"Daddy look at me!" Kylie shouted at the middle of the trail ahead of them ,he smiled up at then her looked behind her at Edward. "I see you sweetie." he said as we reached the peak, she ran to him; he swing her up into his arm, wrapping the other arm around my waist, she laughed as she was picked up, she wrapped both of her little arms around both of us, squeezing us together to take a picture.  "Picture, mommy!! picture!" she laughed "OK, OK." I said  reaching into my jacket pocket for the camera. "Smile Daddy." she said as I snap the picture, I turned it around to look at it; Edward put Kylie down and she ran ahead "Not to far sweetie." I yelled to her " I won't mommy." she called back over her shoulder. 

 As we caught up to Kylie at the top of the trail she said, " Look mommy and daddy." as she was  pointing to a hawk flying over head. "we see it baby." Edward said picking her up again as we watched the sun get lower in the sky " Should we head back now?" I said looking back at the trail as the shadows of the trees got dark and longer, "A few more minutes mommy?" Kylie asked as she took pictures of just everything, the grass, tree roots, herself, the leaves on the ground and on the tree. "Please its so pretty here." she said as she looked over at me with her puppy dog eyes.  "we can wait just few more minutes." Edward said as he hugged me  from behind. "so what do you think about getting married  here?" he asked kissing on my neck. I smiled then sighed "Can you picture your sister and mom hiking up here? or your father for that matter?" I asked holding on to his arms. "Good point." he said watching Kylie take pictures of bugs crawling  on a tree. "and you haven't asked me yet." I said looking over my shoulder at him "Because i already know your answer." he said smiling at her. "Then why not ask then? And it still would be nice if you asked me." I said pinching his side, he tighten his arm around me, nipping me on my neck in reiterate "Hey!" I squealed.

  "Look this way mommy." Kylie said, i turned to see her pointing the camera at us, I smiled as the flash went off. "Come on baby, its time to go." I said looking back at the sky as it got darker. "OK." she said skipping over to us, I picked her up and we head back towards  our camp site.

Edward got the fire going, Kylie sat near the creek and i sat in one of the wooden chairs near where he was trying to start the fire, "So when and where would you like to have your wedding?" he asked me as he was coming to sit down next to me once it got it going. "Well i haven't been properly asked yet." i said looking over at  Kylie, to see him smiling at me. "Alright then." he said as he got up and walked over to where Kylie was playing.

Kylie and him talked for a minute. Kylie started jumping up and down before jumping up into his arms, "Okay, okay." he said hugging her back, he put something in her pocket  before putting her down,. Kylie ran over to the other chair and sat down, i looked from her to him as he walked over to me. "Danielle Carter will you do me the honor of becoming Mrs. Edward Brogen?" he asked as kneeled down on one knee, Kylie giggled as she pulled a small blue velvet box out of her pocket and opened it, revealing a heart shaped Celtic and  claddagh engagement ring. My mouth dropped open, the flash of the camera snapped me out of  my shock, "Wha- Wha- how?" i stuttered gasping like a fish out of water, Edward smiled as he took the box from Kylie, i closed my mouth as he took the ring out of the box, sliding it on to my finger; i looked at him as tears ran down my face. 

"You are serious about this?" I asked him, wiping the tears from my face "Don't cry mommy," kylie said as she hugged me "it's supposed to make you happy." "I am happy, these are happy tears. Did you know baby?" i asked her hugging her back " I helped daddy pick it out." she said with a big smile on her face "Do I get to be the flower girl?"she asked "of course, i wouldn't choose anyone else." i said looking at the ring on my finger. I leaned over and kissed Edward on the mouth, he pulled me to him and hugged both me and kylie. "I love you both. Both of daddy's girls." he said smiling, Kylie turned in our arms "Smile." she said as she turned the camera to face us, the flash went off.
