Lynn's POV

  I can't believe that Mrs. Wilson would disown Lexi for liking girls! I hid it well when I was out with Lexi because I didn't want to ruin this night, but as soon as I got home, I was FURIOUS! I punched the walls (which left a lot of cracks), threw my siblings around (which broke a lot of their bones), and I nearly even gave Lincoln a black eye! Luckily, Lincoln caught the punch and calmly asked, "Lynn, what's wrong?"

  I answered to him, "You remember Lexi, right?"

  "Yeah. Why? Did your date with her go wrong?"

  "No, it went off without a hitch. It's that her mom disowned her for having a crush on me!"

  "What? That's terrible! What should we do?"

  "Beat up her mom!"

  "Maybe instead, we could try to help her learn that same-gender crushes are perfectly fine."

  "You always wanna do things the easy way."

  "That's because it's also the smarter way."

  "Okay, how should we do it?"

  "Show her a documentary?"

  "A documentary? Really?"

  "Hey, it's on short notice."

Lincoln's POV

  Frankly, I was disgusted that Mrs. Wilson would do such a thing! I mean, Clyde has two dads, but is there any problem with that? No, there isn't! It's a free country, people! A FREE COUNTRY!!
