Harumi's povs

"FREEZE!"Screamed an officer, before I could answer. I had always feared that this day would come. That they would find me, and lock me away. Not that I didn't deserve it. The officers came toward me, and put me in their car, while Lloyd was calling my name. I looked out the window, and saw him standing there, and I thought that I saw tears rolling off his face.

Lloyd's povs

I walked home alone, kicking myself for not trying harder."We should have told them she was alive, and sorted it all out."I mumbled. But that was the past, and right now sucks. I walked home, wiping away the rest of my tears, feeling like a baby for crying. I sighed. I looked at the moon."I was so close. But fate won't let it happen, will it?"I asked. I looked down at the small box that held the ring."Well, I am not giving up. Ninja never quit. I never quit."I whispered. I then looked at the stars."Hang in there, Harumi. We are going to get you out of there...."I whispered. I then ran all the way home.

"She's what?!"Asked my mother."She's in jail...For now."I said."So, are you going to break her out?"Asked Kai."No! Well, maybe. If I need to. I am not giving up."I said. My mother looked at me. Something seemed different about her. Who knows, I don't know her that well because she doesn't bother sticking around. Even after the final battle, she didn't even bother, unlike my father. Sure, he was an evil war lock, but he stuck around at least. I shook off the feeling. I sighed, and went to Lea's room.

I rocked her back and forth."Ma. Ma."She goo."Shh. I promise you Lea, I will get your mom back. If it takes my last breath, I will do it."I whispered. There was a knock on the door."Come in."I said. Nya opened the door."How are you doing?"She asked."Fine."I lied. She looked at me."I see why you guys are a couple."She said.

"What does that mean?!"I demanded, taking my eyes off Lea."Think about it, Harumi hid her feelings almost all her life, and you hide yours. First with having to fight your father, then losing him, losing master Wu, Harumi, and now this. You both need to learn to talk to us. Whether you guys like it or not, you are all family. You need to open up to us."She said. I nodded. I knew if I started talking, I would burst into tears. I didn't want that, at least not now. I took my eyes back on Lea, who was asleep now.

Tears started to roll off my face."It's going to be okay, Lloyd."Nya said. I wiped them off."It's not just Harumi."I said in a soft tone."Then what is it?"Nya asked."When Lea comes of age. She will get my powers...."I said. I then turned to Nya."I am scared that the oni in me will take over....And we will....."I choked."Lloyd, that's never going to happen."She said."How do you know? Even before I knew....I always felt a darkness....And sometimes, dark is stronger than light."I whispered. 

Nya put her hand on my shoulder."You are right. I don't know. I don't really know the oni that is running in your blood. But I do know you. And I know that you never back down without a fight. You are strong, Lloyd. Like your parents. And I am sure Lea won't back down either."She said. I smiled."Maybe you should visit her, before the trail."She said."Yeah, I do need to talk something with her."I said with a smile."Thanks, Nya."I said."Anytime."She said."You should get some rest."She said."I am going to sleep with Lea. Just for tonight....If it's okay?"I asked."Of course, but where are you going to sleep?"She asked."I can just throw some blankets on the floor. And it would help her not cry."I said. She nodded. She left after that.

The next morning, I went over to Harumi's cell. We talked for a few minutes, just catching up. Then, we talked about her trail."Lloyd, I don't deserve to be free."She said."You do."I said, grabbing on her cell bars."But I did some horrible things. Lea doesn't deserve a mother like me. She deserves a father like you..."She said, touching my hand."I won't be the same without you. You are half of my whole. I need you."I said."And so are you. I love you, Lloyd Garmadon."She said."I love you too, Harumi Jade."I said. We put our heads against the bars.

Nya's povs

Jay and I followed Lloyd to meet Harumi."Look at them, Jay. They are soulmates."I said."Yeah, just like us."He said."We have to do something! If we don't, who knows what will happen!"I exclaimed."But what?"He asked."There has to be some kind of thing that proves Harumi has changed."She said."Girls are confussing."Said Jay. I stared at him."What?"I asked."You used to not care about her, then you were friends, then you hated her, and now you want to help her? I want to help her, but can you give me a sign?"He asked."Well, she's family now. Maybe we can be friends...But first we have to set her free."I said. 

Lloyd's povs

After I said my goodbyes to Harumi, I started to head out of the prison."Jay? Nya?!"I asked. They jumped a bit."What are you guys doing here?"I asked."We....Followed you. But we want to help you guys! Do you know anything that proves Harumi has changed?"Asked Nya. I thought for a bit."Yeah! When we were in the cell, Harumi told me about a family she saved, before the building fell!"I exclaimed."Do you remember the name of the family?"Asked Nya."I think it was the Rocksons."I said, now remembering."If we can get them to help us, maybe they will let Harumi go!"Exclaimed Jay."Alright. We have a plan. Ninja-GO!"I said. 

Jay's povs

The next day, we went over to the family's house. When we knocked on the door, a little boy answered."Mom! Dad! Some of the ninjas are at the door!"He called out, after he recovered from his shock. The mom stood by son."Ninjas. What can we do for you?"She asked."Um. My girlfriend-"Harumi Jade? Oh, yes. She saved us, we owe her our lives for what she did."The mom said, cutting Lloyd off."Great, because I need your help. She is going to jail, and her trial is really soon...So I was wondering if you guys would help her with her case?"Asked Nya."Of course. We will try to do everything we can. That is a promise."She said, looking at Lloyd."Thank you. You don't know how much it means to hear that you will help us."He said."She has kept our family together, it is the least we can do."She said. And with that, we said our goodbyes.

The day of the trial.....

Lloyd's povs

"Harumi Jade, how do you plead?"Asked the judge."She's changed!"I exclaimed."What's your proof?"He asked. Just then, the family then came in, and told their story."See? That's your proof!"I said."That proves nothing!"Yelled a person from the back. I took a deep breath."Alright. I see where all you are coming from. But what you don't know from her story is that I was the villain at the start."I said. I didn't hear anything, they were waiting for me to continue."Lloyd! What are you doing?!"Harumi asked in a hash whisper."Trust me."I whispered back.

"When I was an infant, my parents left me to go to a boarding school, for bad boys."I began. My friends looked at each other, worried."They taught me that the world is a very cruel place, and the only way to pass all the cruelty, was to be cruel to it back. And that's what I did. I released the snakes, and they released....."I said, trailing off. I heard some mutters and whispers."But if I never released those snakes, I would never become your green ninja. I would never have a place to call home. I would never have met the love of my life, Harumi Jade."I said. 

I then looked at her, and smiled."It's the same thing with her, if she never brought my father back, then something really awesome would never happen."I said."What happened?"Asked a person."I would rather not share that now."I said. I took a deep breath."Listen, I know it's all hard to forgive and forget. But I know Harumi. She is a strong, beautiful, and clever woman. And I know that if you all give her a chance. She can do great things."I said."So, who is willing to?"I asked. At first, no one raised their hands. 

Then, the family raised their hands, then my family, and one by one, all of the people in the room raised their hands. I smiled at the sight. The judge sighed."Lloyd Garmadon, if she-"She won't make any trouble, and if she does, which she won't..I will bring her down here myself."I said."Very well, Harumi Jade...You are free to go!"He said. They got Harumi's handcuffs off, and she went over to hug me."You did it, Lloyd!"She exclaimed."No, we did it!"I said."Let's go home, Lea misses you."Said Nya."She wasn't the only one."I said. She then kissed me on the cheek.

"Come on."I said."What about Lea?"She asked."Nya and Jay are taking care of her. I need to show you something."I said. I then took her hand."Wow. Stargazing!"She exclaimed. I then pulled out the box with ring."You know, you never answered my question."I said. I then kneel down."Harumi Jade, will you marry me?"I asked."Yes. Yes! A thousand times yes!"She exclaimed. We then kissed.

The next day, Harumi showed off the ring."Oooo! When's the wedding?"Asked Nya."We don't know yet. Nya, can you help us plan?"Asked Harumi."Of course, I will!"She exclaimed. I smiled. I looked at Harumi, she nodded."Are we missing something?"Asked Jay."Jay, Nya. When Harumi was in jail, we agreed to something."I said."What is it?"Asked Kai."Nya, Jay. We would like you two to be Lea's godfather and godmother!"Exclaimed Harumi."Really?"Asked Nya."Yes, in case something ever happened to us, Lea needs some parents. And you two will be perfect if something happens to us."I said. Jay and Nya both hugged us, and said thank you a million times. The others smiled. Finally, I have my family all together again. And nothing can go wrong...Right?
