Lexi's POV

  I was at the slumber party with my lavender nightgown, matching slippers, and cherry blossom sleeping bag with my ocean blue otter doll. So far, things were going great. We had pizza, gave each other makeovers, had a pillow fight, made a blanket and pillow fort, and did some magazine personality quizzes. Finally, it was time for Truth or Dare. I remembered my strategy: only pick Dare!

Carrie's POV

  Everything was just great. I got Jessica to disclose her first kiss with Thomas, Grey to sport an adorable butterfly look, and Lara to confess her crush on Denzin the cute school newspaper reporter boy. It was the last one that really got everyone's attention:

  "Lexi, truth or dare?"

  "Dare," she answered.

  "I dare you to tell us who you have a crush on!"

Lexi's POV

  I-I felt like I was gonna completely black out! Why would Carrie do that?!

  "I-I..." I stuttered, "I have a crush on Lynn!"

  Everybody was surprised (except for Jessica), but still smiling. This led me to ask, "This is just between us, right?"

  "Have you told your parents about this yet?" Carrie asked.

  I looked away sheepishly and quietly said, "No."

  Grey looked at me closely and said, "This is the kind of thing that people need to know."

  "Including your parents," Lara added, "and especially Lynn herself."

Jessica's POV

  What, you thought I was gonna be surprised about a girl having a crush on another girl? That's pretty much the relationship between my parents!

Grey's POV

  I didn't have anything against Lexi's crush. I was pretty interested, actually.
