Chapter 1: End to Beginning

MY ADHD CANNOT BE STOPPED!! Enjoy.

Out vast stretch of land, a massive fireball burned its way through the night sky. It was a rocket ship, returning to the planet's surface.

The rocket ship hit the ground hard and dug a mile long trench before it stopped, setting fire to several trees and losing some parts along the way.  When the dust settled, someone inside the ship began kicking the hatch open before, Carol Linnaeus.

Carol coughed and hacked up smog as she stumbled out, muttering, "I've returned... Loud..." Instead of a crew, Carol had a mountain of metals and materials that were not at all from earth.

*10 Weeks Later...*

It was an average day at the Loud house, the sun was shining, the flowers in Rita's garden were dying, and the Louds were the same crazy noisy family they always were. Lisa actually had the TV remote so she was the one in control of the TV channel. The young scientist was watching the news, with an annoyed look on her face. Lincoln took notice as he came to read his comic book on the couch. "What's up, Lisa?" He asked.

Lisa grumbled before clearing her throat to speak clearly, "Carol is back from her trip...

Lincoln looked at "Carol, as in Pingrey, or that crazy lady who tried to kill you and Flip?"

Lisa quickly replied, "The latter."

Lincoln looked at his sister confused before he asked, "And way is this so bad?" Lisa pointed at the TV for Lincoln to see for himself. Carol Linnaeus was on the news in front of Incognito Labs' main headquarters.

Katherine then began her normal introduction, "This is Katherine Mulligan on Royal Woods News and I'm here today with Carol Linnaeus, Head Scientist of Incognito Labs! After a horrible accident sent Carol and her team hurtling beyond the stars, Carol has maliciously returned to our planet with discoveries beyond compare!" The news reporter.

Carol nodded as she replied, "That is correct Katherine. My unfortunate mishap has led to success. Today, I will present you with some of Incognito Labs newest discoveries, called OW-Metals. Each one is now labeled as a new Element on the periodic table."

Katherine then replied confusingly, "OW... Metals?"

"Off-World Metals. Let's start with this." Carol replied before she held out an orb of metal that seemed to change and morph on its own.

"This is what Incognito Labs has come to call, Morphium, a metal that ignores the law of conservation of mass. Able to be turned into any material."

Katherine chuckled, but Carol's expression seemed to expect her laughter. She then replied, "You can't be serious. I'm no scientist but the law of conservation of mass is a fundamental and unchangeable science. Matter can neither be created nor destroyed."

Carol nodded and replied, "Your correct, something like the law of conservation of mass is both the most basic part of science. The scientist then put on a glove with electronics on the back and front palm and with a wave of her hand, the orb of OW-Metal transformed into a dumbbell, labeled as a 20 lb. dumbbell.

"Incredible!" Katherine announced.

Lincoln, amazed by the Morphium, muttered, "Woah..." Lisa shot her brother a glare but it went ignored as Lincoln was too focused on the TV. Carol motioned for a scale to be brought over, where an intern brought an old mechanical weighing scale, a Balance scale. These work due to one plate holding an object of unknown mass, while objects of known mass or weight, called weights, are added to the other plate until mechanical equilibrium is achieved and the plates level off, which happens when the masses on the two plates are equal. The perfect scale rests at neutral.

A/N: I had a brain fart at this point cause I had no clue how to properly explain a Balance Scale. if anyone has a better explanation please just leave the comment HERE, I'll add it in an @ you as thanks.

Carol then placed four 5 lbs. weights on one plate and then the dumbbell on the other. Equaling out to 20 lbs on the dot.

Katherine nodded as she read the scale, "20 lbs. Incredible-" Carol silenced the reporter by raising her hand before waving her gloved hand over the dumbbell, changing it to a 15 lbs. dumbbell. Lisa, Katherine, and Lincoln all expected the weight to remain the same, but shockingly, the dumbbell began to go up, meaning it was becoming Lighter.

Lisa immediately shot up from her seat and shouted, "WHAT?!?!"

Katherine replied quickly, "Amazing! It really does defy the law of conservation of mass!"

Carol nodded before she explained, "Exactly, Morphium can create and destroy its matter with electrical influence." Carol "Incognito Labs hopes to expand Morphium's abilities further. So that we no longer have to try and turn an image that's clear in our minds into reality. Morphium will allow artists and designers to create their products just as they envision!"

"But how can you make it do what you want? Surely it's not just some random shock." Katherine asked, tilting her head in confusion.

"That can be explained with this." Carol turned her hand over to show the glove, upon closer inspection, there was an icosahedron, the same shape as a twenty-sided dice, container with light blue glace covering each face of the container's shape, inside something was glowing brightly.

Carol motioned toward the object as she spoke, "This is Conversium, a metal that defies Equivalent Exchange, thanks to this, I can take the small electrical signals from my brain and amplify them to control the shape and density of Morphium."

Katherine could barely find the words as she replied, "Incredible!"

"Yes, in a few days, Incognito Labs will unveil a new way to power all of Royal Woods, Great Lakes City, and Hazeltucky using Conversium, all to no major cost to the public." Carol replied back, nodding her head.

"That's incredible!" Katherine then turns to the camera, speaking into her mic, "You heard it here first folks. Led by Carol Linnaeus, Incognito Labs will lead our fair state of Michigan into a new technological age!"

"When we switch back, I'll resume by introducing a third element to our dear viewers. Philosonite. What we believe to be the truest version of the mythical philosopher's stone." Carol explained before the news went to commercial.

Lisa scoffed as she changed the channel out of frustration. "What's got you all bent out of shape?" Luna asked.

"GAH!!!" Lisa screamed, realizing that her siblings were now all surrounding her.

"She's upset that her archenemy has found new elements." Lincoln answered for Lisa.

The young genius Loud quickly got back to her feet and retorted, "I am not!" The Loud siblings looked at Lisa with an unconvinced look. "Fine! I am jealous! Happy!?" Lisa shouted, giving up her poor facade.

Leni patted Lisa's head as she replied, "There you go, the first step in accepting a loss is accepting it."

Lynn then added, "Unless your me and you don't lose." Lynn's face had the world's smuggest grin that would just make anyone else punch her immediately.

Lori then grabbed Luan's shoulder, turned her so that she was facing Lynn, before squeezing her ponytail, causing the flower on her shirt to spray Lynn in the face with fizzy water. "GAH!!!" Lynn shouted as she tried to block the onslaught of carbonated water.

The oldest Loud child then replied, "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all."

"Lisa." Lucy said, appearing right next to Lisa, holding a box in her hands.

"GAH!" Lisa screamed as she jumped from Lucy's sudden appearance. "Why do you insist on giving everyone a heart attack!?"

Lucy ignored Lisa's question and held out the box, it was a package addressed to the Loud House with Lisa being the one it was addressed too. "Package for you." Lucy bluntly stated.

Lisa took the package and looked at the sender's name, it was from Carol Linnaeus. "Ugh, where's the pen? I'm sending this back." Lisa quickly said, holding the package away from her in hate.

Luna then took the package and put it on the coffee table, "Come on, dude, at least give it a look." Lisa sighed, opening the package begrudgingly. Inside was an almost impossibly, and outright beyond, high tech device, about the size of a cinder block, in a cylinder shape, with green lights and two screens on the front.

"Cool! What is it?" Lana stated, the other Louds gathering around the strange device.

"Some kinda clock?" Lynn asked, confused by the device.

"Nah, I don't see any clock numbers, or any numbers," Luna corrected.

"How about a monocular?" Luan questioned.

Lori looked down the side of the device, but couldn't see through it. "Nope, it's not see through."

"What about a clock?" Leni asked, forgetting Lynn already said clock.

The siblings all face palmed at Leni's question. Lisa adjusted her glasses and examined the device closely, it was made of metals clearly not from this planet. Luna then began picking at her ear, "Anyone else here?" she asked.

"Hear what?" Lincoln asked, picking his ear before pointing it upward, but not hearing what Luna was hearing.

Luna pulled her finger out of her ear then replied, "That weird beeping noise. It's really quiet, but it bugs me."

"Beeping...?" Lisa muttered as she examined the device, it was powered by what looked to be Conversium, increasing the power of what looked to be enough Lithium-Ion batteries for 200 smartphones. Lisa's mind then put two and two together. The beeping, the Conversium amplifying the power of a lot of Lithium-Ion batteries. Lisa quickly backed away from the device as the beeping became audible to everyone's ears. "ITS A BOMB-"

Then, there was no sound, only a flash. A flash, then fire. The windows cracked before blasting outward with a single LOUD blast.

At Incognito Labs, the explosion could be heard by everyone followed by the shockwave that came after, everyone other than Carol turned toward the explosion's direction. Carol, meanwhile, smiled ear to ear.

Back at the Loud House, or what was left of it, it was burning, everything from the first floor up was on fire. However, in the basement, there wasn't as much flame, as a small hand in a burnt green sweater burst from the rubble that was once the couch, or coffee table. It was hard to tell, both were basically burning piles of wood at this point.

*5 Years Later...*

At a bus stop, five teens, each around seventeen-years-old stood there waiting for the bus. It was Lincoln's friends, all now grown up since the last 5 years;

Clyde, who wore a lime green shirt with a horizontal white stripe on the middle, blue jeans, and white sneakers.

Liam, wearing a dark teal shirt, black leggings, and dark teal shoes with white shoelaces and soles.

Zach, clad in a white beanie, light teal shirt with white inner long sleeves, light blue jeans, and white shoes.

Rusty, who had on a light green with a yellow circular design and someone's autograph on top, brown shorts, and light green shoes.

Stella, wearing a white top with a red star design, light blue jeans, and white boots.

A/N: Original art by muffinzzstudio.

As they waited, Liam was twirling a magnifying glass on his finger. "Where'd you find a magnifying glass? " Zach asked. "Haven't seen one of those in years."

"Duh, no one needs them anymore. Not when everyone has a phone that can do everything a small laboratory can do," Rusty interjected, pointing with the same hand he had a soda in.

Stella then asked, "True, but how did you find one?"

Liam answered, "It's nothing special, found it in my dad's shed, heard antique collectors are looking for old stuff so I'm gonna sell it."

"Sure your dad is gonna be alright with that, you don't exactly have a good bargaining record," Stella added.

Rusty laughed as he recalled something, "Oh, yeah! You got scammed by a dating website and then got detention when the hacker started spamming porn sites in the school group chat!"

Liam stopped twirling the magnifying glass and retorted back at Rusty, "That was you!"

Rusty quickly snapped back, "No it wasn't!"

The two boys went back and forth while Clyde spotted the bus coming down the road, the two boys fighting stopped as the bus came to a stop. On the bus' side it read, 'Royal Lakes City High School Bus'.

The teens climbed on and the bus went off, driven by a robot hooked up to the bus, the students onboard watched as the bus drove up a road that was a bridge without any Piles, also called Supports, touching the ground to hold it up. These floating bridges were instead being held up by a sort of railroad-like tracks underneath the bridge, holding it up as if the cars and bridges weighed nothing.

'No matter how many times I see these Anti-Grav Roads... It still amazes me. Wonder what Lincoln would've thought of them... Hope these excite you up in heaven buddy.' Clyde though as he looked out into the town below the many Anti-Grav Roads. Where his eyes spotted someone on a rooftop.

He was a teenager like Clyde, probably seventeen-years-old too, a strong build, with white hair in a spiked mess fashion and small dash of freckles just below his eyes. Wearing a white puffer vest over a long sleeved shirt with an orange color with black Racing stripes, blue jeans with white around the ankles, and white shoes with glowing orange stripes on the sides and soles.

Clyde did a double take as he had to make sure, but upon looking back, the teen was gone. Sighing sadly before rubbing his eyes, "Should've went to bed earlier then eleven o'clock..." He muttered, then something hit the back of his head, followed by a sharp pain. Clyde turned to see Hank and Hawk, older and bigger than before sitting at the back of the bus. 'That's right... The big town merger that made Royal Woods, Great Lakes City, and Hazeltuckey into Royal Lakes City. ' Clyde flinched at the glares the two were given. 'And those two were a part of the group that didn't like how Hazeltuckey basically got shafted out of the new city name while the towns and schools got merged...' Hank began flinging thick erasers with the points of pencil lead sticking out of it at the other students, specifically ones only from Royal Woods or Great Lakes City.

Stella got hit in the ear, causing her to yelp, "Ow!"

Upon hearing Stella's cry of pain, large glass shutters sprouted from the seats, the bus driving robot then turned its head around to announce, "Rough housing and other acts of violence will not be tolerated! Everyone keep their hands to themselves!

Clyde glanced back to see that Hank was giving Stella the "I'm gonna kill you." gesture.

'Oh no... Those two can't do anything on the bus, but once we're off, Stella's gonna be in trouble...' Clyde looked at his friends, each one had bruises and lumps, Clyde flinched in pain as his own bruises under his chest ached from him turning his body. 'And we can't help her get away, they're still beat up... Sorry Stella-' Clydes thoughts were interrupted by the bus coming to a sudden stop, causing him to go flying out of his seat.

As Clyde groaned and moaned from the pain of his bruises, the bus bot began shouting, "ALERT!!! TERRORIST ON GRAV BRIDGE 4-O!!! ALERT!!! ALERT!!!" Clyde looked up in horror as he saw the flames of cars and could hear screaming as something approached.

To Be Continued...

Thanks for reading! I hope you enjoyed it! Here's a complementary info dump!

Morphium

An OW-Metal Discovered by Carol Linnaeus. This metal is known to defy the laws of Conservation of Mass, as it is able to increase and decrease its density upon command. Morphium is able to become any Non-Organic material or device the user thinks about, so long as they have a Mind Amp to deliver the information to the awaiting Morphium. Morphium is only as strong as the material it replicates, otherwise it's very brittle. It also cannot replicate Organic Matter. Finally, when given a high voltage shock, Morphium becomes Morphonite, a sub-variation of the former metal.
