---Atif's POV---

This week I had been helping Ryan get ready for his wedding.

"So how have you been managing this week without Shreya?" He asked.

"It's actually been pretty good. Like too good!" I said.

"Atif, why did you get married if all your going to do is hate her? And then you won't divorce her either," he said.

"It's simple," I said. "I want to make her life hell."

"I wouldn't ever be able to do that with my wife. I mean, girls leave behind their family and friends and have to adapt to the lifestyle of the guy she is married to. I just can't ever do that," he said.

Oh, so he's going to lecture me now on how I should treat my wife.

"Hey guys," Aarav said joining us.

"Hey," we said.

"Anything I can do?" He asked.

"Show up on time," Ryan said and I agreed with him.

"Everything is done," I said.

"Well, I will show up to the wedding on time," Aarav laughed.

"He's probably going to be late to that as well," Ryan said.

We laughed at Aarav.

"I will now," Aarav said and left.

---Shreya's POV ---

I had my phone open and a message saved as a draft since yesterday. I was debating whether or not to message Atif or if I should just show up alone.

I ended up deleting everything and decided that I should just go alone. I needed to show him that I don't need him.

I never told my friends about how our relationship is going minus one person.

I feel that it's important to keep your personal life personal. That's the way people will stay out of your life.

He can text me if he needs me. I don't him. Let him see that he is the one who needs me. I have no problem showing up alone if I have to.

Someone is going to have to put this guy in his place.

---Atif's POV---

Still no call or text. Is she thinking that I'm supposed to message her? She's the one who needs me. I don't need her. I can show up with any girl and I'm sure nobody will have a problem with that.

"Hey," Alisha said.

"Oh hey," I said.

"Is Shreya coming to the wedding?" She asked.

"Of course. Your her friend and she wouldn't miss it," I said.

"I'm just worried, because she hasn't texted anyone about anything," she said.

"She's with her parents so she is probably busy," I said.

"True," she said.

"Anyways, thanks for helping us get everything ready," she said.

"Please don't say thanks," I said.

Since everything was done everyone went home.

The pre-wedding events kick off tomorrow. Let's see if she even manages to show up.
