After reading the announcement that their class was canceled, Jun-seo went home. He was the only one there when he got home, considering that Jungwon and Jake were still in their respective classes. He went to the living room and sat on the couch, fishing his phone out of his pocket before scrolling through TikTok.

He was only going to watch a few videos, but the app sucked him like a black hole, preventing him from stopping and minutes turned to hours. Before he knew it, it was already 2 p.m., and his stomach was growling.

But the fun of scrolling through thirty-seconds videos was too hard to resist that he ended up sitting for another thirty minutes. As he scrolled through TikTok, he stumbled upon Minji's video; the first one that 'naturally' appeared on his fyp. It was a video of her reviewing some cosmetic items.

Jun-seo wasn't usually one to go through a whole video of a product review, but for some 'reason', he watched the whole thing; the whole one minute and thirty seconds duration of the video twice. After realizing that, he finally scrolled up, and to his luck, it was Minji doing a stream.

She was at her place, judging on the dark blue wall behind her and a lot of stuffed animals on her bed in various sizes. She also seemed to have set her phone up on her table as he could see a brownish surface. Jun-seo decided that it was a good idea to watch it since he wasn't even following her, yet, and he was using an alias, so there was no way she would find out that it was him.

He couldn't be more surprised when he saw the numbers of people watching; it was almost 2k and gifts were being spammed, from the common ones like roses, finger-hearts, to some expensive ones, like the lion and the TTU (TikTok Universe).

"You guys sure have a lot of money to spend on someone online..." muttered Jun-seo, slightly impressed by Minji's fans' effort in getting her to say their names. He felt a sense of pride at the thought that he could see her in person, even getting her to say his name without even trying.

But what amused him the most was Jungwon in the comment with his alias, being a moderator for her. "Now that's cool..." he mused before sending a comment saying, 'hi'.

Of course, having more than a thousand viewers, it was easy for Minji to miss his comment. Just when his comment went up, a thousand more comments started flooding the chat. Now, Jun-seo wasn't someone who would usually stay in a person's stream for longer than fifteen minutes, but with Minji, he was staying longer than that even though all she did was talk.

An idea popped up in his head, and Jun-seo opened his Kakao. He sent Minji a message to see if she actually read it while also streaming. A few seconds later, a notification rang in the stream, and Minji looked at something beside the phone she was using.

"A moment, guys..." she said to her viewers before grabbing something. Jun-seo raised an eyebrow as she pulled out another phone with a blue rabbit casing. Her eyes moved around as she navigated the screen, only to smile a few seconds later.

Minji looked at the phone she was using to stream, and then back at the one in her hands. "Hold on, I need to reply to this text..." she muttered as her thumbs started tapping away on the screen.

an.j.seo: It seems like you are having fun interacting with your followers... kkkk 😆

k.mminji: Ahhh!!!

k.mminji: Are you watching my stream right now???

an.j.seo: it was recommended to me by TikTok HAHAHAHA

Jun-seo minimized the Kakao app and focused on the stream again, chuckling at Minji's reaction as she sent another message to him, and then putting the phone away. "Oh my gosh... this is so embarrassing," she muttered and covered her face.

"Guys, I think I will end the stream here for now. See you guys later!" she said to her followers and waved at them before reaching over to press something on her screen. "Thank you for tuning in!" she added before the stream ended.

Immediately after the stream ended, Minji called him. Jun-seo stared at his phone for a few seconds before chuckling. He cleared his throat and adjusted his voice before finally picking up the call.

"Hello?" his voice cracked.

Jun-seo quickly closed his eyes as he muttered something about him being an idiot.

Minji, on the other side, giggled upon hearing his voice cracking. "Yeah, hey," she said not long after. The two stayed quiet for the next few seconds before Minji started to talk again, "so... you saw my stream just now?"

"Yeah, I did," said Jun-seo, leaning against the couch while staring at the wall. They went quiet again after that as both tried to come up with things to talk about, but nothing came to Minji's mind. Jun-seo hummed softly and looked around the living room, only for his stomach to growl.

His eyes widened when he heard Minji chuckling from the other side of the call. Jun-seo's cheeks turned red, afraid that she might've heard his stomach growling. Well, he didn't have to wait long to get his answer as Minji cleared her throat. "Hey, I know a restaurant nearby that serves good meat—do you want to go with me?"

Minji might not address it directly, but Jun-seo knew that she suggested for him to come along because of what she heard. "Of course! I mean... sure, why not?" answered Jun-seo almost immediately, quickly composing himself as he was being a bit too excited at the prospect of going out with her.

"Great! I will see you at 6 p.m.," replied Minji.

Jun-seo nodded, "okay... just send me the location, and I will be there," he said.

"Okay... bye," answered Minji before ending the call.

"Bye."

As soon as the call ended, Minji placed her phone on her table and exhaled sharply, her back straightened. The smile on her face grew wider as she squealed and spun around on her swivel chair, standing up once she was facing her bed and jumping onto it.

Footsteps were heard from outside Minji's room, and when the door opened, Danielle peeked her head inside, "are you okay?" she asked, fixing her glasses while looking at Minji.

Hanni followed behind her and peeked her head from Danielle's shoulder, "it's your first day, and you are already losing it?" she chimed in.

Minji pushed herself up and sat on the edge of the bed. "What, no! I was just..." she couldn't finish her words before her lips curved into a sheepish smile.

It turned out that she didn't have to finish her words anyway for Danielle and Hanni to realize what she was talking about. They exchanged looks before nodding. "Ah, so it finally happened, huh?" mused Danielle with a teasing smirk.

"Ooh... got anything special planned?" joined Hanni in teasing Minji.

"No," said Minji, shaking her head. "We are just going to a restaurant and have BBQ. Then... well, we will see how it goes," she added while shrugging. Minji looked at the time on her wall and sighed, realizing that she still had a little over three hours left before she could see Jun-seo again.

Meanwhile, Jun-seo placed his phone aside and sighed contentedly, leaning against the couch with his arms crossed. He had no idea why he was so looking forward to seeing Minji—the thought of having dinner with her, for some reason, was exciting, and also quite nerve-wracking. He was unsure how things will turn out for them, but Jun-seo was positive that things will be in their favor.

The idea of going out with Minji wasn't exactly filling the hunger that Jun-seo was feeling at the moment, so he pushed himself up from the couch with a huff and made his way to the kitchen. While waiting for the time to go out, Jun–seo figured that a cup of instant noodles won't kill his appetite.

Back at Minji's shared apartment with her friends, she stepped out of her room with a few choices of clothes. "Guys, which one should I wear tonight?" she asked while spreading her arms. In her right arm, there were red, blue, and purple. On the other, there were black, gray, and white.

Danielle looked up from her tablet and furrowed her brows, tapping the stylus against her cheek while looking at the shirts. "You are going to a place where it could get hot, so... I would go with... that one," she said, pointing at the blue shirt.

"Why? I think black looks good on her," Hanni chimed in.

"I mean, it does. But it would absorb more heat," commented Danielle, looking at Hanni and then at Minji.

Minji huffed and looked at the clothes in her arms, "you know what..." she looked at her friends and smiled. "It was a mistake asking you guys," she chuckled and turned on her heels, walking toward her room again.

"Wear black, Minji! It will pair perfectly with whatever your boyfriend will be wearing!" exclaimed Hanni, stopping Minji on her track. She didn't turn to look at them, and Hanni thought she had said something rude. "I mean... future boyfriend?"

Danielle looked at Hanni, "does she even like him? I thought they were going out as friends," she said teasingly.

"Hm, beats me," shrugged Hanni.
