Lexi's POV

  Man, I knew Mom wouldn't approve of Lynn, but I didn't think she'd put me in therapy! Anyway, I sat down on the bench, and Dr. Lopez said, "Okay, Mrs. Wilson, exactly what kind of strange behavior has your daughter been exhibiting?" 

  "Strange behavior?" my mom replied, "why, 'strange' doesn't even begin to describe it! What she's done is absolutely unforgivable!"

  "What could she have done that was so bad?" 

  "She's dating another girl."

Dr. Lopez's POV

  I told them the solution in a mature and reasonable way:

  "That's it? You took your thirteen-year-old into therapy for that?! Homosexuality is perfectly natural; there is absolutely nothing wrong with your daughter! You, on the other hand, are the one with a problem: homophobia!"

Mrs. Wilson's POV

  Homophobia?! That's not a problem! It's a completely rational fear! If your child is dating someone of the opposite gender, then they could get married, and you won't have any grandkids! That's one therapist that I'll never go to again!
