont know how to trust him. My instincts are saying jst to give him one chance. But one part of my brain completely opposes it...kya kru me ayappa?....."
her thought process broke when she heard her teachers voice..

"Nandini are you there", this was the third time Raghav called her.

She immediately looked at him nd nodded her head.

Raghav sighed.

" Nandini what are you doing? you aren't paying attention at all. This is my class not ur dreamland, okk??"

She lowered her head on his scoldings and asked for sorry in her sign language. Since all the teachers knew about her condition and that she is a scholarship student..so he didn't say anything else and started teaching again whereas Nandini was desperately waiting for the class to end so that she can clear up her head.

"Yrr when will her class end??", Mukti asked frustratingly.

They were sitting on their usual spot in canteen, sure to go ahead with their plan of asking for an apology from Nandini but there was no sign of her.

Ca: seriously Mukti Tujhe lagta hai ki wo Yahan canteen mein aayegi after whatever we did to her.

Al: Cabir is right. I don't think she will come here. we should go and search for her in the college.

Manik hurriedly came to them.

Ma: guys I got her schedule from princi's office. Since the new session has started this week, all the freshers would be called in the auditorium for princi's lecture, let's go there.

Ridz who was also sitting with them got highly frustrated with all the attention Nandini was getting. So she stood up to go.

Ri: Guys you go ahead I'm not coming.

Everyone knew why she was saying this. It was the first time Manik shouted at her. Ever since she joined Space, Fab5 had been so friendly with her as she was Manik's childhood friend and his neighbour too. Though she was not the part of Fab5's music band but all of them has accepted her in their group so none can see her sad and wanted Manik to sort out things with her.

Manik sighed.

Ma: Ridz mein.....

Before Manik could say anything she grabbed her bag and walked out.

Al:Ridz is very sad with all the happenings. Manik you shouldn't have shouted on her.

Cabir too supported her.

Ca: Exactly I know whatever she said was not right but she is our friend Manik and you....you always took special care of her as you are with her from childhood and All of a sudden you behaved so badly that's why she is hurt.

Ma: Don't worry guys I'll make it up for her but for now I really need to talk to Nandini. I know Ridz is hurt and I'll manofy her, I promise but right now all I'm thinking about is Nandini. She had to bear so much without any fault. I just want to free her from her pain.

Dhruv and Cabir nodded but Mukalya were way too shocked with Manik's declaration as this was the first time Manik was giving someone priority over his friends.

Mu: what do you mean Manik?? For Nandini you will ignore your friend. Itni important ho gyi wo tere liye??

Ma: Mukti what are you saying?? You know na jb bhi Ridz naraz hoti hai, she doesn't talk immediately..infact many time she doesn't even talk for days. Aur ye Pehli Baar Nahin Hua Hai. I always manofy her when her anger calms down nd she needs time for this.

Al: But Manik Tum Pehle Kabhi bhi kisi ke liye itna concerned nhi hue, except ur friends. And all of a sudden tum Nandini ki itni care kyu kr rhe ho? What does she mean to you??

Manik smiled.

Ma: Aliya even you all are worried for her. Tum bhi to usse aplologize krna chahte ho na. I'm not the only one guys.

Al: yeah but we are not as desperate as you Manik. It seems like wo Tumhari lover ho.

Cabir laughed at her statement.

Ca: Aliya Mukti Tum Logon ko kya ho gaya hai Kyon bechare Manik Baba Ke Piche Pade Ho. You know some feelings can't be expressed in words. Or Manik to waise bhi abhi Majnu bn gya hai.

He and Dhruv laughed while Mukalya make whatever faces and our hero is blushing. He lowered his head nd before his The Manik Malhotra image gets spoiled, he changes his expression nd gives a punch to Cabir.

Ma: Ho Gaya Tera. Chal ab let's go to auditorium.

Ca: han to a raha hun na vaise bhi to Kahan chain Se Mujhe Kuch khane dega.

Fab 5 reaches the auditorium nd found all the freshers standing waiting for the princi to come.

They also searched for a while and finally Cabir spotted Nandu.

"Wo dekh wo rhi teri item", he whispered in Manik's ear.

While Manik glared at him.

Ca: Chal Theek Hai Teri item nahi Meri Bhabhi.

Manik shook his head at his best friend's Nautanki nd goes to her.

He slowly reaches to her pushing away the crowd and holds her arm.

Nandu looks at him startled at his actions.

"Please come with me", he slowly whispers in her ear...

While Nandu just nodded her head in no pointing towards the stage indicating about the lecture. But Manik paid no heed to her disapproval nd dragged her with him in a corner.

Nandini was confused and started beating him on his arm.

Manik smiled at her frustrated expression as she was looking a cuteness ki dukaan to him.

"Bs bhi kro, itni cute lgogi toh me tmhe kha gya to??" He spoke intensely.

While Nandu's mouth was wide open at his shameless talks. She turned to the other side annoyed at his careless expressions.

Manik rubbed his hair not knowing how to start.

"Hmm....Nandini.....wo....i....i mean....no...I was just saying that....aagh...kaise bolu....", he stopped his stammering session when he saw her walking away.

He immediately stood in front of her

Ma: Nandini please listen to me once. Uske bad I won't stop you...please.

Nandu looked at him nd slowly nodded her head in yes.

Manik took a deep breath nd holds her hand and caressed the rope marks. His eyes teared up.

"I....I'm sorry...", these words escaped his throat unknowingly although his voice was shaky due to guilt.

Nandu looked at his face and found tears running down his cheeks.

She slowly raise her hands to wipe them nd nodded her head in no nd did some sign language which obviously Manik couldn't understand. So he immediately took out a pocket diary from his jeans pocket and a pen..

Ma: Wo.. I thought it would be handy.

Nandini took diary from him nd start writing while Manik was just looking at her with love filled Eyes.

Na: you dont need to cry for me. I know you are planing somthing tbhi you took care of me and even apologized. See I'm sorry but please now stop this for once and all. Mujhe Aadat Nahin Hai Logon Ke loving behaviour ki nd i dont want to get attached with you. So just leave me alone please.

She handed the diary to him nd waited for his reaction so that she can end all this.

Manik laughed sadly.

Ma: so Tumhen lagta hai I am pretending but kya tmhe mjpe thoda bhi trust nhi hai. Ye sb jo me kr rha hu wo koi plot Nahin Hai Nandini I genuinely care for you. See i know its very difficult for you to trust me bt just once think what if I am genuinely sorry. Kya tm tb bhi mje ek chance nhi dogi.

Nandini was just looking at his face trying to find some sort of pretense as Alia's words affected her. But she could only see honesty in him. The way he consoled her yesterday cannot be a pretence at all.

She took the diary.

"My baba says never get influenced with what others say and see the story by yourself. Maybe i also need to do the same. Ok you want a chance right...fine I'll give you a chance. I'll trust you once in a hope that you'll never break it."

Manik smiled reading it.

Ma: I promise I will never break your trust. You don't know how happy I am knowing that you finally are ready to give me a chance. You were right Nandini that bullying someone can not be right whether he had reasons or not.

"And thats why we all came to apologize to you...", Cabir came from behind.

Al: and also to ask sorry for that bullying. Plz forgive us.

Dh: Nandini Humne Tumhare Sath Jo Bhi Kiya usme Tumhara Nahin Hamara fault tha. We were wrong thinking that bullying is fun bt u made us realize that our fun can be so bad to others.

To say Nandini was shocked would be an understatement, she couldn't believe whatever she was seeing. Fab5 who behaved like monsters with her, like literally apologizing to her and also accepting their mistakes.

Manik comes close to her.

Ma: we all have realised our fault Nandini. will you forgive us please??
