Taehyung decided to stay with Jimin and his class for the remainder of the day, happily including himself into whatever conversation the children pulled him in. The male loved children just as much as his best friend but he doesn't think he could be a teacher. He would do more playing than actually teaching.

The ash grey haired male noticed that no matter how much Jimin tried to include the child in the far back into any or all activities, he would just silently stare at the mochi for a few seconds before going back to reading his book.

Rude.

"Oh? He's always like that. He's a very smart child though, always pays attention when work is being given but once he's finished, he goes back to reading whatever book he brought for the day." The blonde sighed waving goodbye to the children whose parent(s) or guardian came to pick them up.

Taehyung casually glanced back into the almost empty classroom watching the child still reading.

"Isn't someone picking him up?" He asked curiously.

Jimin leaned back a bit to follow the direction his best friend was looking in. "Yes. They're always late though sadly."

Before Taehyung could reply a ringing was heard coming from Jimin's pocket. Pulling out his phone to check who it was, the mochi released a deep sigh.

"They broke the copying machine in the teacher's lounge again. I have to go fix it. Can you stay with him until his guardian gets here? He normally just stands up instantly when they come."

Taehyung gave the blonde a reassuring smile gently nudging him down the hallway. He didn't mind watching the boy and that's what he did until fifteen minutes he kind of got bored and wanted to talk to him but how does one approach an antisocial child?

The male borrowed a sheet of paper and a pen from Jimin's desk, casually walking over to the boy and taking the seat in front of his desk. The child didn't budge and just continued reading. Taehyung huffed at this but took the pen and started scribbling something onto the paper before slowly turning around and slid the paper with whatever was on it onto the boy's book.

At first he just silently stared at the sheet covering the words he was enjoying immensely, then he started analyzing the scribble running a single index finger over it.

"A turtle." The small whisper came out of nowhere, catching Taehyung off guard but he quickly regained his composer as a soft smile graced his lips.

"Yes. Do you like it?" He asked and the boy gave a simple nod.

He really liked it. It was simple yet unique. It was very pretty.

Glancing up, the boy was met with a soft almost motherly smile which was strange since the person was a male but the smile oddly made him feel warm.

"My name is Min Yoongi."

Taehyung wasn't expecting that.

"Hello Yoongi, my name is Kim Taehyung and it's a pleasure to meet you."

The boy nodded looking back down on the paper with the turtle.

"Can I keep it?"

"Of course! I drew it for you."

"For me?"

"Yes! I really love drawing. I'm a tattoo artist." Taehyung said proudly.

"My dad has a lot of tattoos."

"Oh. Is he the one picking you up?"

Yoongi started playing with the corner of the paper biting his lower lip slightly in annoyance but not annoyance at Taehyung or his question.

"He promised he would. He promised a weekend for just the two of us but...."

"....He breaks his promises a lot." Taehyung finished and Yoongi looked up at him before nodding.

The ash grey haired gave his beautiful but rare box shaped smile before reaching out a hand and stroked the child's head.

Yoongi wanted to cry at the gesture and the smile. He felt so warm and oddly loved. He couldn't remember the last time he had such a feeling, such warmth and he didn't want to let it go but he knew he had to.

"Don't worry Yoongles, I'll stay here with you until someone picks you up and that's a promise. Oh! Let's have lunch together on Monday! I start work then and since my job is close to the school we can have lunch together everyday!"

The male couldn't contain his excitement as if the entire thing was given the green light but the person he wanted to have lunch with just blinked at him with slightly wide eyes.

"Y-You want to have lunch with m-me?" The boy asked in a small voice that threatened to break Taehyung's heart.

"Of course! No doubt!"

Yoongi gave a small smile and Taehyung wanted to cry at how cute it was. He could tell that the child didn't smile often if at all so he was happy he got to see such a rare occurrence.

"Ok Hyung."

The man-child fake gasped holding his chest.

"No no. You shall call me Taetae and that's it. Ok Yoongles?"

"Yoongles?"

"Yes, that's you nickname only I can call you from now on. I demand it!"

Yoongi giggled and Taehyung wanted to hug the cute little boy.

"You're so adorable!" The male held his heart swooning a bit.

"No I'm not!"

"Yes you are!"

The two laughed at each other's silliness. Yoongi couldn't remember the last time he enjoyed himself like this. You would think at his tender age of six all he would do was enjoy his childhood but sadly Yoongi lived in a different world from other kids his age.

Their fun was cut short when someone called Yoongi's name from the door. They both looked over to see a tall man dressed in a black turtle neck sweater and black jeans. He was very handsome and held a beautiful smile as well.

Yoongi slowly got up from his seat, disappointment evident on his once again blank face.

"I'm so-"

"Save it!"

The man began but was cut off by Yoongi's harsh words causing the man to smile sadly.

"Yoongles don't be mean. Apologize." Taehyung reprimand the child causing the man to stare at him in amazement but Taehyung didn't care because all of his attention was on Yoongi who was staring down at his fingers almost fuming.

"I'm sorry Seokjin-hyung." The mumbled words flowed from the child's lips reluctantly but Taehyung smiled stroking his hair in praises.

To say the man named Seokjin was shocked and astonished was an understatement. The normally grumpy Yoongi apologized?

"I-It's ok. I'm sorry your dad couldn't pick you up today. He's very busy with work." The handsome brown haired male said after picking his jaw up.

'So that's why.'

Yoongi sighed quickly folding the drawing Taehyung gave to him putting it into the book before placing the book into his bag.

"He's always busy."

Taehyung picked up Yoongi's bag, both walking over to the man, handing the bag over to him. He turned to Yoongi kneeling down so they were on the same eye level.

"Remember our promise."

Taehyung held out his pinky, the boy blinked at it before placing his smaller pinky with the older male, linking them.

"Bye bye Yoongles."

"Bye Taetae."
