            WANDA MAXIMOFF WAS FAMILIAR WITH DEATH, having lost everyone she ever loved. Her parents were killed when she was a child, her twin brother died while helping save the world, and her love, the Vision, was sacrificed in order for trillions of beings to be erased from their planets. Left without anyone to guide or support her, Wanda fell into a deep hole of grief and despair. In her anguish, she unleashed a burst of power that inadvertently affected the small town of Westview, all in an attempt to bring back the one she loved most.

Thanatos, one of the many walking personifications of death, was intimately familiar with the concept. He had served the god of the underworld, Hades, for millennia, enjoying the perks of immortality and powerful abilities. However, the downside was his lack of companionship or a place to call home. Despite his longevity, he had never failed in his duty of guiding souls to the afterlife.

However, all this changed when he felt a strong connection drawing him to a small field in Salem, Massachusetts. There, he discovered a woman lying unconscious on the grass—a woman he had helped cross over to the other side centuries ago.

I want to point out that I do not support the whitewashing of Wanda Maximoff in the MCU, as well as things Elizabeth Olsen has said about her character and Romani people, hence the faceclaim change. Wanda Maximoff is my love. I love the Scarlet Witch so much that every time Wanda did a massive burst of magic in wandavision I freaked out and actually cried haha. I also thought she was amazing in MOM, and I just wanna see more and more of her ugh
Now I haven't decided whether I'll make this a platonic book or a romantic one. I have seen both wandavision and Multiverse of Madness and I still think Wanda needs therapy so it may lean more towards a friendship/witch pals book. I guess we'll figure it out as we go!!!
