Chapter 9

(I 💚 Comments 😄)

Huey and Dewey watched as their baby brother sobbed. They didn't know what was happening so they didn't know what to do. Dewey looked over at Webby for help, but she simply turned away, not knowing what to do either.

"Louie? Are you, okay?" Huey asked, hesitantly reaching out to touch his brother's shoulder.

"Get away from me!" Louie yelled, slapping Huey's hand away and taking a step back, falling to the ground. The red triplet was taken aback by the sudden slap to his hand. "Get away!" The youngest triplet proceeded to hide behind Webby.

"Louie, please tell us what's wrong." Dewey pleaded. "We just want to help you." Louie looked away and shook his head. He slowly stood up, wobbling a bit. His legs were weak and he could barely stand. He took a few steps before collapsing to the ground.

"Louie!" The three others yelled out of worry. Huey and Dewey rushed to his side, picking him up and holding him close.

"Louie? Lou-Lou? What's going on? Are you okay?" Dewey questioned, looking at his brother's face. He backed away a bit when he saw pure horror in his baby brother's eyes. That horror turned to tears, each falling faster than the one before.

"Pl-please...leave me alone...." He begged. "W-Webby, help me." Huey and Dewey, along with Webby gasped from shock at what the green triplet had just said. "Help. K-keep them away." Huey backed away from his brother, taking Dewey along with him. Webbu walked over to Louie and kneeled down next to him.

"Louie? Do you want to go to your room?" She asked sweetly.

"Mmhm." Louie nodded softly.

"Do you want to watch anime?"

"Mmhm...."

"Which one? Ouran? Attack on Titan?" Louie immediately shook his head, his eyes widening. "O-okay, what about um, oh, what about Madoka Magica?" The youngest triplet turned to look at the ground before nodding. Webby helped Louie stand up, taking him to the stairs. She turned around to see Huey and Dewey, who looked scared, worried, and a bit upset. Upset that Louie wanted Webby to help him, instead of them. Webby helped her friend up the stairs slowly, taking him to his room. She sat him down on his bed and wheeled his desk chair over to sit in front of him.

"Thanks..." He muttered.

"Louie, we're really worried about you, what happened back there, at the convention." The youngest triplet looked down, gripping the fabric of the torn skirt that he was still wearing. "Lou, you can talk to me." Webby placed a caring hand on his.

"I-I......I don't want to talk about it." He replied.

"Then can you at least tell me why you yelledat your brothers?" She asked.

"I, don't want to talk about it....." The green triplet replied.

"Louie, please. I just want to help." Webby begged. "Tell me what happened."

"Nothing! Nothing happened!" Louie yelled, lying down on his bed, his back facing his best friend.

"This doesn't look like 'nothing' to me!!" Webby shouted back.

"Well it is! Just, I-I...I need to be alone! Leave."

"I'm not leaving until you tell me what's wrong!" She claimed. "You need to stop lying! I know when you're lying now Louie, we've been friends for years, and I care about your well being! Why can't you trust me!?"

"I do trust you! But I, I don't at the same time!" Louie explained.

"Why not!? Are you afraid that Huey and Dewey would be upset? That I'd use it against you somehow!?"

"No! I just can't tell you!"

"Why not!?"

"I-I don't know! I don't, I don't want to tell you!!!" Webby froze. Did he really not want to tell her? They told each other everything.  Why this situation any different? Why was Louie being, such a liar. She looked up at him, the bed being a bit higher than the chair she was sitting on. Louie had turned to look at her, despite the pain in his body. Tears fell from his eyes, his body trembling as the need to cry out urged it's way back to him. She saw it in his eyes, he did want to tell her. He was lying to her.

"Fine, you have two days to tell me what happened, or I'll have to bring Huey and Dewey back into this." With that, Webby walked out of the room, leaving a frightened Louie behind.

'Why am I do scared?' He asked himself. 'It's just my brothers.'

"But they might hurt you." A random voice chimed in.

"Who said that?" The green triplet looked around his room in fright.

"They'll hurt you if they found out Louie. You don't want to get hurt again, do you? Not after today. Not again." The voice urged. "Just don't tell them."

"But, then I'd be lying."

"There's nothing wrong with a few little lies, and this is just one. You can't tell them about those people. Not Huey. Not Dewey. Not your uncle. Not even Webby. Nobody can about those men that hurt you."

"But, they said that they want to help." Louie claimed.

"NO! You can't tell anybody, anything. Keep it a secret Louie. Stay away from your brothers, from your uncle, and away from any other man or boy you know. Who knows what they might do to you?"

Louie looked down at his lap and sighed.

"I don't know who's talking to me, but okay, I won't tell anybody."

"Good, but there's one last thing. You have to get rid of everything that reminds you of, ugh, men. Starting with your precious cosplays."

"What? No, I can't. I worked so hard on them, they're worth so much." Louie got a huge pain on the left side of his head, forcing him to lie down on his side. "Okay! Okay! I'll do it later! Just stop talking. It hurts, it hurts so much. The green triplet whimpered as he closed his eyes. Exhaustion over coming him in a huge wave before he passed out on his bed. His head ached and pounded harshly as he slept. His mind, however, didn't sleep fully, causing his slumber to run rampid with nightmares.
