This is going to be the first chapter of the rewrite. I feel like I could have written this book better, so after all this time I am finally going to rewrite it! Although the rest of it won't be published for a while. But I might write the next few in this, who knows. I just wanted to publish this because.....I wanted to. The night was cold and cruel. As always. So cruel. She hated this world. She wanted it gone......But then again.....Her daughters giggled and smiled at her with her bright eyes. She has her father's eyes. Her father's bright and green eyes. She sighed."Your father can give you a better life than I could have ever tried to give you. I love you. "She whispered as she let the little basket, bent down, and kissed her daughter on the head."Behave for your daddy. I have to go. It's better this way. I promise you that."Harumi said. Don't cry. She told herself. Don't be weak. Don't be soft. Don't. Don't. DON'T! Just as she was about to leave, she turned around to now her crying daughter.

"Tell your father he is an idiot. And......That my feelings toward him were real too."

Lloyd shot his eyes open as a piercing baby's cry filled the night. He sat up."Okay. Either I am going crazy from the lack of sleep or a baby really is crying."Lloyd whispered to himself. I have to check out just to be sure.....He thought to himself as he got up running to the cries continues. He then rushed out to the court yard, opened the door and gasped. There was a basket, he lifted it up, and settled it down facing him. Inside was an infant little girl. And she looked just like him. The little girl stopped crying finally, looked at him, and tilted her tiny head. She's so cute. Lloyd then reached out for her, carrying her in his arms rocking her until she fell asleep.

"Lloyd! What are you doing out here at 3:00 fu-"Kai. Remember. Lloyd technically is still a child."Pixal reminded him."Fine! Freaking am and what the hell was that crying all about-"Lloyd then turned around holding the child, giving them his 'I am totally inncoent in this situation.' He did it whenever he got in trouble as a kid. And right now he was in trouble.

"Oh you've got to be shitting me, Lloyd."

"So let me get this straight.......I am married to Jay. Cole and Kai are dating. Zane and pixal are dating.....And you are the ONLY single one in this ninja family......And you have a child that you have NO IDEA who the mother is......That I am going to murder like a pig for touching you, by the way. But I will get to her later when I am finished with you, LLOYD GARMADON!"Nya roared."Hey! I am as clueless about this as you guys are! I haven't dated anyone in my life!"Lloyd defended."And yet there lies a BABY! Why do we just get babies like this? We already had to deal with Master Wu! Oh my FRIZ he's going to be so mad when he gets back from his mission!"Jay panicked."Friz? Really?"Cole asked rolling his eyes.

"Don't act like you don't steal comics about him!"Jay shot back."Your comics? They were mine to begun with! And you said I was too 'young' to be reading comics!"Lloyd exclaimed."Well, I was stupid back then!"Jay exclaimed back."Back then?"Kai whispered to Cole making Cole laugh."Okay comic book nerds! Can we please get back on topic? Lloyd has a BABY! And you guys are talking about....Comics?!"Nya demanded."Pretty much, yeah."Kai said while Cole was nodding. Nya facepalm."Whoa, whoa! We don't know for sure that it is my kid. It could be anyone else's!"Lloyd said."Pixal and I could do a DNA test."Zane suggested."There! Do it tomorrow. It's too late for any of this crap. And Lloyd? That baby is sleeping with you!"Kai exclaimed."What?! Why???"Lloyd complained."Because until that DNA test is done, that baby is yours. Besides, I can tell she likes you."Nya said as they all went to bed.

Lloyd opened the door staring at the crying baby."Shhhh...."Lloyd whispered as he picked her up, rocking her once again trying to calm her down. Unfortunately, she did not calm down as easily as she did only just an hour ago."What's your name, little one? And who is your mother?"Lloyd asked her. He then finally noticed a small note in the basket, he then adjusted the baby, making his other hand free for the time being."Flora."Lloyd read out loud. He looked at her as she gave one more loud cry before looking at him with teary eyes."That's a pretty name, don't you think? I think it means spring or something."He told her. He then laid the note on the basket, and continued to rock her while singing the only song he knew that a baby would liked. Spider in the house.

That was the percentage of if Lloyd was her father. She was 100% Lloyd Garmadon's daughter."I can't believe it."Lloyd said sitting down on a chair."Neither can I. Seems like yesterday I was stuck babysitting you....And now you have a kid."Nya muttered. There were all sorts of emotions in the monastery air. All.....Emotions they couldn't explain."Guys. I don't know how.......How could it be so......irresponsible and immature.....But whoever is the mother........I don't regret it. Not when I look at Flora."Lloyd said.

"So, yell at me all you want. Hell, you can kick me out if you want."Lloyd added."Lloyd, we are kind of mad.-"Uhhhh......More than kind of mad."Kai said."But we would never kick you out. We are not your parents. We are not Darkly's. We were the ninja who raised you. And NOTHING will ever change that."Nya said."I got a little bit different version of that last night...."Lloyd mumbled."That's because it was freaking 3:00 am!"Jay exclaimed."Look, the point is....We love you bud, even though you were a bit irresponsible and annoying. And we will do anything for you. And now our niece!"Kai said."So, your hothead switch is off?"Lloyd asked."Don't push it!"Kai warned him. Lloyd put his hands up."Okay. Thanks guys. Am I grounded?"Lloyd asked."Oh totally! WAY grounded."Everyone said at once. Lloyd groaned. They then turned around seeing a giggling Flora, smiling at them."I already like this kid."Cole said smiling."And I already love her."Lloyd added still smiling.

This was a perfect moment.....Lloyd thought. But who could Flora's mother possiblity be? Why didn't she stay with Flora and him? Did she think their daughter was a failure? The least she could do was like meet Lloyd.......But did Lloyd really want to know who she was? He didn't know any answers, only questions.
