Part 10 The File
Evening
Aman got the investigation report of Khushi Gupta. It was a crystal clear record. There is no flaw in her record just like her flawless smile. Aman sighed in relief. Thank God, there is nothing to worry about Khushi Gupta.
But... he couldn't understand who the person is. Why the man called him and lied about Khushi Gupta? What's the reason behind that? Is there any intention behind that? Anyhow, Khushi is a good girl. There is no hindrance to getting her married to Arnav. He has to go to RM to say the report about Khushi to Ratna, especially, to Arnav. He had already gone home. However, this message should be filled in his ears.
Arnav came to RM, all the way thinking about Khushi Gupta... her beautiful face... her hazel eyes... her soft pinky lips...her flawless smile... her cute pout... her wise thoughts... her maturity... Arnav Singh Raizada was suffocating like hell with Khushi's thoughts. He doesn't know what to do. He was damn sure that he will never get such a cute, beautiful, mature, broadminded, and childish girl. At the same time, how could he say YES to marriage when he was not sure about his feelings? He knew Garima and NK were opposing the marriage. Would they say YES to the marriage wholeheartedly? Not sure...
RM
Arnav stopped the car and entered RM as usual speedily. His legs got struck, seeing Virat and Sheetal.
"Please, Arvind... don't you know me?" Virat pleaded stammering, sitting on the wheelchair, spilling tears.
Arnav closed his eyes, seeing his twisted left hand. He knew, he got paralytic attacked after her daughter's murder... he is the reason for Virat's condition. He gulped hard, standing at the doorstep.
Sheetal saw him standing.
"Dad, Arnav came..." She said excitedly.
Virat looked at him. Without giving heed to him, Arnav walked toward the staircase with a stern expression.
"Damadji... listen to me..." Virat moved towards Arnav, rolling the wheelchair with his right hand.
In the process, the wheelchair's wheel got stuck into the carpet. Virat was about to fall, and in no time, Arnav held him, before him hitting on the floor.
"I know Damadji... you won't let me down..." He said in double meaning.
"I saved you from getting hurt because I have humanity..." Arnav said.
"With the same humanity... please get married to my daughter." He pleaded, joining his twisted hand and right hand.
Taking back steps, Arnav turned to go to his room, without telling anything. He couldn't stand, his plead.
"Arnav stop. You can't avoid us like this..." Sheetal said.
Arnav didn't stop.
"You will never get a girl like me as your partner. Until you marry me, I will keep trying. I won't be quiet until you said YES to the marriage." Sheetal shouted at his back.
Arnav stopped, tightening his jaws. He turned towards her furiously.
"I'm going to marry Shashi uncle's daughter... understood?" he said gritting his teeth.
Sheetal and Virat's faces got occupied with shock. They were looking at him unbelievably.
"Don't do this, Arnav. Sheetal is waiting for you for four years. Please don't spoil her life." Virat begged.
"Who asked her to wait for me? Did I? I don't even think of your relationship. I'm not ready to change my mind. Please get out" Arnav sneered.
That's when his eyes fell on Shashi who was sitting near the dining hall as he doesn't want to get into their family issue. Arnav saw not only Shashi's face but also Ratna and Arvind's faces blooming. He said that to cut off Sheetal to stop torturing him. He didn't know Shashi is here. He doesn't know what to do. He left the place hurriedly, not giving heed to Virat who was asking him not to go.
But, Shashi understood why Arnav said that as Arnav's facial expression changed shockingly, seeing him in RM. So, he kept silent.
"I'm sorry, Virat. We don't need your relationship anymore..." Arvind said joining his hands.
"Don't say so, Arvind... I trust you..."
"I too trusted you.... and your daughter... because of her my son lost his life...."
"I don't deny... but Sheetal is not that type..."
"I'm not ready to force him into a relationship in which he doesn't want to get in."
Shashi was suffocating as Sheetal was glaring at him, tightening her fist.
"No... I can't take this... I can't take this Arvind..."
Virat shouted while Sheetal started walking towards the exit, pushing the wheelchair.
Arnav was pacing here and there in his room. He didn't know what Shashi is thinking about him. He came out of the room to know whether Virat left RM or not. He stopped hearing his parent's talks with Shashi.
"I'm so happy Chotte agreed to the marriage," Arvind said hoping inwardly.
"No, Arvind. I don't think he had taken the firm decision yet... he should have told that to stop Virat from approaching him further."
"Why are you saying that?" Arvind asked worriedly.
"Arnav's facial expression changed into a shocking one when he saw me... that's when I understood...that he didn't expect me here," Shashi said calmly.
Arvind and Ratna spared a sad glace whereas Arnav's was dumbfounded.
"How do this father and daughter understand everything so beautifully? Khushi should have gotten this quality from Shashi... they are so nice." He thought inwardly.
"Don't be worried. At least, those words came from his mouth... let's hope for good... don't pressurize him... let him get relaxed..." Shashi said.
How could he be relaxed after meeting Khushi Gupta and getting to know how wiser she is... his mind got fixed on her... he couldn't think of anything beyond that girl. Arnav sighed.
"I'm leaving... will come tomorrow."
"Bye..." Arvind gave him leave.
Shashi left RM.
Arnav stood there to hear more from his parents.
"Can I get a coffee?" Arvind asked.
Ratna nodded yes and was about to go, she stopped, hearing,
"I too need coffee."
Ratna smiled, seeing Aman. Arnav got an alert. Why Aman came here? Arnav was there in AR, an hour ago. Then why he is here? Does he have anything to talk to his parents about? Arnav knows Aman was the only solace to his parents when he was in jail.
"Come on Aman beta," Arvind said smilingly.
"I will bring you coffee..." Ratna took a step to leave,
"Mom, ask HP to bring coffee... come and sit here. I have a very important matter to talk to you about."
"Hari Prakash..." Ratna called him.
"Bring coffee for everyone... Chotte also has not had coffee yet."
HP nodded ok and left.
"What's the matter, Aman?" Ratna asked.
Aman extended the file to Ratna.
"Look at this..."
"What file is this?"
"This file has all the details about Khushi Gupta."
Raizadas widened their eyes.
"Yesterday, I got an anonymous call. Someone warned me about Khushi and Shashi uncle's acceptance. So, I thought to do a back check regarding this. So, I investigated her, hiring a detective agency. Here are the details."
"What will Shashi Bhai think if he gets to know about it? Ratna asked worriedly.
"Sorry, Mom. I have no choice. I don't care about anything if it is about ASR. I don't want us to do the same mistake again. See, how good Khushi is. We no need to worry about her here on... right?"
"Is she a good girl?" Ratna asked curiously.
"24-carat gold... she has no past stories. Rohan investigated her, thoroughly. We can proceed... we can't get a good girl like her Mom. Please don't think more."
"Haan... Khushi also said yes to the marriage but Chotte..." Ratna said sadly.
Arnav heard everything and came to the living room as if he didn't hear anything.
"Hi, ASR..."
"What are you doing here?"
"Just came to have a cup of coffee." Aman lied, grinning. Arnav also didn't dig more.
At the same time, HP brought coffee. Taking the tray from HP's hand, she served it to them. Aman kept the file aside and had the coffee.
After having coffee, Aman left RM, leaving the file on the couch. Ratna gestured to Arvind and went to the kitchen. Taking his phone, Arvind dialed someone's number and left the place, speaking on the phone.
Taking his phone from his pocket, Arnav captured the content of the file and left the place. Ratna smiled, joining her hands, and looking up.
Virat Home
Coming inside the house, Virat stood on the floor from the wheelchair, straightening his twisted hand.
"Don't know how long I have to do this paralytic drama..." He said annoyingly.
"A few more days Dad... until I get married to Arnav," she said shrinking her eyes.
"Do you think he will marry you?"
"Who is going to leave him?"
"You made me sit on the wheelchair and said we should get sympathy. Then only Arvind will support us just like he made him marry Yaso. Don't forget one thing. We can't get our lost reputation back if he doesn't get married to you." Virat warned.
Sheetal nodded yes.
"Just do what I say... we will bag the deal... he has to pay for killing her. I will never let him in peace." she said wrathfully."
"What are you going to do now? He said he will marry Shashi's daughter."
"Leave it on me. I will deal with Shashi's daughter. She is going to back off from this marriage." Sheetal smiled devilishly.

Khushi's answer...
Arnav read the content of the file word by word. He sighed keeping it aside. There is no single black mark in the file. Is she that good? Does he deserve a good girl like Khushi? He is full of flaws whereas she is a clean slate. How does he suit that girl? It's not a game but a life. She is going to be with him for a lifetime. What if she thinks differently in the future? What if her taste changes? What if she started seeing the mistakes in him? He couldn't conclude.
