Chapter 38 ~ Dil sammal zara

"How the hell can I?! She is my wife damnit!" roared Shivaay.

"Mr.Oberoi your wife is completely all right! We found traces of alcohol in her blood which caused internal complications in her body. She is perfectly fine but she is very weak, please take care of her. And remember she must never consume alcohol in future." the doctor strictly ordered.

"Thank you so much doctor!" said Shivaay relieved.

Later he went to the room to check his wife. Slowly caressing her face, he confessed what he felt,"I felt as though my breath was stopping when I saw you unconscious Anika!"

Just then Anika regained conscious,
"Billuji what am I doing here!?" She asked a bit surprised.

"Anika you fainted a while back." spoke Shivaay very much concerned.

"Just because I fainted, you brought me to hospital? You could have woke me up by sprinkling water or something!" pouted Anika, hearing this, Shivaay chuckled.

"I hate coming to hospital billuji. Promise me that you will never bring me to hospital for such petty reasons?" asked Anika very innocently.

"Pinky promise Anika!" promised Shivaay.

Gauri reached the studio. As she entered inside, she saw Om making a sculpture of a beautiful girl standing with a pot placed on her hip.

"Wow" exclaimed Gauri admiring the sculpture to which she heard back from Om, "Thanks Gauri."

"Om you are such a great artist. No wonder I'm a great fan of yours." complimented Gauri still amazed by the sculpture.

And suddenly an awkward silence overflowed the studio. Trying to break the silence,"How is your professional life going Gauri?" asked Om curiously.

"Good Om! Just a bit hectic these days." said Gauri smiling.
"Om I'm sorry about yesterday! I was just upset over things!" apologized Gauri as she continued further.

"I can understand. Sometimes anger dominates situations." saying Om assured Gauri.

In Chowdhary mansion, Khushi was packing her bags to go back to Bangalore when Arnav entered her room.

"What is it Arnav?" asked Khushi still not looking at him as she was upset that she was leaving the family.
"Wow Khushi. You didn't see me but you know I came!" said Arnav quite surprised.
"Yeah that's because I feel you!" blurted out Khushi biting her tongue few seconds later.

"I mean..." She was about to say something but was cut off by Arnav.
"You mean to say you sense me?" Arnav coming closer to Khushi.

"A-am I sensometer?" asked Khushi sarcastically though stuttered initially.
"What the!" Arnav almost shouted.

"I love you Arnav!" confessed Khushi not able to control her feelings for him anymore.
"I-I love you too Khushi" saying Arnav jumped in happiness at the sudden confession twirling Khushi around.

When Dadi, Pinky and Jhanvi came back from the temple they found no one at the mansion.

"Where did billu go? Anika puttar is not well also! Where did he take her?" questioned Dadi tensed.

They were just about to call Shivaay when the couple entered the mansion.

"Shivaay where did you take my Anu?" asked Pinky concerned.

Shivaay "Mom, actually Anika fai..." but was cut off by Anika,"Ma we just went out to meet my friend!" She covered up while the rest were relieved.

Later in the room,

"I feel guilty billuji! Actually I hate lying but I didn't want ma to know I fainted. She would become tensed unnecessarily." said Anika a bit upset.

"It's okay Anika you didn't want to upset anyone. So that doesn't mean you lied." said Shivaay assuring her.

At the studio,"Gauri if you don't mind can I ask you something?" asked Om trying to sound casual.

"Yeah ask Om! You needn't ask permission for that." chuckled Gauri.

"It's about the girl I spoke to you few days back!" said Om hesitant.

"Continue Om!" said Gauri not reacting much.

Om said, "Actually she's a singer too. But I think she sings only private albums! I tried a lot to know about her but she always keeps herself away from the outside world!" to which Gauri nodded, feeling the information interesting.

Om continued " She sang the album named 'Dil sammal zara' where she expressed her understanding of love. She only wrote the lyrics, composed the song and sang it." saying he showed her the album cover which had the singer's eyes alone.

A/N ~ That was the painting he made of that girl.

"I fell in love with her eyes, her voice, her everything Gauri" Om blurted out, then realized to whom he told.
"I'm sorry but I seriously don't know what kind of feeling I have for her!" said Om still confused.

"Om you will find her soon! And that day you will understand your feelings for her." said Gauri assuring him.
