A special ball was to be had in Lorien on this chilly night. Novalee walked into the dimly lit building with Elrond by her side.

Novalee-wow it's so cool looking in here

Snowflakes were hanging from the ceiling and the lights were a soft blue colour, making the illusion of winter.

Elrond-shall we dance?

Novalee giggled as she took Elrond's outstretched hand. He led her onto the dance floor and they started dancing to the soft pop music. Novalee's deep navy blue dress twirled in an elegant way when she spun.

Elrond-do you want to get something to eat now?

Novalee-sure!

The couple walked over to the array of food piled onto the long tables. There they met some familiar faces.

Andromeda-hey guys! I saw you dancing, you're really good!

Novalee-*blushes* thanks

Eomer-you know what else is really good?

Andromeda-what?

Eomer-this pie

Elrond-it's even better that we don't have to share it with Vili

Novalee-what do you mean by "share"?

*all laugh*

Novalee and Elrond go back to dance on the dance floor and Andromeda and Eomer linger by the food table.

Eomer-you know, Andromeda, I really like your dress

Andromeda-*blushes* thanks!

Eomer-purple really suits you

Andromeda-for the record its royal purple not just any old peasant purple

Eomer-well excuse me your majesty *does an over dramatic bow*

Andromeda-*laughs*

Ariella and Thranduil walk in. Ariella wearing a soft, pink medium length dress and Thranduil wearing a sparkly, silver suit.

Ariella-Hey Andromeda!

Andromeda-what's up? You look really pretty

Ariella-thanks! Thranduil wanted me to match his suit but it's a little too ummm flashy for my taste ^.^

Thranduil-you can never be too flashy!

Ariella-umm yeah, there is such a thing as too flashy

Suddenly the doors fling open and Merry struts in, wearing an identical tux as Thranduil.

Thranduil-hey! I was wearing that first!

Merry-woah dude I didn't know

Vili-*runs in* omg you two shop at the same stores?

Andromeda-and here I thought we were going to have a normal party *facepalms*

Thranduil-only one can wear the fabulous silver tux *glares at Merry*

Merry-you wanna go!?

Vili-woah! If you are going to fight at least take it outside and give me a chance to get my camera

Ariella-Vili! You aren't supposed to encourage this!

Vili-But fighting solves all problems

Thranduil-lets take this outside!

Everyone goes outside and Thranduil and Merry prepare to fight.

Ariella-it's kind of cold out here *shivers*

Andromeda-well it is a winter party

Eomer-Andromeda are you cold? Do you want me to hug you and warm you up?

Vili-smooth move...

Ariella-*giggles*

Vili-woah did anyone else feel that it just suddenly got really hot?

Smaug-*flys towards them* I AM FIRE I AM DE-

Thranduil-wait is he wearing what I think he's wearing?

Merry-he is

Smaug-*is wearing silver tux* YOU TWO COPIED MY FASHION CHOICE

Ariella-oh no

*giant battle between Smaug, Merry and Thranduil*

Livia and Legolas walked in during battle and were quite confused.

Legolas-Dad? What are you doing?

Thranduil-TRYING TO RECLAIM MG FABULOUSNESS THAT THESE PEASANTS STOLE FROM ME

Livia-what is going on?

Vili-they're battling because they're all wearing the same suit

Livia-who still hasn't arrived?

Vili-ummmm Thalawen and Aragorn... And Lili and Sam

Livia-better make sure that Aragorn of Sam aren't wearing silver suits too and this whole party could be destroyed

Novalee-*walks out with Elrond* thanks guys for just leaving us alone inside

Livia-don't act like you don't want to be alone with Elrond

Legolas-Thranduil, Merry and Smaug fighting over a suit and some bad mental images from Vili

Thalawen-I think that we really need io stop the party since we started talking about where we buy our perfume...
