Chapter 8
(I ♡ Comments :) )
Webby squealed loudly, screaming from excitement. Her eyes darted around the convention center, from booth to booth and cosplayer to cosplayer.
"Mangas! DVD copies! Plush booths!" Webby sighed happily, almost falling to the ground but was held up by Louie and Lena.
"Woah there Webbs, don't forget to breathe." Louie reminded her still holding her up.
"Louie, nice to see ya. It's been a while." Lena greeted.
"Yeah, it's a been a couple months." Louie agreed.
"How are your brothers?" She asked, beginning to follow Webby as the younger girl began walking into the crowds of people.
"They're good...I guess." The youngest triplet answered, looking around at some of the booths that were there.
"Nice cosplay by the way, very cute," Lena told Louie as she looked at one of the booths while walking by.
"O-Oh, thanks, I guess....it's kind of embarrassing though, since, guys don't usually wear skirts and all." He pointed out. Webby suddenly ran up to them, her eyes glowing with excitement. "What's up with you?" Louie asked, laughing slightly.
"There's so much to do!!!!" Webby screamed.
"This might have been a mistake," Lena whispered to Louie, laughing quietly at her best friend's excitement. Louie nodded, laughing a bit more. He noticed a group of older looking teens walk by him, whispering to each other. They all had the same look on their faces, a look that Louie did not like. He turned away, moving to the other side of Lena to shield himself. "Hey, what's the matter?"
"Nothing...it's just, those guys looked at me weird," Louie muttered. Webby shook her head, looking at the green triplet. She sighed softly.
"They obviously don't know the number one rule of cosplay," Webby claimed.
"Cosplay is not consent." The three of them stated.
"And Louie," Lena whispered to him. "Remember, flirts go for skirts, so, if you have a change of cosplay, I advise you change. There's a lot of creeps here."
"R-right. Um, I'll change in a bit. I kind of want to see what they have here." He explained.
"Suit yourself. Come on, there's this booth I think the two of you would really love." Lena took hold of both younger teens' hands and led them to a booth filled with small pocket plushies. Louie's eyes lit up when he saw all of them. Webby's eyes widened at the sight of the hundreds of small plushies.
"They're, they're so tiny!" She exclaimed. "Oh my gosh!" The young teen teared up at the cuteness, fluffiness, and tininess of the plushies before her. Louie looked around the booth, his eyes stopping when he saw a small collection of Pokemon plushies. He had seen them online, but never really trusted it enough, since the ones that he wanted, had glitter on them.
(These don't exist...I don't think...*checks just in case* No, they don't. They only have regular ones, not glittery ones.)
"I told you." Lena crossed her arms. "Tell you what, you can both get one, I'll pay." Webby and Louie's head turned around so quickly, that it made the older teen jump slightly. Their eyes were practically sparkling because of her statement. "Go on," She encouraged. After Lena purchased her friends the pocket plushies they wanted, they started walking around a bit more. Webby had gotten a small marshmallow plush with big sparkly eyes, a small blush, and a small blue heart that looked like a hair bow.
While Louie had gotten a small Mew plush, but of course, it had glitter on it.
The group of three continued walking for a bit longer before Webby remembered something.
"Hey Lena, you said something about panels earlier?" She looked over at her friend.
"Yeah, why?" Lena raised an eyebrow.
"Is there still one that we could go to?" Louie asked, he too looking over at Lena who took out her phone to check.
"Of course, there's a Hetalia ask panel, an OHSHC voice actor pa-"
"THAT ONE!" The two younger teens exclaimed. Lena laughed softly and nodded.
"Alright, alright. Calm down. We better hurry, it's starting in," She looked back at her phone. "Thirty minutes."
"Can't we walk around a bit more?" Louie asked.
"Do you want to see your favorite voice actors up close?" Louie nodded. "I thought so, we have to go now, so we can get good spots." The eldest of the three led them to the panel room where the panel would be held. The thirty minutes passed and they ended up sitting in the third row. The three had an amazing time as they listened to the voice actors joke around and interact with the crowd. After the panel was over, Lena suggested that they get something to eat, after they got their food they ate outside of the convention center, since it was a bit too crowded.
"That was so cool!" Louie exclaimed.
"I know! Thank you so much for inviting us Lena, today is amazing!" Webby stated, hugging her friend.
"You're welcome, eat quick, cause we can still look around at the booths for about four hours before I have to take you home." Webby and Louie whined, not wanting to go back to the manor.
"I'm gonna go change first, I keep getting bad looks from a lot of guys here. It's awful." Louie muttered.
"Alright Lou, we'll meet you by the giant Pikachu balloon," Webby stated. Louie walked off to the bathroom with his bag to change. After Webby and Lena finished eating, they went to the exact spot they said they would meet Loui at. Ten minutes went by, and he wasn't there. Then it was twenty, still no Louie. When it was finally thirty minutes, the girls finally decided to go an look for their friend, extremely worried as to where he could have gone. It took them a while to even locate the male restroom, which was in the back of the convention center. When they got there, they saw Louie leaning against a wall, his body trembling, his hair messed up and his eyes bloodshot. "Louie! What happened!?" Webby ran up to her friend, Lena following her. The green triplet didn't answer, choking on a bit of air as if he wanted to talk, but couldn't.
"Louie! Answer us!" Lena was becoming worried, if something had happened, she would never be trusted to take care of them ever again.
"Louie, please!" Webby begged. "Tell us what happened." His body trembled harshly as he fell to the ground, sobbing.
"T-T-Take me home.....please." He whispered, his voice strained and scratchy. "Please." Lena noticed that he still had the same cosplay on, and hadn't changed. She knew what had happened, and she knew that she should have forced him to change sooner. Webby was kneeling down next to Louie, hugging him tightly, looking up at Lena for help. The older teen bent down and picked the sobbing triplet up, carrying him back to her car, Webby followed, carrying her friend's things. After driving home in a car filled with sobs, Lena knocked on the door, it getting opened by Louie's brothers. They saw their baby brother trembling and tahnked Lena for bringing them home before closing it. It was only eight in the afternoon, and the sun was setting. Lena should have done something and now she felt responsible for what had happened to the youngest triplet. She had always know, that cosplay was not consent.
