(Story mode)

Kili and Fili were sitting at the table in their dining room eating breakfast.

"Kili, I'm going on a date with Lais today so can you keep Vili away?" Fili asked.

"Sure." Kili said, chuckling.

"I am planning on taking a P-I-E so don't even mention the word or Vili will come running." Fili winked.

"Got it, brother. Now go and have fun!" Kili patted Fili on the back and Fili was out the door. He got his basket full of food and went off to meet Lais at the meadow.

"Kili? Where's Fili?" Vili asked, coming down late for breakfast.

"He's out for a walk. Wanted to clear his head or something." Kili replied, feeling that he had convinced Vili.

"Maybe he's out for a date." Vili said, silently fangirling.

Crap. Kili thought.

"Meh, maybe I won't bother him. I'll hang out with Merry, but if we stumble across #LaisFili it's not our fault." Vili huffed then exited the room forgetting to eat her breakfast.

"Lais, you look beautiful!" Fili exclaimed, seeing Lais in a sparkling blue dress.

"Thank you." She replied, blushing a bit.

"Shall we eat?" Fili asked and Lais nodded. Lais spread out the blanket while Fili sorted through the food. He took out lots of fruit, sandwiches and a special fresh baked apple pie.

"You think it's a good idea to have a pie. What if Vili comes and steals it?" Lais chuckled.

"I made sure that Kili kept Vili out of our business for today." Fili wrapped his arm around Lais and they laughed and talked.

"Merry! Go your butt out here!" Vili pounded on his hobbit door and eventually Merry opened it.

"What?!" He yelled at her.

"Do you want to go for a walk?!" She yelled back.

"Why?!" He shouted.

"Because I love you! Wait, what?" Vili stopped and thought about what she just said.

"Well I love you too, I thought we've already established that." Merry said.

"Eh, true. Where do you want to walk?"

"The forest?" Merry suggested. Vili agreed and they raced to the forest. Of course Vili won since she's more sure footed and loves running.

"Thank you for everything, Fili. I had a great time." Lais said, ducking her head and looking at the ground.

"Lais, I love you." He said slowly, taking her hand and kneeling down.

"Come on, Merry! You're so slow!" Vili yelled before hearing soft voices. She slowed down and peeked through bushes seeing Lais and Fili. Fili was down on one knee. "Omg, omg, he's proposing!" Vili silently fangirled.

"Lais, will you marry..."

"Vili! Wait up-Ack!" Merry ran into Vili, since he didn't see her and they tumbled out of the bushes. They landed in a heap in front of Fili and Lais, right as Fili had taken out a shiny ring.

"Me." Fili tried to finish. Lais and Fili stared at the heap of #Merli and stood in shock.

"Well, um, yes Fili I will marry you!" Lais tried to get back to the matter at hand.

"Yayz!" Vili tried to say as she was squished beneath Merry.

"Come on then Lais. Let's go walk into the sunset. Since its conveniently sunset." Fili picked Lais up bridal style and they walked into the sunset.

"Guys? A little help? Guys?" Vili and Merry tried to untangle themselves and failed.

"Did we almost ruin another ship?" Merry asked.

"I think so. I'm probably going to be hearing about this as soon as Fili gets home." Vili complained.

"Still love me?" Merry asked.

"Always."
