Will
The whole gang was at Scoops Ahoy. It was the last Thursday night of summer.
"How can you eat all of that?" Max asked Dustin.
"Easy, it's delicious and I want to eat it." Dustin said it like it was obvious.
I took another bite of my sundae. Watching. El who was sitting next to Mike. But the way they leaned torwards each other and how their elbows brushed against each other suggested something more than friendship. He didn't know if they knew that though.
Steve
The kids were sitting at a booth. All eating ice cream. Mike walked up to the counter.
"Steve, how do I get a girl to notice me as more than a friend?" He asked.
My eyes widened. He had no idea how long I'd been waiting for this moment. I pulled him into the back where Robin was sucking the hot fudge from a spoon.
"What's up, Stevie." She asked.
"Rob, he has finally asked about how to get a girl." I said.
She nearly choked on her spoon.
"FINALLY!" She said.
Mike had been in the back for a while. What was he doing?

"-But then they didn't believe me. Then Suz called me a week later, and they knew Suzie wasn't imaginary." Dustin was saying to me.
I nodded and smiled.
"She's going to be coming over for Fall Break." He said.
"So he says." Lucas said rolling his eyes.
I grinned.
Mike came back out.
"Hey." He said.
You ok?" I wrote
"Yeah just needed to ask Steve for.....more fudge." He said unconvincingly.
I arched an eyebrow but nodded.
How was he so cute?
