---Shreya's POV---

I was finally back home, but I had to take rest as per doctor's orders. 

I decided to get up and walk around for a bit. 

"What are you doing up?" Atif asked.

"You can't expect me to lay down all day," I said. 

"I expect you to listen to what the doctor told you to do," he said. 

"No!"I said. "I'm bored and there is nothing to do."

And before I could say anything, I was being carried onto the bed.

"Stay here. This is where the doctor has told you to stay," he said. 

"You do know that I can get up again, right?" I asked. 

"Tell you what, I will go bring us something to eat and then we will watch a film together," he said.

"YES!" I said agreeing with his plan. 

I chose a film while he was out getting food. He didn't say where I had to lay down so I lied on the sofa waiting for him. 

"You can't stay in one spot. Can you?" He asked walking in. 

"I tried," I told him. "It's hard to stay in one spot."

We both got our food and he sat next to me. 

"So what movie did you pick?" He asked.

"I'm okay with any Harry Potter film," I said. 

"Alright," he said and we chose the last one part 2 since we hadn't seen it. 

I cuddled next to him and watched the film like that after I was done eating. 

***Time Skip***

Atif's POV

3 months had gone by since Shreya was hospitalized and I made all my work be transferred so it was work at home. 

We had now been in a relationship over a year and sometimes she still does thing to piss me off and it works, but the difference is neither of us can stay mad at the other person for to long. 

"Is your lazy a*s ready yet?" She asked.

"I am ready, but as you can see because you took forever I have now started this report so you better let me finish it," I said. 

"We have to go!" She repated.

"I don't understand why I have to go? It's a baby shower. Can't you just go alone?" I asked.

"It's Ryan and Alisha's aka your best friend and sister-in-law/my best friend," she said.

"Fine," I said and we left.

We arrived to the their destination and I was happy that he booked a place by the water.

We met up with the others.

"Atif, you give us a name as well," Alisha said.

"Why me?" I asked.

"Because your gonna be her uncle," she said.

Where the hell is Shreya when you need her? She's coloring away in some coloring book.

"What names do you have so far?" I asked.

"Here," she said and handed me a whole list of them.

"Damn! Why do you need more?" I asked.

"Just pick one," she said.

"Mannat. I like that one," I said.

"Perfect," she said and left.

I looked back over to where Shreya was but she was gone.

See, she can't stay in one spot!

"Hey bro, come have a drink," Ryan said.

"Your drinking on your daughter's baby shower?!" I yelled at him, but not to loud.

"So what? It's tiring being almost a father. Your wife is need of something always," he said.

"Well, that's just the nine months. Think about it afterwards. Ryan, your gonna be a father. It's time to put the drinks down and remember that your gonna have a daughter to raise," I said.

He put it down.

"Good," I said. "Your going to the first guy that she sees and learns everything from so it's important your a good role model."

I had no idea my wife had heard everything.

A few minutes later she was called on stage to sing. I made her pursue music over law, because she was much more patient about it.

We all cheered once she was done.

The open dance floor had started.

"Come," she said dragging me away.

"What happen?" I asked.

"I wanna go home,"she said.

"Why?" I asked.

"It's just they're talking about being parents and grandparents. I'm really missing my mom and dad," she said.

I hugged her right away.

"That was the hardest performance I did. I felt like crying the whole time,"she said.

"But you did so well," I said.

"Thanks," she said.

"Come on. Let's take you home and get your mind off of everything," I said giving her a kiss.

"I'm so lucky to have you. I love you," she said.

"I feel the same way," I said.
