Woozi closed his notebook as the meeting came to a finish. Looking over at Minhyun, he stretched his arms out and asked with excitement, "How about we get some ambrosia since dinner time is approaching?"

Minhyun turned his head towards the other as he responded with a scoff, "You want me to live longer than I'm supposed to?"

"Well, it was worth a shot."

Aphrodite laughed gently at the two as she stood up from the chair and made her way towards her son. Minhyun watched his mother as she gently placed her hand on top of his head and said with a smile, "My son needs to lighten up. We got all the clients satisfied. Go get some rest."

Woozi nodded with excitement to what Aphrodite suggested but Minhyun shook his head as he rested his palm against his mother's hand. "I got to keep working so that I don't get older."

Woozi sighed heavily to himself at the thought of working overtime again. He's been doing constantly for centuries as he wished the other could finally give him a week off rather than a few days off every decade. Aphrodite sensed the other's hesitation before she commanded sternly, "It's an order. Tonight you will rest and eat some food. I will watch over Love Agency tonight. You will not go against your mother's command."

MInhyun knew well that he was not allowed to disobey any of the gods and goddesses' commands so he immediately obeyed while gaining a cheery smile from Woozi. They all left the meeting hall afterward as Aphrodite made her way towards Minhyun's office as Woozi dragged the male out towards the exit of the agency. He was determined to get some sweet nectar and ambrosia once they hit the town of Olympus by calling the daily taxi owned by the Gray Sisters.

Minhyun despised it whenever he got down due to their reckless driving but Woozi wanted to leave the skies of Seoul so that they could enter into Olympus where the real party was at. After paying their fees, the pair entered one of the fanciest restaurants that Dionysus was in charge of for his vineyards and wine productions. The two ate quietly without much speaking as they were thoroughly entertained by the singing water nymphs that were residing in the marble foundation inside. The view of Olympus was stunning as they were sitting by the windows to view the beautiful rays of Apollo's sun shining brightly.

After the dessert of nectar ice cream was served, Minhyun wiped his lips with a napkin before taking a sip of the fine wine that Dionysus offered to his guests. Woozi was singing along to the lyrics of the songs as they were his most favorite. It was truly something that Minhyun appreciated whenever Woozi tried to force him to do things for his benefit.

The end soon came as the pair drunkenly made their way towards their living space of the hotel located right in between Olympus and Seoul. They prepared to head to bed straight as they arrived as they both laid down on their separate beds. Silence seeped in continuously as it was prevalent to understand that both were thinking of the same thing as the wine lingered in their bodies.

"What was the exact reason for the curse?"

Minhyun stared at the empty ceiling as Woozi's question echoed throughout the room. He wished he could answer straight away without finding a tug within his chest. But it always was something that made Minhyun weak because it was his identity. "The curse happened because my mother believes so much in love. I don't. I never wanted to be part of love until someone challenged me to fall in love. The challenger seemed confident that I will fall in love and alas I did."

"With who?"

"When my mother had me, I was taken care of by her but also Apollo and Artemis found great pleasure of taking care of me. I fell in love with Artemis, who you know...swore to never be in love with anyone."

Woozi knew the story by heart but at times he wished to listen to it over and over again as he could felt the pain deepening within Minhyun's tone as he got into the details. He never once interrupted the male because he understood that Minhyun despised being interrupted, especially about his curse. Minhyun paused for a second before continuing on as he closed his eyes slowly, "Artemis rejected me once I grew the age of where I felt confident to confess. But mother believed that I could fall in love with someone else. That never happened."

"Why is that?"

"Because I swore by the Sphinx River that I will kill myself when Artemis rejected me...in which she did. I was to die right there and then but my mother saved my life by begging Zeus and Hades. The big three then decided to bless and save me as I was to live forever and ever alongside with my mother. But they cursed me by also making it a reminder that if I ever fall in love with anyone like a nymph or even a mere human, I was to die the cruelest death that any man or creature dealt."

Woozi had his mouth open at the end of the story as it was a natural response to how Minhyun's curse came to be. It didn't affect Minhyun as much to the first time he had to deal with it. But, Woozi knew well of his troubles because it took him many centuries to get over his feelings for Artemis. He and Artemis barely converse now as he knew that he would feel the aches the dead soul within him start to tackle him whenever he does.

Woozi responded soon after with a sigh, "I know that Aphrodite is doing her best to break the curse....even if it took her a long time."

Minhyun chuckled softly to his comment as he replied back with a fake cheerful tone, "She's been doing that for centuries. The three will never change their minds. You know this by now since you and I started to work at Love Agency from the beginning. Wouldn't you want to find your soulmate though?"

Woozi turned his head to face the other with a serious expression as he retorted, "I'm not human. There's no such thing as soulmates."

Minhyun turned his head to the face the other too as he replied back with a slight tease, "We can ask my mother to set one up for you."

Woozi rolled his eyes quietly before facing the wall to shut the other up. He knew that Minhyun would only joke around like that if he's reminded that he himself can never find his soulmate. Minhyun turned back to stare at the ceiling quietly as the words of his curse echoed loudly through his head as he remembered the very night he was cursed by the three.

"Dear Father, Hades, and Poseidon. Please save my son. I will do anything!"

Aphrodite got onto her knees and placed her face onto the ground shamefully as she begged to spare her dying son's life as they were all in the middle of the court. Hades did not say a word as Poseidon yelled at her to quietly leave without interrupting anything. She continued to cry desperately for her son's life as Minhyun could feel the tears of his mother's eyes starting to sting painfully against his skin as she kept her son's hand near her cheek. After many pleads, Zeus came to the decision to spare Minhyun's life with the curse being put on place.

"If you were to ever fall in love with anyone starting from a nymph to an actual mere human, you will die the cruelest death that any man or creature has never dealt."

From that day on, Minhyun was never to be seen until he recovered back into his original state. He then was forced to work at Love Agency so that he would find purpose once more without having to mope around painfully for Artemis. That was the day when he decided also to never care about his own soulmate and planned to make each soulmate the perfect match as he could never fall in love with anyone.
