Chapter 15
(I 💚 Comments 🤔 1 year later)
Okay...
Okay....
OKAY!?
Why couldn't he be just okay!? He didn't want to be good, he didn't want to be fine he just wanted to be okay...
Louie had shut himself in his room again, all hope lost. The voices having little conversations with each other as the hours went by, discussing of how they should kill Huey and Dewey. With what they should kill them and when. Louie let this happen, finding it utterly hopeless. He no longer had help. Everyone he loved no longer loved him.
Louie was tired.
Louie felt dead.
Webby was terrified of him and his brothers absolutely despised him. At least, that's what he thought. He only left his room once, to use the restroom, but no one was home. He wasn't sure what to do anymore. He needed ideas.
One night, Louie was lying in bed, the voices having been quiet for a long time. He heard Huey and Dewey talking in the next room.
"Dewey, are you sure you're okay? You've been acting weird ever since the incident."
"Huey, I said I'm fine. Stop worrying."
"Dewey-"
"I said I'm okay! I'm fine!" Huey sighed.
"Okay, but, Dewey. I'm here for you if you need to talk."
"I don't need to talk." Dewey sniffed.
"Dewey." Huey whispered sweetly.
"Okay...Hue...that time we went to visit Louie: when you found me in the bathroom with that guy...he forced me...he's been forcing me for months...I've grown to be okay with it, but I hate it. It makes me feel so gross...I get why Louie's how he is now, if I hadn't talked with Webby about it I probably would be in the same boat, but I'm not."
"Oh, Dewey."
Was he really hearing right? Did Dewey actually talk with Webby about his problems? Did it really help that much? Louie sat up. He had been hiding for too long!
Louie, don't you dare!
I swear Louie, you better not tell anyone!!
"Shut up! Shut up! SHUT UP!!!" Louie screamed, tugging at his hair.
Huey and Dewey heard the screams from the other room and looked at each other before running to Louie's room.
"Leave me alone!!" Louie cried out.
"Louie? Louie, what's wrong?" Huey asked in a panick. Louie continued screaming.
"I heard screaming, is everything okay?" Webby asked.
"Louie's in there. He was talking to his voices again and then he just started screaming." Dewey explained.
"I'll go in." Webby opened the door and closed it before Huey and Dewey could say otherwise. "Louie?"
"Webby, help me.." Louie whimpered.
"I'm right here, Louie...I'm right here.."
"It hurts, they're hurting me." Louie sobbed.
"Louie, where's your medicine?"
"I don't know!!" He screamed. His head was pounding. It felt like something wanted to claw out of his brain.
Webby looked around the room, going through his draweres before finding it. It was almost full, as if he hadn't even taken any. She opened it and took out two pills, giving them to Louie who took them willingly.
"Webby..."
"Sh, it's okay. You're going to be okay..." Webby pet him lightly.
"I'm sorry..." He whimpered.
"It's okay, you didn't mean it." Webby told him.
He really didn't mean to hurt anyone. The fear he felt was far stronger than any emotion he had ever had.
"I don't...I don't mean it. I'm sorry."
"Can Huey and Dewey come in?" Louie nodded. "Guys, Louie says you can come in."
Huey and Dewey walked in quietly, walking towards him.
"Lou-Lou?" Dewey whispered. "Are you okay, baby brother?"
"Not really...everything hurts still..."
"You'll start feeling better soon." Huey reassured him quietly.
"Promise?" Louie cried.
"I promise."
Poor Louie. He didn't know if he should believe him or not but how he wanted it to be true.
Louie closed his eyes, starting to drift off to sleep.
"You need your rest, Louie." Webby whispered.
Louie went right to sleep after that. Huey, Dewey and Webby stayed in his room until they were sure he was asleep. One by one they left the room, Webby being the last one there.
"We'll make sure nothing had ever happens to you Louie...we're going to take care of you. You hear me? We'll never stop taking care of you."
Louie smiled in his sleep feeling something he hadn't felt in months. Peace and hope. Louie slept for hours and hours before sitting up and looking around. His head was pounding and his pillow was stained with tears.
Huey and Dewey were sitting on a couch, looking at him.
"Guys? What are you-" Louie was shocked when he was embraced by his brothers.
"Louie, you had us worried sick!" Huey told him.
"What are you talking about?" Louie asked, being very confused.
"You were alseeo for two days. You were sleep walking and talking." Dewey explained, hugging him tighter.
"I was? I had no idea...wait, Dewey, your throat isn't bruised."
"No, why would it be?" Dewey raised an eyebrow.
"I, I...oh, wow...I had the weirdest dream." Louie laughed softly.
"Tell us." Huey encouraged. "It'll help."
Louie went on to tell them about his dream. About everything. He could see the shock and worry in their faces as they listened.
"Aw, Lou, first off, we would never hate you for liking anime or girly things." Dewey laughed.
"Yeah, cause we like it too." Huey agreed.
"Second, we would never let anything had happen to you, ever. We'd kick the butts of whoever even tried to lay a finger in you!"
"Third, we know you'd never kill anyone, not without a really good reason anyway." Huey chuckled.
"True." Louie agreed.
"Fourth, Huey and I together? No way. We'd never ever work out. We're polar opposites."
"Exactly. Also, Lou. Why would you ever have such a terrible like that anyway?"
"Oh, um...heh...no reason." Louie smiled softly, rubbing the back of his neck.
"Are you sure? We don't want you getting hurt and going crazy on us." Dewey joked.
"I'm sure, Dewey, thanks." Louie smiled.
"Oh, you should probably go and talk with Webby. She's been really worried too." Huey stated, climbing off the bed.
"I'll do that." Louie smiled and looked around the room after his brothers left. His walls were covered with posters, the opposite of how his room looked in his dream. Why would he hide anime from his brothers? He wouldn't hide anything from them...would she?
