We cut to the streets of Great Lakes City as Ronnie Anne was driving her police hummer through the ruined roads to the location of the mysterious caller who offered her a deal that'll give her the answers she needed regarding her mother injured and in a coma as well as the mutant pandemic plaguing the city.

Ronnie Anne: Turn right he said, followed by a U-turn.

Ronnie Anne turns the wheel, making a quick right turn before driving quickly down four blocks as she made a U-turn around the path.

Ronnie Anne: Now turn left and stop at the third block.

The Hispanic police woman did just that in turning left, driving straight down the road until she stopped on the third block.

She looks out the window to see an old warehouse, Ronnie Anne looks at the address again on her phone text; it was the exact same as the one on the warehouse sign.

Ronnie Anne: Alright then... this better not be a prank someone's pulling on me.

Ronnie Anne leaves her vehicle and walks towards the warehouse door, readying her gun as she kicks the door down, aiming her gun forward while entering the warehouse. She looks around, the place looked deserted with broken down machines, holes in walls, glass windows broken, cob webs and dust mostly everywhere.

Ronnie Anne then received a message on her phone as she pulls it out and looks at the message from the mysterious caller.

Ronnie Anne: (Reads) Head to the main office, find a statue of a dragon and turn it's head to the left.

Ronnie Anne then heads to the main office, opening the door which fell to the ground.

Ronnie Anne: This place is older than old.

The main office has a desk in the center of the room, a run down book shelf with ripped up books scattered around, torn blinds hanging from the windows and... a statue of a dragon on the right side of the room.

Ronnie Anne: Bingo.

She heads over to the dragon statue and turns it's head to the left as a click sound was heard, revealing the desk moving to the left to unveil an entrance in the ground.

Ronnie Anne: A secret passageway?

Ronnie Anne then heads down the passageway, walking down the stairs as the halls got darker while Ronnie Anne takes out a flashlight so she can see. Walking further down the stairs, Ronnie Anne waved her flashlight to see the end of the stairway as well as a metal door, she reaches the end and pushes the metal door open to enter the secret room.

The room itself was a lab of some kind, equipped with a large tube like pod in the center, a large screen computer on the wall, control panels and more. Ronnie anne then hears growling as she turns around to see a tall & muscular man lizard monster with torn blue pants & a high tech collar around his neck looming towards her with furious red eyes as he was going to attack Ronnie Anne.

Ronnie Anne brought up her gun to fire as the Man lizard lunged at her but all of a sudden..... he was electrocuted, falling to the ground and roaring in pain, gripping the collar.

Ronnie Anne: What the...?

???: (A grim, male voice) Now, now Connors. That's no way to treat our guest...

The Lizard aka Dr. Curt Connors growled as he stands down.

Ronnie Anne turns to the big screen, finding a man wearing an armored skull mask with white eyes, a white hood, and a dark blue, white and silver armored bodysuit equipped with several hoister belts for his weapons.

???: Greetings officer Ronnie Anne Santiago. Apologies that we couldn't meet in person... I had a job to do.

Ronnie Anne: Who are you?

???: I am Taskmaster, I believe that I'm the solution to your... bug problem.

Ronnie Anne growled angrily as she knows that she was talking about the seven spider heroes.

Taskmaster: I've seen your work as well as your combat and weapon progress in action, you're quite the expert, a shame that your talents & potential are being wasted in catching lowly worms for the law.

Ronnie Anne: So you've been spying on me, huh? What exactly do you want with me?

Taskmaster: I'm merely here to recruit you, Santiago. A powerful man wanted me to bring in the seven spiders that were spotted in this city but I'm powerful myself, I'm putting together a force of acolytes and I want you to join me.

Ronnie Anne was about to say something but Taskmaster beat her to it.

Taskmaster: You refuse, hmmm? So you don't want to get back at the lowly bugs who got your mother injured? Who's to say they didn't cause this mutant pandemic in the first place....

Ronnie Anne was silent.

Taskmaster: These people see them as heroes but you and I both know that they can't be trusted.

Ronnie Anne: (whispered in a cold tone) You're right....

Taskmaster: Accept my offer and I shall give you the power & weapons needed to exterminate those so called heroes.

Ronnie Anne: ............ I accept.

Taskmaster: Good.... Connors, prepare our new recruit.

The Lizard growled in reply before gesturing Ronnie Anne to follow him which she did. Stepping into the tube like pod, Ronnie Anne waits as the lizard then heads to the table with  several cages with animals and insects, he grabs the one with a scorpion in it as he takes it to the machine linked to the tube Ronnie Anne was in.

Taskmaster: In order to catch a spider, you need the right predator to seek it out.

The Lizard places the scorpion inside the machine, growling as he types in the codes before pulling the switch & activating the machine. The scorpion inside the machine started to glow scarlet red as it's body turned into energy traveling through the links into the tube, the energy blasting into Ronnie Anne.

Ronnie Anne: AAAGGGHHHH!!!

Ronnie Anne screams and groans as she fell to her knees, the blast affecting her as her body slowly started to expand in athleticism while her eyes turned jade green. Taskmaster only watched, smirking behind his mask as he witnesses the birth of a new soldier in his ranks.

Meanwhile in Dr. Streak's laboratory, we see the mad scientist was in awe of his creations bringing in his worst enemies at a quick pace too, putting them all in pods as the ones who wronged Streak as he stated pound on the glass, screaming, crying, begging or even threatening to hurt Streak if he doesn't release them but he only laughed at them, brushing them off as he would deal with them later.

Dr. Streak had a much bigger prize in mind.

A portal opens up.

Dr. Streak: Right on schedule....

Out of the portal appears the humanoid bat/hyena creature dragging Luan by her neck.

Luan: Ack... let me go... can't breathe...!!

Creature: Masterrrrr... Tarrrrrget Capturrrrrred, hehehahahaha!

Dr. Streak: (grins) Excellent my pet, put her on the table.

The bat/hyena creature nodded as he dragged Luan over to the lab table and slammed her on it but not enough to break it.

Luan: Agh!

The creature held her down as Dr. Streak presses a button, causing luan's wrists and ankles to be trapped in restraints.

Luan: Huh? Ngh! Let me out of here, where am I?!

Dr. Streak: Welcome Luan loud... to the lab of Dr. Streak, the most brilliant scientist in the world!

Luan gets a good look at the scientist.

Luan: Oh I remember now...

Dr. Streak: (grinned) So you do, huh? Well it seems my excellent reputation-

Luan: You're the wacko science guy Lisa beat in that one science expo.

His grin fell.

Dr. Streak: Oh sure, bring that back why don'tcha?! (Glares in luan's eyes) It was bad enough that I lost to a child but you had to humiliate me!!!

Luan: (Glares back) Hey! I only pranked you because you deserved it for trying to sabotage lisa's invention!

Dr. Streak: I had that prize won and you all know it! It was robbed from me by that blasted child!

Luan: Well someone's coco in the coconuts for brains, hahaha! Get it? But seriously, if you believed you were gonna win, ya shouldn't have tried to sabotage my sister, all you've done is proved that she's smarter than you!

Dr. Streak growled furiously at the comedian's retort but breathes heavily to calm himself before glaring at Luan with a scary smile.

Dr. Streak: So Miss Jokes a lot thinks her little sister is smarter than me, hahaha! That actually is pretty funny, you crack me up comedian, hahaha! But... this is what I think is funny....

Pulling out a syringe of glowing yellow orange liquid, Dr. Streak injected it into luan's head.

Luan: AAAAAUUUUHHHHHHH!!!!

Dr. Streak: Hahahahahaha! That's really funny, hilarious exactly!

Luan: Ouuuuch... What do you do?!

Dr. Streak: (smirks) Oh just gave you a little monster formula....

Luan: What?! What's this gonna do to me?!?!

Dr. Streak: (still smirking) I don't know, I haven't tested it yet. I'm happy to see the results for myself.

Luan suddenly felt funny and not the 'haha' kind.

Luan: I don't feel... (voice gets a bit deep) so goooood....

Dr. Streak: I know, hahahahaha!

Luan groans as she felt her insides crumbling down and reshaping itself, making her wince in pain.

Luan: (starting to change; voice getting deeper & scratchy-like) What's going on... agghhhhhh! What have you done to me?!

Dr. Streak only laughed maniacally as we see luan's shadow in the background with her screams getting distorted, her body expanding and forming into something monstrous.

Meanwhile in Great Lakes City, we see a male figure swinging high from building to building to the sky until he lands on the tallest skyscraper, looking at the entire city.

???: (looks at the 4th floor) Man, this place looks like it's seen better days. Well Fury did say that the group would be here and ya never argue with a guy wearing an eyepath and with a lot of experience, don't wanna get on his bad side, hehehe. Anyways, I've been sent here by S.H.I.E.L.D. to investigate this... outbreak (lightning flashed in the background for dramatic effect) and find the heroes that are in this city.

He turns away from the 4th floor and jumps off the building, heading down at a quick pace before raising his hand as webs shot out of his wrist, swinging through the city.

???: Whoever these heroes are, get ready to meet the Ultimate Spider-Man.

We cut back to the secret lab underneath the warehouse where Taskmaster ordered the Lizard to equip the new gear for Ronnie Anne, who was no longer the same person she once was.

Ditching her police uniform, Ronnie Anne accepted the new attire given to her by the Lizard as she dons her new gear in the shadows.

Taskmaster: So... how do you feel with this new power of yours?

Ronnie Anne: (from the shadows) I feel... Ecstatic. Calm. Alive...

Taskmaster: Good, you will be an adequate soldier to my field of acolytes and you will have your revenge on the spider heroes, Ronnie Anne Santiago.

Ronnie Anne: (from the shadows) No... not Ronnie Anne.

Ronnie Anne steps out of the shadows, revealing her new appearance. She was very athletic than before, now wearing a black bodysuit with scarlet red, black and silver armor, equipped with gauntlets, utility belt, armored boots, an armored helmet with glowing green eyes & her mouth exposed and a highly mechanical, sharp scorpion tail.

Ronnie Anne: Call me... Scarlet Scorpion.

The screen faded to black, revealing only Ronnie Anne aka Scarlet Scorpion's menacing, glowing green eyes for a moment before they faded away into the darkness.
