You were spending the night at Louis's plantation, a terrible storm had come that night. You were planning on visiting him and then returning to your home when plans had changed. He was kind enough to let you spend the night which you were very grateful for, Louis was always kind towards you and he wasn't lying when he said he would do anything for you. You loved him even more for that. You lied in bed sleeping soundly through the storm when suddenly a clap of thunder woke you up. You gasped and sat up in bed, your heart pounding in your chest. You let out a sigh. "Damn it." you whispered. You held your face in your hands. "When will this storm end?" you thought to yourself. The storm was keeping you awake and you really needed to get some sleep. Before you could try again you heard a soft knock on your bedroom door. You turned to see Louis standing in the doorway. This startled you a bit. "I'm sorry if I scared you darling, I just wanted to see if you were alright." said Louis.  "I'm fine Louis it's just....I can't sleep." you said. "It's the storm isn't it?" he asked. You nodded. 

Louis came to your side and told you that it was going to be alright and assured you that the storm was going to pass. His comforting words made you feel better. He was about to leave when you stopped him. "Louis?" you called out. Louis stopped in his tracks and turned to face you. "Yes love?" he replied. "Will you stay with me?" you asked. Louis smiled. "Of course." he replied. With that said he crawled into bed with you and held you close, his strong arms wrapped around you. "My god your warm." he said out loud. You giggled. "and your cold as ice love." you laughed. Louis chuckled. It did feel good to you, it was quite warm in the room you were in. Almost to the point where it was too hot. You laughed at the thought. As you lied in his arms you could felt yourself relax and begin to fall asleep. "I love you Louis." you yawned. Louis smiled down at you. "I love you too y/n, sleep well." he said placing a kiss on your forehead. Soon enough he found himself falling asleep as well.
