Nicole opened her eyes.

Nicole: Aaauuuhhhh....

She slowly sits up and stretched out before cracking her neck a bit, looking around to see where she was. This didn't look like the alleyway where she fought her ex boyfriend Jaiden or the town, it was a dark rainforest surrounded by fireflies giving off eerie purple lighting.

Nicole: Where am I...? How did I get here?

???: Why I brought you here of course.

Nicole nearly jumped out of her leather jacket as she turns to see Violet webb walking towards her with a lantern glowing eerily purple.

Nicole: Huff... Huff... Don't... Do that! I nearly had a heart attack.

Violet: My apologies... now if you'd be so kind, you'll follow me. You wouldn't want to get lost out here in the forest of the feared.

Violet walks down the path with Nicole following her.

Nicole: Forest of the Feared?

Violet: Yes... this is where I live, my domain hidden from parts of the world. However, some interlopers like to trespass upon my land. Either to hide some stolen money, jewels, etc. To try to hide a body of someone who witnessed a crime or got the criminal thrown in jail more or less. Or rich snobs who try to build expensive outings and clubs on my turf, thinking that the Legend of the Willow Witch of the Webs was only a myth, how wrong they were...

Nicole: So... they would trespass on your turf like that? Whatta you do to 'em?

Violet: Sigh... normally, I would meet with the interlopers and give them a warning that they didn't turn back... they would pay dearly. But they would laugh, saying that I was a beautiful yet crazy lady, that I wasn't a witch because I would have to be ugly and terrifying to be one, and forgot about my warning.

Nicole: Yikes, I can tell where this is going.

Violet: I am fond of the beautiful comment but I don't have to be ugly to be a terrifying witch as I haven't forgotten about any of the interlopers. So... I decided to teach them a lesson. So when they came back, who loosed my spider upon them.

Nicole: Spider?

Violet: Yep. (Whistles eerily)

Nicole then heard a hissing sound and the trees rustling while leaves were falling on her as she looks up, eyes widened as she saw a huge, purple eyed, black spider creature looming over the two from the giant web in the trees.

Nicole was about to set the giant Arachnid on fire but Violet stops her.

Violet: No need for that. This is my pet Spider Willow, she won't hurt you unless you trespass here or try to threaten me.

The spider dropped down as Violet rubbed her head of fur, making Willow purr.

Nicole: Hehehe, ok.

Violet then takes out a huge bag of flies from.... outta nowhere as she fed them to her pet Spider, who ate them whole as the Arachnid smiled, showing several rows of sharp teeth.

Violet: Come.

Violet and Willow walk the path with Nicole following behind them as they went deeper into the forest. Soon, they come across a beautiful yet horrifying looking mansion in the center of the forest.

Nicole: Whoa...

Violet: Welcome to my home.

The doors of the mansion opened as Violet leads Nicole inside with Willow shrinking to land on Violet's shoulder as they went inside with the doors closed behind them. Nicole looks around the place, it was quite neat & fancy looking in an eerie, haunted house kinda way with purple lighting illuminating the inside.

Nicole: Wow... fancy.

Violet: Thanks... now come with me.

Violet heads over to the living room area where she sat on the couch near a table with a Crystal ball present. She gestures Nicole to come sit and the older pierce sister does so.

Nicole: So, why have you brought me here?

Violet: I'm here to talk about your... condition.

Nicole went pale as a ghost as she avoided eye contact with Violet.

Nicole: I... I don't know what you're talking about.

Violet: Nicole, I'm no fool. I know something is terribly wrong with you involving your berserker mode.

Nicole: (growled) You know nothing about me.

Violet: I know more about you than you know yourself, child. Your father marrying your mother, who was mutant, each pierce sibling possessing different mutant abilities though Skyler is part cyborg yet her powers are still dormant. Your Favorite rock band is Skillet, you hate video games except for the mortal kombat types, Batman arkham series, you absolutely love spicy foods and one of your secret fears is...

The woman turns to violet with a heated glare. Violet had slightly smiled as she touched a nerve there but her expression went back to being serious.

Violet: As well as the creature that plagues your mind, feeding on your anger as it grows stronger until you... expire.

Nicole's glare faded as she looks away.

Nicole: What do you want to know?

Violet: Talk to me... tell me about when & how this volcanic berserker mode came to be.

Nicole bit her lower lip as she wasn't sure about this but she needed to come clean.

Nicole: Sigh... since I was young, these powers came as I was afraid of them at first but I've learned to use them properly, same with my siblings by my mom. Mom is a mutant no doubt but barely shows her powers at all, she was a former wrestler & legend known as Mama Havok, now a mixed martial arts fighter/construction worker since she was a heavy lifter.

Violet: She's quite a strong woman.

Nicole: She is. And my dad was a great cop in Ohio, cracks big cases and puts a lot of scumbags behind bars. Before my dad was a cop..... in the past, he was one of the infamous & most deadliest hitman in the world, I know because I kinda, sorta accidentally stumbled upon his secret base when I was looking for him in the basement.

Violet: You shouldn't have gone through your father's belongings.

Nicole: Hey! I was a preteen that time & I was worried about him, plus I slipped over something as my hand went against the wall, making a click sound as a secret door opened up. Anyway, I discovered that my father was a Hitman, had the weapons, the training and the long list of cons, mob bosses, criminals and killers he murdered, human or mutant. I was frightened by that as my father caught me, his face cold & eerily calm... I thought he was going to kill me...

Violet: Really?

Nicole: Yeah... but instead he hugged me as I cried, he comfort me & apologized as he said he got back from his last job & retired as a Hitman, saying that you guys need a close husband/dad, not a distant killer. I wasn't the first person to know about dad's job, he went by many aliases; The Darkness Marksman, The Final Dagger, Bringer of Blood, Dark Mark X & Dread Spike.

Violet: Your Father had a lot of aliases, didn't he?

Nicole: Yeah... Back to me though, like Gwen I've been bullied myself, been called worst, especially being a Freak but I never did nothing to give them the satisfaction of breaking me so I taught my bullies a lesson, didn't need a weapon as I used my bare hands to rip them apart like paper as they never bugged me again. As I look after Gwen, people look at me, everywhere I go and say... Freak... Freak... Freak... Freak... Freak...

Violet noticed the venom in Nicole's tone.

Nicole: Freak... Freak... Freak... Freak... Freak..... Everytime I hear that, I want to smash my own head in so I can have a few minutes of peace. But I know... I know I have a huge temper as I try to keep it in check. But one day, my mom and dad were out on an anniversary date and Dustin was out a on school project at his friends house, I had to watch Gwen, Skyler, Amber & Reese when I was 17. Everything was fine until a couple of guys wearing strange looking armor broke into our house, tearing up the place as they wanted my dad...

Violet: I see.

Nicole: They wanted answers, I wasn't gonna sell out my father, neither were the other siblings. I tried to fight them, same with Skyler while Amber was protecting Gwen & Reese but they were professionally trained and well equipped killers, they easily beat us & continue to do so it would draw out my dad... I was angry beyond belief that even with my power, I was helpless to do anything...! (Hot steam started shooting out of her body) My siblings getting pummeled, my home being destroyed, mercs & killers looking for my dad like a wanted man... it pissed me to no end! And that's when that hellacious form came to life...

Nicole was breathing heavily in anger as Violet calms her down.

Violet: Easy there, calm your nerves.

Nicole inhaled and exhaled slowly.

Nicole: After that... Everything was reduced to ashes... my house, half the neighborhood and even the killers. My siblings were shielded from the carnage, we had to move to a new house and boy was I beyond grounded, hehehe...

Violet: You wanted to protect your family and in your complete rage, it created the volcanic berserker mode.

Nicole: Uh-huh... every time I use that form whether I give into my rage or forced into it, everyone around me is not safe... 16 cities incinerated and billions of people ended up dead because of me... it wasn't my intention to, it just when I thought I have this chaotic power under control, it slips from my fingers (snaps her finger) just like that. (Sullen look) I don't want anyone I care about to get hurt or worse by the monster that lives under my skin, I'll find a way to keep my berserker mode down even if I have to die and take it with me...

Violet: Are you really....?

Nicole looks at her.

Violet: Are you really... ready to die? You've been fighting for so long, are you sure you want to take that chance? Your bold words tell me that you are but your eyes tell me a different story... are you having second thoughts about giving your life away to put down the monster within you...?

Nicole was silent for a moment, but before she could answer, her phone buzzed in her jacket pocket. She takes it out to look at it as she got a text from Luna; "Nicole, the gig's beginning in 5 minutes, where are you dude?!"

Nicole: Crap! I must've been out for a while, Violet we'll have to talk about this later, can you teleport me to the group?

Violet: Why yes, of course...

Violet's eyes glowed a ghostly white as she chanted a teleportation spell as Nicole was engulfed by a bright light, vanishing from violet's sight.

Violet: Nicole...
