Episode 1: Freezing to Death
Here's a new story! Enjoy!
It was winter in the land, endless blankets of snow covered the land and trees.
Out in the forest, a tall young man was walking around, before stopping to examine a tree before he looked at the snow. He had an athletic build, his white hair was now in a shaggy style with a turkey tail sticking out the back, a scar across his cheek, and buck teeth slightly sticking out of his mouth. He wore a fur hood, fur chest plate, a necklace made of string and a leaf trapped in tree resin, armored fur gloves, a belt bag, a tunic made of layers of fur, leggings, and leather boots with fur knee guards.
For the sake of the story, this young man is Lincoln or Linc for short. Linc took out a pickaxe, made of a long stone that was sharpened on both ends and tied to a carved wooden stick with fiber bindings.
Using the pickaxe, Lincoln dug into the snow, separating the snow to reveal the frozen ground beneath. Among the dirt, frozen grass, and stones, were mushrooms and truffles, frozen like the grass. Lincoln carefully dug around the mushrooms and truffles until he was able to pull them out then placed them into his fur bag.
Lincoln then continued his trek, and as he walked through the trees he spotted a deep footprint in the snow. It was a medium-sized animal with hooves. Lincoln followed the footprints for about 10 yards, before stopping and beginning to set up something.
*10 Minutes Later*
A boar began approaching the area where Linc had stopped, but Lincoln was nowhere to be seen, and all traces were gone. Except for a few truffles on the ground, which the boar was eyeing like a hawk, the boar trotted over to the truffles but before it could begin eating, a rope made of roots snapped up from under the snow. The boar squealed out in fear but the rope was wrapped around its neck and its head. It was then pulled up into the air and its neck snapped from its own weight.
The boar then flopped to the ground with a rope getting pulled down from the tree branches then Lincoln stepped out of the snow-covered shrubbery. Brushing the snow off him, Lincoln then tied up the boar with the rope and dragged it with him. Lincoln then began his trek back in the direction he came.

Nothing happened on his way out of the forest, Lincoln simply continued until he came to a clearing, a lake bed that was completely frozen over. However, several men and women in fur outfits like Lincoln's were on the iced-over lake. Some were stabbing spears into holes in the ice made from a sharpened flat piece of flint and a long stick, attached by fiber bindings. Others carried bundles of speared fish back to the opposite side of the lake to Lincoln. There stood a large hill with several cave entrances, several hide curtains covered the entrance
Lincoln gave a confirming grunt as he passed by the other people. As he walked, he looked out in the distance, where the iced-over lake dropped into a frozen waterfall. The entire area, including several miles worth of land and mountains, was atop a plateau that stood several miles above the ground level. Lincoln then continued into the caverns, where even more people were doing various tasks normal to see in the winter season. Skinning and tanning hides, prepping food for winter with rock salt, cooking meat that wasn't being prepped for later, and making spears, picks, axes, clubs, and arrows.
Everyone had their place in the cavern, sitting on mats made from thick fur hides surrounding a campfire inside a circle of stones. The white-haired boy then approached a group of females doing various winter prep activities, these were Lincoln's sisters.
Lori Loud was a young woman who had an athletic build with an hourglass figure, a CC-cup size, a scar on her neck like that of a bite mark, and long blond hair in a braid tied back with vines. She has on a lion furskin hood, leather shoulder pads, a resin necklace like Lincoln's except hers had a claw inside, gloves with claws knuckles, a hide chest plate, a tunic, and boots with spiked shin guards. Giving her the appearance of a lioness. Next to her was a spear that looked much better than the ones the fishers were using.
Leni Loud was a tall and full-figured young woman, she had a lean athletic, athletic build with an hourglass figure, an EE-cup size, and long blond hair down to her waist. She had on a leopard furskin hood, leather shoulder pads, a resin necklace like Lincoln's except hers had a piece of leather inside, fingerless gloves with forearm guards, a quiver, a hide chest plate, a tunic, and boots with leopard skin shin guards. Next to her was a long bow made of a flexible stick and a string of hide.
Luna Loud was a very thick young woman. She had a very bottom-heavy figure, bigger than Leni but second to Lucy, a CC-cup size, Luna, and her dark brown hair was in a slicked-back style. She had on a wolf furskin hood, leather shoulder pads, a resin necklace with a claw inside, gloves with forearm guards, a hide chest plate, a tunic, and boots with leopard skin shin guards. Giving her the appearance of a wolf. She was holding a stone ax, created by binding a pair of sharpened stones to a hardwood branch.
Luan Loud was a very busty young woman. She had a more top-heavy figure with a lean build than her sisters with an E-cup size, fair hips, buck teeth like Lincoln, and her brown hair was still in a ponytail held up by a pink flower hairband. She wore a fur hood, fur chest plate, a necklace made of string and a stone inside hardened tree resin, armored fur gloves, an arrow quiver, a tunic made of layers of fur, leggings, and leather boots with fur knee guards. She had a short bow next to her.
Lynn Loud was a very buff young woman. She had an athletic and muscular build with an amazon figure, she had several scars two on both arms, three across the stomach, and one on her neck. She also had an A-cup size, and her brown hair was still in a ponytail but the sides of her head were shaved into a short mohawk. She had on a tiger furskin hood, leather shoulder pads, a resin necklace with a claw inside, fingerless gloves with clawed knuckles, a thick hide chest plate, a tunic, and boots with shin guards. The outfit made her look like a tiger. She had a stone maul, crudely put together using a long branch and a large, heavy stone.
Lucy Loud was a soft-looking young woman. Her black hair was wavy and at hip length, an E-cup size, and her red eyes were showing through parted bangs. But her most noticeable feature was her hips, she was the largest of the family. She wore a fur hood, fur chest plate, a necklace made of string and a leaf trapped in tree resin, armored fur gloves, a tunic made of layers of fur, leggings, and leather boots with fur knee guards.
Lola Loud was a blooming young woman. She had a C-cup size, she already had a bottom-heavy figure, her blonde hair was still hip-length, and she was missing her two front teeth. She wore a fur hood, fur chest plate, a necklace made of string and a leaf trapped in tree resin, fur gloves, a tunic made of layers of fur, leggings, and leather boots with fur knee guards. She had two short daggers next to her.
Lana Loud was a strong built young woman. She had thick blonde hair put behind her in a braid, blue eyes, a lean muscular build but not that big as Lynn's, and a B-cup size. She wore a thick leather coat over a leather vest, pants, gloves, and boots. Also a necklace with a carved stone inside.
Lisa Loud was a very pudgy young woman. She had a pudgy build, but not fat, with an hourglass figure, a CCC-cup size, and shaggy short brown hair. She also wore a thick leather coat over a leather vest, pants, gloves, and boots. Also a necklace with a carved stone inside.
Lily was a budding young girl. She had a full head of shiny blonde hair and small buck teeth. She wore a thick cloak made from boar fur hiding her body. She didn't have a necklace like the others did, however.
Lincoln approached his sisters and dropped the boar next to their mat then got close to the fire to warm up. Lynn looked at Lincoln's boar and laughed, before showing her a much larger and more muscular boar, covered in wounds and bruises. Lincoln rolled his eyes before Lana took out a knife and began skinning and deboning both boars.
After that, Lana separated the two boar's parts into three groups split between Lynn's kill and Lincoln's; Meat, hide, and bone. Meat; Lynn's had tough and muscly meat. Lincoln's had fatty and thicker meat and more of it. as Lana had tossed aside several slabs of the muscly meat due to several broken bones that rendered the meat unsafe to eat.
Next was boar hide, Lincoln also won this, by a landslide. Lynn's boar's hide was tattered due to the many cuts and gashes in the fur, it was already being handed off to be used as bowstrings. Lincoln's was in pristine condition, with no cuts and no fur wasted. Lastly were bones, and it was another landslide. Lynn had broken almost every bone in her boar's body which was what caused most of its meat to be tossed, while Lincoln's boar had only one broken bone, the neck bone.
Lynn yelled in defiance until Lana gave her a deadpanned look. Lincoln snickered at Lynn, who growled and was about to swing her maul at him, only for Lori to give them both a swift smack to the head. The Louds continue their activities, Lincoln emptied the mushrooms from his bag while Leni began making clothing from the boar fur.
Outside a villager with a fang resign necklace was watching from a cavern entrance that was several feet above the ground as several villagers started coming back as the sun began to set. Then he spotted several lights in the forest, then an arrow whizzed passed his head, leaving a cut across his face and ear. The man took cover and let out a guttural roar down the tunnel he was in as more arrows came whizzing into the high-up entrance.
Upon hearing this, Lori, Luna, and Lynn stood up with their weapons, as did several other resin necklaces with claws in them. They ran out with their weapons, they ran toward several people with torches, bows, clubs, and spears. They also had a scar across their forehead in the shape of an X.
In front of the group was a young man, possibly the same age as Lincoln. He had fair skin and shaggy auburn hair. He wore a bear skin over leather armor, a bear skin hood connected to the rest of the bearskin, gloves with bear claws in the knuckles, several layers of hiding armor under the bear skin that covered him from head to hip, and boots made of a bear feet. And like the ones he was leading, he had an X scar on his forehead. This was Chandler McCain and he seemed to be the leader of these Outcasts.
Outcasts were people banished from a tribe for a number of reasons, stealing food or fur, losing a challenge, attacking/killing a fellow villager without cause, etc. They are tossed out from a village and branded with an X across their forehead, this can be done in a number of ways, scaring the skin, burning the flesh, or cutting away the flesh until the bone is exposed.
Lori let out a war cry and the other warriors with her roared as well before they charged at the other people like they were hated, enemies. There were fourteen Outcasts including Chandler and fifty warrior villagers, when the three bow-wielding Outcasts took aim at the warriors, Luna let out a loud whistle. Suddenly an arrow whizzed by the warriors coming from behind them and struck a raiding archer perfectly in the X on his forehead.
Chandler could see Leni at one of the entrances, another arrow ready to be fired from her longbow. Luna whistled once more and Leni let the arrow fly straight. The arrow whizzed past her fellow villagers, not even scratching one of them, then it flew passed by several Outcasts before piercing the skull of the second archer. Chandler looked at Leni in fear of her pinpoint accuracy.
With a loud battle cry, the spear-wielding, and club-wielding Outcasts charged. Needless to say, it was a one-sided massacre. When an Outcast tried to swing his club, his arm was stabbed from the side by a warrior, followed by two axemen cleaving into his head, spilling both brains and blood on the snow-covered ground. When an Outcast tried a spear thrust, two warriors grabbed his spear and held him in place for a warrior to pierce his windpipe with his own spear thrust.
The red-haired Outcast roared in annoyance as his fellow outcasts were slaughtered one by one without even killing a single warrior, some warriors got a cut or a bruise, but their attacker didn't live long before being attacked from behind or from the sides. Chandler raised his sword forward to continue their attack, he heard his last archer hit the ground in a silent thud. He didn't need to look to know he died. The red-haired Outcast roared in fury when-
*SHUNK!!!*
He felt a sharp pain in his wrist, he looked at both his stone sword and now severed hand on the snowy ground. Next to him was Luna Loud, who was glaring daggers at him. Chandler was confused, Luna had entered the battle with a cocky smile, and yet... Right now... She looked like she was furious at the sight of him
Luna noticed Chandler's confusion, so she swiped her thumb across her cheek and Chandler remembered what got him banished... He was the one who gave Lincoln the scar on his face. Before Luna could approach him, Chandler grabbed something with his remaining hand in his bear cloak and threw it at Luna, who smacked it aside, it was heavy and hard, but broke against her hand, leaving a thick fluid on her glove. Looking at it, she recognized it as an egg, and given the size of the shell, white, and yolk, it belonged to a large creature.
Then several roars came from the forest, roars not of a man, but of a massive beast.

Then... several dinosaurs came stampeding out of the forest. Luna looked to see Chandler and several other remaining Outcasts running away up the frozen stream.
They had red skin with dark red stripes, powerful hind legs with three-clawed feet, tiny arms with two claws each, a long, thick tail, and a large head with massive jaws lined with sharp teeth. Their most notable features included the large, jagged horn on their snout, more pronounced spikes over their eyes, rows of smaller spikes running down their back, and their unusually large size, giving them an almost draconic appearance. These were Alpha Tyrannosaurus Rexes.

Info Dump - Resin Necklaces;
Each Village has a job that children that are of age, do to help their village. Their innate talents are considered when being given one of three jobs; Gatherer (leaf in resin), Crafter (carved stone in resin), & Warrior (fang or claw in resin, normally the latter). Self-explanatory on what these jobs do.
While the string and item inside the resin aren't that impressive, the resin itself is. This resin when completely hardened is tougher than steel and harder than diamond, basically impossible to break open once it's hardened completely. The resin is also very difficult to mold due to the limited time between its hardening, so weapons like swords and spears being made from this resin are next to impossible.
It ignores heat and cold, only hardening due to exposure to the air when its tree, the Royal Wood, is cut into or when the hardened sap left behind, that clogs the opening, is removed. And before you ask, no, it does not taste like honey, it tastes like sand, and it's like if you tried to swallow a jawbreaker.
Bye for now!
