Lexi's POV

  Today was my first day of cheerleading. It turns out that both the Royal Woods Hockey Polar Bears and its cheerleading squad practice on Saturdays at the Snowflake Stadium. After my practice was over, I decided to stick around for the hockey practice, and the team was great. Especially... Lynn. Every time I saw her score a goal, I felt like she belonged in the big league. When practice was over, Lynn asked me if I wanted to get some lunch, and I accepted. Lynn got two meatball grinders and water, while I had a chicken parmesan gyro and water (I wanted to get the grilled cheese, but Lynn said that it didn't have enough protein). We both got one chocolate chip cookie for dessert. Man, I've made quite a few bad decisions in my life, but this definitely wasn't one of them.

Lynn's POV

  Yeah, Lexi was pretty good. I mean, she wasn't falling all over herself. Getting lunch with her was really nice, and she made the right decision choosing the chicken parmesan. Maybe the grilled cheese would've been fine if she were still a run-of-the-mill teenage girl, but she's an athlete now. She needs that protein! Besides, hormones can do a lot to your appetite.
